WiFi cuts out every 15-25 minutes only on my computer Posted: 29 Aug 2019 11:11 AM PDT My wifi on my computer cuts out every 15-25 minutes for about 1-3 minutes. I do not know if this is a software or hardware issue but please leave troubleshooting for both (software first.) This is the error i get from my web browser: https://gyazo.com/84ec4b36a64330a795fad64de4df6b43 This is how close my wifi card is to my gpu: https://imgur.com/AbxRVur For any wondering, I have a dual fan xfx rx 580 gpu and a TP Link Archer T6E wifi card. How to delete a Facebook Page? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 12:38 AM PDT The situation is more complicated than it seems. So, I created a Facebook Page in 2017 by the request of a client of mine. Since then I have not had anything to do with it until some days ago when I got an e-mail from that client asking me to delete it because they are out of business or something like that. The client had forgotten the password and the username of that Facebook Page. I found the e-mail which that page was created and jumped to mail to check the confirmation code. When I tried to log in in that e-mail account, I couldn't. I learned that I hadn't opened that e-mail account since then and it was deleted. I contacted the e-mail service; GMX and they weren't responding to my e-mails. Being in this dire situation I tried to sign up a new e-mail using the old username. It didn't get fully through the registration. GMX finally responded and they said they decided to keep my account blocked. The telephone number associated to that page is inactive too. Now I have no idea how to proceed. I tried reporting the page but nothing happened. Is there a way to delete it? Thank you! [link] [comments]
Monitor detected only if Nvidia drivers are uninstalled Posted: 29 Aug 2019 10:48 AM PDT Going nuts trying to connect an old Philips 202EL monitor to my new PC (specs at bottom). Nothing works (listed below) except uninstalling Nvidia drivers (436.15), but when reinstalled, the monitor is again not detected (says 'no signal' mid-install and enters sleep mode). In more details: Monitor has VGA and DVI-D ports. Trying to connect it to my GTX 1660 (has DPx3 and HDMIx1 ports) using a DP-DVI-D cable. Monitor is detected during POST and for a few seconds during the Windows splash screen, but then signal is lost. If Nvidia drivers are uninstalled, monitor is detected properly and doesn't enter sleep mode, but has a 800x600 resolution (native res is 1600x900) that can't be changed (resolution dropdown in display settings is disabled). What I tried:
I'm completely stumped and have no idea what else to try. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Specs:

Any way to recover sent Snapchat video on Android?? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 07:55 PM PDT Is there any way to recover a sent snapchat video on an Android device (Galaxy S9)? I poked around in the cache folder but nothing shows. I'm sure any sent photo/video is stored on the device somewhere, no? Do I need some kind of data recovery tool? Appreciate anyone's insight ! 100% disk usage in task manager Posted: 28 Aug 2019 07:50 PM PDT Hi. My pc shoots from like 5% disk usage to 100% at random pretty frequently and causes my pc to be unbelievable slow to the point where it just freezes. I have tried so much to fix it and only really found some temporary fixes. I have updated my drivers, disabled superfetch and antivirus, and more. I have deep scanned my pc multiple times for malware or anything like that and nothing ever turns out to be a threat. Plz help any reply appreciated thank you [link] [comments]
File recovery software completely nuked and disabled my external hdd? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 11:12 PM PDT I have a 1 tb WD passport that had about 600gb of files on it. I accidentally wrote over a folder awhile back so I tried a few different file recovery programs on it to no avail. The first showed me a bunch of deleted files that weren't what I was looking for. The second said no deleted files found, but I was confused as the scan was almost instant as the first took an hour. When I opened the drive, there were no folders or files inside. Windows still displayed it as 600/1000gb, but scanning with windirstat shows 0 files whatsoever on the drive. If I try to copy any files onto the drive, Windows tells me it could not find the file I was trying to move. I'm running windows 10. The 2 softwares used were Jihosoft file recovery and Puran File Recovery. It is not critical to save the files that were on the drive (although it'd be nice,) and the priority is just to get the drive working so I can have a backup of my main disk again.
