GCam apk for the OnePlus 7 Pro Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:02 PM PDT Does anyone know of a working GCam Apk for the OnePlus 7 pro? I've been installing a ton of them but none of them seem to work and most force close. [link] [comments] |
Can someone explain the difference between the UV glass and non-adhesive? I'm a bit torn Posted: 15 Aug 2019 08:58 AM PDT I've used non-adhesive glass for years on previous phones with no issues. Whats with the sudden surge in using UV activated, glue-on tempered glass? I've seen a few comments here and there, but personally I wouldn't think the glass would "absorb" an impact, but rather spread it to the device glass easier, but perhaps my thinking is wrong on that. Last weekend I tried to apply a UV glass, but my experience was terrible and it felt like such a hassle vs just sticking a non-adhesive glass on there. To be honest, im only willing to give glue-on glass a shot because I haven't found non-adhesive glass anywhere. So far i've only found the weird ones that have a black bezel around the edge, and i tried that but found the bezel to cover the edge of the screen and not align properly. also, glued-on glass is pricey and i miss when I could just buy a 2pack or 3pack for $10, and have easy on hand extras to replace, vs glued on that I'd have to set up and prep for for $35-45 on my oneplus 7 pro. yikes. :( [link] [comments] |
Are you guys have the same problem Posted: 15 Aug 2019 06:23 PM PDT So I have a Oneplus 6t and had it for almost nine months and the battery life has been decreasing I feel like. Before the phone when through 2 days with my daily usage but now it can't even last 1 day or 1 and a half at the max with the same usage and it is getting annoying. Mine is a T-Mobile phone so maybe that might affect it but I just want to see if anyone else have this problem or it is just me. I have been thinking of switching or upgrading. But I love this phone so help. [link] [comments] |
Oneplus Battery passive battery drain Solutions? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 02:08 PM PDT I know this topic has probably been beaten like a dead horse but, I wanted to see what were a few things I can do to address the passive battery drain I'm experiencing. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Aug 2019 12:55 PM PDT Since I upgraded to 9.5.11, I got many problems in differents apps like messenger, Reddit, .... Sometimes, the refresh is stuck and I need to wait few seconds before it comes. I tested with other phone on my wifi and they don't have any problem. I'm on a 5ghz wifi with full signal, I already tried to restart it, didn't change anything. Do any of you got the same problem? [link] [comments] |
Ear busting notification every time sending a message with ear buds on (OnePlus3). Posted: 15 Aug 2019 11:56 AM PDT I have all systems sounds turned off. All my phone calls and messages are on vibrate. Every time I send a message without he the ear buds connected, there is no sound, but If I send a message with ear buds on, it beeps at full volume, blasting my ear drums. Any ideas or solutions? Started since last update. [link] [comments] |
Oneplus 3 COMPLETELY bricked. Anyone have any ideas? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 10:19 AM PDT I bought an Oneplus 3 almost 3 years ago (10/2016) because it was on par/better than the competition at the time at drastically lower costs. It was truly a flagship killer and I've been very happy with it. 2 days ago on 8/13/2019, I plugged it to the charger and put it down on my bed. I had not sat on it that day nor had it got in contact with any water. Later in the evening, I checked it and it was completely bricked. I thought "oh no big deal. I'll just leave it on the charger for a night and it should be fine." Nope. Still completely bricked the next day. I've tried pushing all the buttons and their combination (volume up + power, down + power, power + up + down, down + plugging in cable, etc), leaving it plugged in. I've read some of the threads on this subreddit and it mentioned plugging it into the computer to hard reset it. I tried to do that and my computer doesn't even recognize that anything is plugged in. i.e. my phone does not even show up. If my phone doesn't show up, I can't factory reset this via some of the methods I've read about. At this point, I'm at a loss of what to do next. I've called Oneplus and got a RMA to send it in for repair but I wanted to try everything I feasibly can by myself first. I really like this phone and would be very sad to have to get a new one so soon (<3 years). Could it have been the Android Pie update? Any one else have this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Aug 2019 10:58 AM PDT I spent hours resetting 7 Pro, messing around with various settings, but couldn't get "OK Google" to work consistently. It turns out that apps like Button Mapper conflicts with Google Assistant. [link] [comments] |

Anyone experience slow warp charging speed? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 11:35 AM PDT My phone used to charge 3-4% in a minute and now barely reaches 2%/min(powered off). I read that it has 5V,6A charging so I used one of the voltage/ampere measuring apps and apparently mine reached 5.5 amps for a minute or so and then goes down to 3.2 amps while voltage doesn't go above 3.8. is their a fix or is something else wrong? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 08:03 PM PDT This is my first OnePlus device and from what I've heard they have the reputation for being "faster" than pixel devices so I thought why not give it a shot. Even though the OnePlus is noticeably faster at opening apps it's lacks the fluidity I saw on the pixel. So many frame drops in the UI even when I forced 90hz via adb. I pretty much love the rest of the phone( even the camera) but this downgrade in smoothness is killing me. [link] [comments] |
How long does your OP3 hold up on a single charge? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 01:28 PM PDT Just did a factory reset and my battery is holding up much longer than before. Now it's enough for a whole day. I'm really kinda impressed for a 3 year old phone SoT: 3h Battery usage since full charge: 14h [link] [comments] |
Permanent live wallpaper oneplus7? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 07:11 PM PDT As title shows can I have a permanent moving wallpaper? It only moves when I unlock phone then it stops. [link] [comments] |
Can I recover my corrupted internal storage after a TWRP restore of an earlier security patch? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 07:07 PM PDT I made a newbie mistake today and restored a TWRP backup from an earlier security patch. Now, my interal storage is inaccessible and the filenames are gibberish, as expected. Is there ANY way possible to recover my internal storage? I never backed it up to another location, and I would really like to get it back. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Aug 2019 07:01 PM PDT Title. The microphone quality is absolutely abysmal. It is nearly impossible to understand any recordings or phonecalls (from the other parties end). Has anyone else had this problem, is there a fix or should I just send it back and hopefully get compensation. I can't afford to wait for another delivery as I work in sales and I might have to refund this device and pick up a pixel. Shame. I contacted support and the most they could do is 5 business day RMA and a fucking $20 voucher. I've been with OP since the OnePlus One and this is how valued I am as a customer? This is fucking ridiculous. [link] [comments] |
Have to restart my phone every morning for text messages Posted: 15 Aug 2019 06:54 PM PDT Had my OP7 for a few months now and every now and then, I'll have to restart my phone in the morning in order to receive text messages. I can send just fine but receiving doesn't work. And even after a restart, I don't get the messages that were sent to me. Yes I have Verizon and yes I called months ago for the CDMA-less. I'm getting fed up with this issue. Anyone else experienced this? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:01 AM PDT I can't get Viper4Android to work on my OnePlus 7 Pro. It just says Enabled: No under driver status. [link] [comments] |
Is there any possible way to use my OnePlus 3(North American vers.) in India? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 06:21 PM PDT Specifically with Reliance Jio if possible. I'm talking flashing some kinda rom, weird unlock process, anything. Willmyphonework.net says that the NA version is not compatible with 4g LTE in India, which is a dick move tbh... Earphone Notification WAYYYYY too loud Posted: 15 Aug 2019 08:46 AM PDT I feel like I'm just an idiot but every time I have my earphones plugged into my oneplus 5t and I get a notification, it blows my ear drum out. I dont know about you but I prefer not to have a high pitched max volume DING in my ears every time I get a notification while my earphones are plugged in. Can someone assist me in turning the notification volume down? I have it on silent mode and have notification volume completely off, but my ears can not stand the pain. pls help [link] [comments] |
New 6T user here. How Do I use Servify to take advantage of my 1 year warranty? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 01:43 PM PDT New here. Never done this before. Maybe.. I am completely dumb. But when I purchased my phone.. I also bought the "Accidental Damage Protection Plan 12 Months".. My question is.. How do I add this to my phone? [link] [comments] |
Locked myself out of OP6, any solutions apart from resetting the device? Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:21 PM PDT Yesterday I had to put a pattern lock and a fingerprint lock onto my phone (OP6) as I just activated Google Pay. The only problem is that, about two hours ago, I accidentally locked myself out and I've been trying about 40 different patterns since then, and recording the ones that haven't been working. I've been googling extensively on what to do but so far the only solutions seem to be to totally reset my device. Surely there must be another way around this? (I'm on Android 9 btw) [link] [comments] |
What Gcam are y'all currently using? (6t) Posted: 15 Aug 2019 05:10 AM PDT Like the title says, I have been on the same Gcam since like February and was hoping to update it. I've tried a couple and they've crashed, so I was hoping to get some links to a more stable one that you all have been using. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 15 Aug 2019 11:04 AM PDT So I started a group chat with a couple of my friends and have noticed that when they send a message the name of the person does not show up. Is there a way to fix this in the settings? Also is there a fix on older devices? Because my brother has the 6t and he can see the names. [link] [comments] |
