Tip: Android 9 Pie has system wide dark mode in Developer options Posted: 02 Aug 2019 11:20 AM PDT Although HTC was very late with update, at least they gave us some extra features like Digital Wellbeing and system wide dark mode, so no need for Android Q. You can enable it in Developer options and there are 3 options - Always On, Always Off and Automatic (based on time of day). It works with apps that doesn't have toggle (e.g. Google Photos). Unfortunately, stock HTC apps don't support dark mode (settings, phone, messages, people) and don't expect that HTC will update the apps in the future. But at least we have dark mode for 3rd party apps including Google apps. Enjoy. :) [link] [comments] | ||
