Turned it on again then turned it off. It's now stuck in a continuous loop of turning on showing the boot up screen then turns off the screen off then on again for a brief 7 seconds. Can anyone help? Technically it works just fine, however it always enters a status of fault when i attempt to print. I have checked the drivers and they should be fine as well. It has vega graphics that I don't really ned for anything as 100% of the communication goes by the LAN and there is no screen attached. | Posted: 19 Aug 2019 03:52 AM PDT First time posting and I'm not sure if this is the right sub to post on for it but i thought it it was my best bet. This isn't to do with a password problem really it is to do with instagrams request support form not working and I could really use a tech hand on how I should proceed to get my page back as I believe it's been hacked and I'm really worried about my page being compromised as it's crucial to my work life. I use Instagram for my work daily and it's crucial to getting my job done. Recently while using Instagram I got logged out on all my devices. When I went to log back in my original password would not work I went through the recovery process and realised the email used to set up the page wasn't the same. It was kind of clone email address, it had the same letters but missed the numbers I had at the end of my original address. I don't know how this has been changed but something seemed very off about it all as I don't remember ever setting up a similar email. I went to proceed to the request support form on the Instagram log in page but every time I click it on it it loads up the form with the titles but will not let me input any letters at all. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times but it still glitches and does not let me type the form out so I'm guessing it's an internal problem with Instagram not just my device. So I was gonna ask you guys if you know any way that I should proceed with this? I feel like I've got no way of contacting them, i don't understand why the form is glitching the way it is and it's just got me trapped as I'm getting serious grief from my boss to sort the issue and I have no clue how to proceed, any and all support would be a saviour [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 19 Aug 2019 03:49 AM PDT So, after a recent windows 10 update the AMD setting software informed me that the drivers were damaged, so I went on the AMD site, I downloaded the automatic drivers recognition software and I let it do it's thing like I have done other times. This time however the laptop got stuck on boot (for like 1h and a half), I figured I would go into safe mode and reinstall the drivers but now into the recovery options the safe mode is gone... Windows boot repair software in the recovery option wasn't useful. I am now trying to make a windows 10 image on USB to try and repair the system. Is there any other way I can just update these drivers without going into safe mode? Edit: sorry for the horrible typos but obviously I am on my phone right now 🤣 [link] [comments]  |

It has worked perfectly fine until I shut it off, and when I tried to boot it up again the "powered by android" screen took forever to load. And when it did load, The wifi wouldn't turn on! By that I mean, The button from the notification toolbar doesn't turn green, the switch from the settings just stays gray. Please help :( The bluetooth and all other features work fine, I've tried resetting it and all it did was erase my data and it still didn't fix the wifi issue. Posted: 19 Aug 2019 03:41 AM PDT So my grandma has a laptop with Windows 10, and because I'm not on it yet and barely use my Microsoft account, this is a bit confusing. Basically my grandma likes to play Solitaire, but it kept asking her to login, it showed up the prompt with the accounts, there was one with her Microsoft username and I couldn't log in cause she didn't know her password (my dad and I set this up a while, and she never keeps track of the notes we write passwords down on), so in trying to reset her password, which I did, I think I created another account, but that account's username is just the email address. So to recap, there's now an account with an Username tied to my grandma's email. Another account where either a) The username is just the email address and it allows an @gmail in it or b) there's an account with my grandma's email that is different from the one mentioned below. Also to play Solitaire, it associated a newly created Xbox Live account, with a random TropicTurnip gamertag (for some reason it doesn't ask you for input in any of this), which I changed to the username she usually uses, the one on the first account. So basically are the two accoutns the same? If not how do I get rid of the second? Hopefully I can get the first account back with the gamertag i put on the second one, cause it shows up in the corner and I don't want one of their random ones confusing my grandma. I have to go through all of this just so my 83 year old grandma can play solitaire in peace. EDIT: Apparently the first accoutn has my grandma's username but spelled wrong so that was probably the problem. Might just fix this myself, but I'll write it in the comments and close this. I haven't had it on in a couple of weeks since I've been away but it seems completely dead. I've had it plugged in and the charging light is on but nothing at all is happening when I try to turn it on. Im not confident in taking it apart or anything as I know very little about laptops. | Is it normal for there to be some quiet static when audio is "on"? Posted: 19 Aug 2019 02:52 AM PDT This may be a dumb question. I was/am having issues with my sound (volume too loud) so I was messing around with drivers and doing all sorts of things to try to get it down to a reasonable level. I didn't find a solution and ended up downloading an equalizing program to lower the decibels. Throughout the process, I was listening to the sound often, and I think it was after downloading Window's generic soundcard driver and listening with extreme scrutiny that I noticed an increase in background static. I Googled the problem and a lot of solutions came up (they didn't work) but when they say 'static' I don't know if they are referring to what I'm hearing or if what I'm hearing is normal. After listening to a few tracks off the latest Slipknot album the static seems less noticeable, but it's still there. Anyways I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but I'm gonna ask just to make sure I'm not going crazy. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 19 Aug 2019 02:37 AM PDT I'm on windows 10, and there was some update the other day. After this update, I'm having problems with icons on my taskbar. I can left click and simply open them. However, if I right click on it, and then click on one of the options that comes up in the menu, I get this message that says "the item you selected is unavailable. It might have been moved, renamed or removed". This means I can't open private browsing from the taskbar, because to do that I need to right click the browser icon and then click the private browsing option in the menu that comes up. It does the same with other things on the taskbar, like the file explorer for example - I can't right click on it and then get quickly to certain folders that way anymore. I've tried unpinning things and pinning them again, it still does it. I've tried googling this and searching on here but I've not found anything useful so far. [link] [comments]  |
