Hi :) First Post. My brother in law and sister are quite avid android users. The last time I owned an android was a Galaxy 2 that I received as a prize when I worked in Samsung's telecom inbound call centre (Australia). To be honest I have always had an inclination toward android phones - Only stopped after I got engaged; every new phone I would get after my plan expired would go to my wife and I would receive the handmedown (she's for team Apple). So I summoned up the courage, lifted my muffintop, puffed my manbreasts and told her I wanted to go back to Android. While this upset her deeply, I kept my ground and said I was a man, and demanded I need a new phone and wouldn't stop being pouty until I got one. Fastforward to today, phone has arrived. The experience of opening a new phone is second to none. While I will admit the phone is quite large and noticeably heavy, I am already amazed by its speed and the screen quality. I look forward to spending the next few days reading, downloading, deleting and moving things around until the wee hours of the morning and then binge-drinking coffee until the weekend. | How I store the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 into the tiny provided case in under 30 seconds Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:12 AM PDT This has worked for me so I can fit everything into the case with the magnetic connection of the earphones preserved. I thought it might be useful to try out and see if it works for you. Video demonstration: https://imgur.com/a/5UwpCX1 First join the earphones together magnetically. Then, squeeze open the case as wide as possible and dangle the earphones (while holding the neck strap) to guide them into the case until they are at the bottom of the case. After, allow the thin wires to similarly fall into the case. Wind the remaining thick neck strap into a circle and push into the case to allow the case to close. About two weeks ago my courier (UPS) reported the item as received, and endless chats with OnePlus support kept promising to resolve the matter in "1-2 business days". Eventually I got a response, claiming that the warehouse reports receiving an empty box, using a blurry picture of a cut open box as proof. Which is interesting, since the package was registered as weighing 3 pounds, which an empty cardboard box would not weigh. Could it have been stolen by a dishonest warehouse worker? Is OnePlus trying to scam me? Would love to hear if anyone has had a similar experience [link] [comments]  |

I'd really appreciate any suggestions for an after-market case (or source for OEM) that is just as thin. | Posted: 28 Aug 2019 03:53 PM PDT Hello, I want to ask if anyone here had experience with screen popping out of the phone. It just happened to my Oneplus 3 for no reason at all. I noticed that pocket mode activated itself even if the screen/front sensor isn't covered. Then I noticed it :( At first I thought it's just tempered glass... it's exactly like this (not my picture, found it on oneplus forum). Pushing the screen doesn't work, seems like glue isn't sticky anymore... I had zero problems since release with this phone and I don't want to throw it away... do you think a repair shop can glue it back or something for a reasonable price? | Verizon Prepaid Oneplus 6t success! Posted: 28 Aug 2019 03:50 PM PDT I got my oneplus 6t in the mail today. Swapped my sim card over to the first sim slot, nothing, no reception nothing, put it in slot 2, LTE and everything popped up right after connecting. Didn't know there was a difference. Sent out a bunch of texts and MMS just in case, everything worked right out of the box. I still got a hold of verizon online chat (from account page). First guy sucked butt. He knew what to do but took 5-6 minutes in between both replies. Said he did the cdma-less device and HD voice. He messed something up because now I couldn't receive. Only send. Everyone at work was getting my messages but not able to get theres. Got tired and told him I'm tired of waiting 5 minuites in between every one of his messages. I looked around phone settings but doing that phone call code menu and nothing worked. Set it back to what the phone set it to at default (TD-SCDMA/CDMA/UMTS) . Got tired of waiting for replies so I exited, waited half an hour and got a new tech on online chat. Told them the whole scenerio and I think the last guy messed something up because I was able to receive and send before I had him fix my profile. She said ok, sent a few tests at me, got nothing, said she thinks she found the problem, told me to turn my phone off, did, changed something, told me to turn phone back on and I got flooded with texts and MMS. Everything work great. Told her I was going to built a monument in her honor for how painless it was. Moral of the story, it worked fine out of the box (so don't worry if it does?) in the 2nd slim slot (not sure why sim 1 didn't read ). Tech 1 fucked it up, tech 2 fixed his fuck ups. | Posted: 28 Aug 2019 09:22 AM PDT My Bluetooth headphones died (sony wh1000xm2) so I decided to use them wired for once, I forgot the dongle so I had to go to my nearest tech store and buy a dongle, an apple one. The volume is not nearly as loud as wireless, and randomly gets quieter, and them louder, without me even touching my phone. Is this a OnePlus, Apple or Sony thing? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |
