The galaxy note 10 is a joke

    Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:21 PM PDT

Don't get me wrong, it's still a good phone but it is not on par with the Note 10+ or other Samsung Flagships - no headphone jack - 1080p display - only 1 option for ram and storage ( 8gb/ 256gb) - no expandable storage - no DepthVision camera - no Heart rate sensor - no 5g - 3500 mAH (wouldn't last long with 6.3 inch display) - no notification LED (also for the Note 10+) - less colors than the Note 10+ - no 45W charging like in the Note 10+ - no Iris Scanner - Power buton and Bixby buton is the same, meaning you have more chances of triggering bixby

It's still a decent phone, but for 950+ Usd, there are so many better options including the S10 and EVEN the S10e which is at least 200$ cheaper

Edit: thank you so much for the awards. I've never gotten one before so this means a lot to me. Thank you random persons once again

Okay Samsung, you made all great innovations. But... WHO IS GOING TO PUT THE PHONE SCREEN ON THE CEMENT WITHOUT COVERS TO CHARGE THE BUDS????

    Note10 and Note10+

$949 for a 1080p display, no headphone jack, no HR sensor, a drastically smaller battery?

    Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:51 PM PDT

I know I'll probably receive some hate for this but I just want to express my opinion regarding the Note 10 and its price tag.

It's WAY overpriced. For $949 you get:

-A 1080p display (The Note line has had 1440p displays since the Note 4)

    -No headphone jack

    -No Heart-rate sensor

-No expandable storage (This is BIG, I don't understand why they would take this away)

-A drastically smaller battery (compared to the Note 10+)

There are devices out there that have the same SD855 chip, same RAM, & same storage for $100-300 cheaper. I'm having a hard time looking at the reason why the Note 10 is priced so high for the value you get..

Edit: I want to add that the regular Note 10 makes no sense in the flagship Galaxy line-up. When compared to the S10/S10+, is it really worth it?

Moment of silence for the headphone jack

This laptop is $300 cheaper than the note 10+

    Nice

Dear Samsung bring back the headphone jack. Please.

    Posted: 07 Aug 2019 03:03 PM PDT

I can list tens of reasons why we still need the 3.5mm jack. However, it is enough to say that 99% of the current gen of wireless headphones are not audio lag free, yet.

Important question. Could the motion sensors in the new S-Pen be used to emulate a Wii remote?

Apparently I have to write pointless wank into this text field or automod thinks my post is "low effort" fuck robots :)

Thank you Samsung Turkey. 11399 Turkish Lira is €1900 or $2100 and that's just the LTE version. We don't have a 512 GB or 5G option here. Also they are just giving €125 Under Armour coupon and Buds as pre order gift. For comparison, minimum wage here in Turkey is €422.

    Wasn't impressed with the Note 10 / +

    Posted: 07 Aug 2019 05:35 PM PDT

Just my opinion. Ik other people feel the same way. Was really gonna get it for sure until I saw that conference and specs.😞

Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ have stainless steel frame, not aluminum

Note 10 Pricing, what do you think?

    Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:29 PM PDT

Samsung's naming choice was bad imo

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 05:20 AM PDT

I think Samsung should have kept its "note" name recognition for power users, that has everything kind of phone.

Right now it looks like Note 10+ is what people would expect from looking at the spec and Note 10 is more of an cheaper alternative.

What i think should have called is Note 10+ should have been called Note 10, and Note 10 should have been called Note 10 Lite or something.

This way people know when they get Note 10 it is what it always has been; the phone with highest of everything

Samsung Is a Truly Amazing Company

Samsung health is my favorite feature of theirs. So nice to see my results.

Anybody else really enjoy the vertical camera aesthetic?

    Posted: 08 Aug 2019 06:45 AM PDT

I think the note 10 looks like Samsung's most premium device because of this simple switch. When androids first got in the game they had the cameras in the middle and let's be honest android cameras were always far behind (samsung included) but now they're on top. I also just never liked the cameras horizontal. Surely I'm not the only one?

Can somebody please explain to me what this is. I have had it for a while and it kinda freaked me out. Whenever i click on it it say "a certificate authority has been installed on this device. Your secure network traffic may be monitored or modified". I will let you know more details if you want!!

    Rip Headphone Jack

    Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:53 PM PDT

Is anyone else feeling dissapointed after the note 10 launch? Samsung held out for so long but now on their most premium product, the one that should have the most features, they removed a feature which I still feel is relevant in 2019. Especially to people who want to use their nice pair of wired headphones on their note 10.
