    VHS not working, update

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:21 AM PDT

My VCR (Samsung VK-1260) stopped working and I decided to investigate. After running it open I've noticed that the capstan motor doesn't spin at all. It doesn't even turn to put the tape back into the cassette, the VCR just ejects it while the tape is still in. After I hit play/RW/FF the display shows that it's doing it but it isn't and shuts down after about 5 seconds. How can I fix this and what causes it?

Another minor problem is that I can't find the user manual anywhere online, but that's not my priority here.

Whenever I'm browsing or playing games my PC will freeze completely where I can't do anything from 5-10 seconds then I'll get back full control and sometimes I have to restart. Is this a motherboard or hard drive issue or something else? Rx 570 Ryzen 1200 16gb ddr4 2400 Samsung Evo 250gb ASRock ab350m

Can't boot into recovery media USB/DVD

    Posted: 28 Aug 2019 07:48 AM PDT

Hi there, recently my PC unexpectedly shut down whilst installing an update for windows 10. Upon turning it back on I would just get a black screen. I decided to try and reinstall windows using both a USB Drive created using the windows 10 media creation tool and a windows 10 recovery DVD. However, no matter what I try I cannot get either the USB or DVD to boot. I have tried placing the USB/DVD drive first in the boot order, booted into Legacy mode And UEFI, disabled fast boot and secure boot and selecting the relevant media from the boot selection menu but I cannot get either recovery media to boot. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get the recovery USB or disk to boot. I have a Lenovo H50-00 desktop. Thanks :)

PC stutters then restarts randomly, gives stop code: video internal scheduler error; steam games freeze and quit some time after starting with no error code given

    Posted: 27 Aug 2019 03:40 PM PDT

    Specs: Intel i7 8700k, GeForce RTX 2070, 16gb 3000mhz DDR4, Windows 10 64bit.

Hello r/24hoursupport. My PC has had a problem that happens around 2-3 times a day now where it stutters, freezes, and then either restarts on its own or freezes until I have to restart it myself. This problem has gotten worse and worse as to now whenever I play a steam game, it will not even last 5 minutes before the game freezes and quits giving me no error information or even acknowledging the crash. Now that the computer has started to restart itself, it gives the stop code error "video internal scheduler error."

I have singled out my RAM by testing running off of either stick and the problem still occurs. I have ran virus checks and a full hard disk check and removed all malware but the problem stays. I am also up-to-date on Windows updates and have reinstalled my graphics card drivers twice now.

I feel it is also important to note that one crash occurred giving the error code: "DPC Watchdog Violation." After all of these tests the stuttering has gotten much better but I still cannot run a steam game without it quitting randomly.

Edit: I forgot to add that sometimes while I'm in a game, a certain graphic will stretch out and be all glitchy with the appearance a broken tv gets with the rainbow stripes to give you an idea. This makes me think it may have to do with the video card.
