Would 3.07.1700.1 make it work (although I'll have to find the ota zip since ota will try to install lollipop) or will I have to go to KitKat? [link] [comments]  |
| u11 still worth it? May be time to say goodbye to my HTC 10 :( Posted: 15 Aug 2019 08:39 AM PDT Over the weekend, the same day I paid my summer tuition, I broke my htc 10. I was stoked when I picked it up after dropping to not see any new cracks, but after unlocking it half the screen was black. And, the half that still display images gets foggy after a little bit. The side that is black is still fully interact-able and I can still receive calls, it's just not a viable way to use a phone. I am waiting to hear back from a local repair place that I trust on the cost of a screen replacement. Only thing is, I was already having battery issues prior to dropping it (dying at 43%, sometimes even up to 50%). So I am also waiting for an additional quote on the price of screen & battery replacement. I love my HTC 10 a lot, and am not thrilled about many other phone options out there at this time. Additionally, I don't have a lot of disposable income because of just paying summer tuition and getting ready to pay fall tuition. I handled some budget option smartphones at best buy, but I am not thrilled. I am considering waiting a little while and buying the U11 if the cost to repair my phone is comparable or more than buying a new (lower priced) phone. Is the u11 worth it after having the HTC 10? Or should I look at other options? [Side note, despite HTC not interfacing very well with any of my other technology, I have loved the two phones I have had with them over the years.] Edit: I'm am not really interested in any of the Pixel's Edit 2: The repair shop called to alert me that they cannot source any of the parts for my phone and suggested I contact my carrier and try and go through them [lol] [link] [comments]  |

I havent got the update to pie yet(single sim) so i would like to see if pie has even better results with gcam,especially night sight. | Posted: 15 Aug 2019 09:29 AM PDT I have an old HTC 10 which I'm using only at home but recently small parts of the touchscreen are not responding when touched. Where could the problem be? I have screen protection made of glass, but I don't think the problem would be that. [link] [comments]  |
