A love your phone but make it smaller... Posted: 30 Aug 2019 07:34 PM PDT I know this more likely worthless but it's the internet too so whatever... I just bought a 7 Pro for my wife, she loves the phone, I love the phone, feels great have all the features I want and feels premium when I hold it my hand but damn... Screens have become so large I just hate having a phone that is so big or having to trade off something for the sake of a smaller phone but ratios are so good idk why we don't see more smaller phones with larger screens only. Like I'm changing to a iPhone xs because it feels premium, it's smaller and has a good quality build. I had a s10e and it just felt cheap in my hands and ended up returning it. When I was holding the 7 Pro today, my only thought was "if this was smaller I would buy two of them... For a higher price... And I think it would be worth it..." [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Aug 2019 03:33 PM PDT Has anyone done a touch latency test on the latest OOS on the 7 pro? I've had the device since release and I think 9.5.11 has the best touch latency of any device I've used. The device was perfectly smooth and reactive before the latest update but now that it's been out for a bit I feel like the latency is greatly reduced overall. Has anyone else noticed this? Turn off/disable select sim on OnePlus One? Posted: 30 Aug 2019 09:45 AM PDT I get this notification popping up. I use my old OnePlus one for music etc so don't need a sim card. Any idea if there is a way to disable this notification? [link] [comments]
5.67 GB used in 11 days, 3.8 GB by Android! Posted: 30 Aug 2019 01:56 PM PDT So I just got a message I was out of data. Apparantly I've used 5.67 GB in that past 11 days, 3.8Gb of that was Android background stuff. Does anyone know what this is or why? Or how to prevent using as much data before? A message popped up at the bottom of my OnePlus3 and I'd really like to know what it said. Posted: 30 Aug 2019 12:10 PM PDT This could absolutely not be the place to ask this and I'm sorry if it isn't! I have a OnePlus 3 (still going strong!) that is on AT&T Straight Talk phone service. A message that looked like it was from my phone popped up at the bottom of my screen (which is kind of weird) and all I could read was "your phone carrier can now" and then it said something about robocalls. It vanishes after like a second and I can't find it again. I receive tons 3-8 robocalls a day, so I'm pretty interested to know what it said. Did this happen to anyone else or does anyone know if att through straight talk is auto blocking robo calls? I would rather get the information from here because the straight talk customer service is a time consuming nightmare. Thank you in advance if anyone can help! I'm so tired of robocalls! Is there a way to turn 60fps mode and lower resolution on with one button? Posted: 30 Aug 2019 09:51 AM PDT Was wondering since battery saver doesn't turn these on automatically. Can it be done with a tasker profile? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Aug 2019 10:52 AM PDT I'm looking to go away from my iphone x (and iOS) because the restrictions are to heavy in the software and my storage is too low for my use. I want to ask if it's worth to switch to the Oneplus 7 Pro or the Oneplus 7. The screen and performance is for me the most important things in a smartphone. It's tough because I could also wait for the Oneplus 8 or all the other phones coming early 2020. For help I would be very grateful. [link] [comments]
International OnePlus 7 Pro not compatible with Sprint? Posted: 30 Aug 2019 05:57 PM PDT Just to verify what I've dug through, I see that Sprint has a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G for sale, but the price is $840 vs buying from OnePlus a 6GB RAM version for $670. Anyone here know about the compatibility? My googling shows that no, the international one is not completely compatible. :/ [link] [comments]
Cannot access *#808# screen with latest OS on OnePlus 7 Pro. Posted: 30 Aug 2019 09:26 AM PDT Input *#808# into the dialer and the input disappears after pressing the final #. Is there an alternate way to access this screen through activities or anything? My auto rotate is terrible, I would like to recalibrate it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Aug 2019 06:03 AM PDT http://imgur.com/gallery/YDyv7ZS Not a complaint just a heads up. it took about three months for my clear case to start to yellow noticeably. Will try some cleaning options. Not a smoker so I'm assuming it's just UV rays doing their thing. [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Aug 2019 10:16 AM PDT So I want an op7 pro. I have Amazon prime and want to order an unlocked version from there because their customer service is great if for whatever reason I need to return it. But the US uncloked versions are over 800 dollars. Do you know why? And should I just get the International model of the phone? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Aug 2019 03:23 PM PDT Does anybody know what the default factory settings are for this phone for the following options:-
Thanks. [link] [comments]
[MOCKUP] OnePlus 7T Pro in two new colours - "Merlot Red" and "Spearmint Green" Posted: 30 Aug 2019 04:22 AM PDT (This is a mockup based on what I would like to see. A mockup. Not real. NOT. REAL. I swear to fuck if I see a single shite tier tech blog posting these as a "leak" I'm going to GO FUCKING BALLISTIC) [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Aug 2019 02:54 PM PDT Will it be worth waiting for the release of the one plus 7t pro? Interested in upgrading from my note 8. I think I'll wait, if the 7t pro is cool ill grab it. If it's not much if an upgrade then ill buy the 7 pro. Just wanted to grab you guys opinion. First time thinking about a one plus. [link] [comments]
Brand new 6T, getting no signal/mobile network not available Posted: 30 Aug 2019 02:52 PM PDT Hey, Just unboxed a 6T and can not get it to actually connect to my network. The device recognizes the sim as AT&T etc, but I don't get any signal bars. Installed the latest update to see if that fixed it, it didn't. Looks like a few people have had similar issues over the past few months, what gives? Advice? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Aug 2019 02:19 PM PDT My 7 pro came in today and I'm in love! Just a few questions to get it set up optimally. I'm looking at installing Gcam to get the camera that tiny bit better and I can't figure out which one to try. Looks like Arnova is the safest bet, but are there any better ones out there? What display calibration settings should I use? Vivid was way too saturated for me but I do want to take full advantage of this beautiful display (first AMOLED phone). Currently using P3 and I'm pretty happy with it. Finally, what are the benefits of rooting this phone? I've had a rooted phone for years but for the first time, I'm not really sure if I want to this time. The phone is already blazing fast, and has all the customization I could want. But there are some magisk modules and build.prop tweaks I'm going to miss. Also want to try out some of the kernels available. What do you guys think? Any other advice would be appreciated! Edit: OP7 Pro* [link] [comments]
The one thing that bugs me about the OP 7 Pro Posted: 29 Aug 2019 09:30 PM PDT I've had the OP 7 Pro for more than a two months and I still love it! This phone is everything that people are saying: it's fast, crazy 90hz refresh rate is to die for, not the best camera but works really well, etc. Heck, I might just even stick with this for 2 whole years because of how good this is! But there's just ONE thing that really bugs me about this phone, and that's the ambient sensor. Every single time I'm trying to hear a voice message from Whatsapp in a semi-dark room it will always darkens the screen and switches the audio as if I'm listening to it from the earpice. Every time I'm reading something it lowers up the brightness too much out of nowhere, with no environment change. Coming from an iPhone, the sensor doesn't have an accurate control of how and when to lower or bring up the brightness. [link] [comments]
Dash charging not fast enough on my new 7 (non pro) Posted: 30 Aug 2019 01:44 PM PDT I got the 7 about 4 days ago and while the charging speed is faster than anything I've ever used, it does not seem to measure up to the advertised speed. I get 50% in a little around 35 minutes. I want to see if this is normal or I'm overreacting. I also downloaded the ampere app and it shows that my device is getting between 2500 and 2800 ma during charging. I read that it should be well above 3000ma. Is my charger faulty? Should I complain? I got the phone from aliexpress [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Aug 2019 01:32 PM PDT I managed to make an animation from photos. But have forgotten how to do this again. So, the question is how do I make a stop motion video? Short of downloading an app [link] [comments]
OnePlus case vs whitestomedome glue Posted: 30 Aug 2019 01:32 PM PDT Just installed my whitestonedome screen protector. Followed all the instructions. After all the glue was cured I put my phone back in my case. I'm running the sandstone case from OnePlus. An hour later I noticed one of the corners of my case had broken off. When I tried to take my phone out of the case the whole thing started crumbling. Something in the UV glue reacted with the plastic of the case. It turned it super brittle. https://i.imgur.com/r6zNX5l.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/oS48Pnb.jpg [link] [comments]
Disabled apps keep coming back Posted: 30 Aug 2019 01:20 PM PDT I have disabled Allo, Chrome and the stock youtube app. But since the past 2-3 days, I've been observing that they keep coming back every now and then. I have disabled them 4-5 times since tuesdays alone. This wasn't a problem before. Is there a reason for this happening? Is anyone facing this issue? I know I can just use adb to remove them permanently but I am waiting for Android 10 before I do that. [link] [comments] |
