[DEV] Major update with audio fingerprinting and redesign of my primary app - AutoTagger tag editor. Posted: 26 Aug 2019 07:45 AM PDT Hi guys! Few months ago i've wanted to improve my existing app, but codebase was shitty (after 2.5+ years) and i decided to rewrite app from scratch! If you don't know what is AutoTagger, it is automatic and batch music tag editor app! So i felt a very enthusiastic about this idea because this way i could bring all long-requested features. As far this update is most majorupdate during app launch, there are a lot of new features:
Unfortunately due to completely new strings a lot of translations were lost and if you want to help with translation, you are welcome (i am always happy to gift a promo codes). I've already published this update in Google Play and it collects a lot of positive reviews, but if you would face with any issues, please notify me. And by tradition, a set of promo-codes for two in-app purchases: Please mark them as taken after you use a code . Thank you and if you enjoy the app please take the time to leave a review as it helps me a lot and reflects on my hard work :) [link] [comments] |
Play Store: How to respond to negative reviews saying there are too many ads? Posted: 26 Aug 2019 01:18 AM PDT Hey everybody, This sub had been pretty useful for me in the past so I decided to pop another question to hear your ideas and opinions. So I'm currently working on Google Play Store reviews for a developer and their reviews often say there are too many ads. What do you guys think is the best "developers response" to address those reviews? (The app is Free and there is no premium option to remove ads) Thanks a lot to everyone in advance who spares time to read this and/or reply! Edit: A huge "Thanks!" from my heart to everyone who contributed to the discussion - always looking forward to hearing more because this has been super useful to me in terms of collecting opinions and insights. A little more info about the app: it is a photo editing app that offers many different features but it's nothing professional, just for regular people who want to have some fun with their photos or edit them for social media. Edit 2: The app has a 4+ overall rating. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Aug 2019 06:41 AM PDT CamScanner is a great app but I don't want to pay monthly for an app that I hardly use once in two or three months. Is there an alternative to CamScanner that can be bought with a one-time fee? [link] [comments] |

App Manager - Debloat without root (5.0+) Posted: 26 Aug 2019 06:54 AM PDT This is the first app I ever made public. It is basically an simple application manager, but it can be really powerful. What makes this app unique is that you can disable and uninstall any app, even system apps (*). You can also use it to batch uninstall and install apps. It can restore uninstalled system apps on most devices. I did my best to make the UI good looking. It has a dark and light theme. Screenshots | Download (XDA-Labs) Notes: - To give the app special privileges required to run, a computer with adb or a rooted device is required. - System apps will stay on the system partition for non-root users, but it's not really a tradeoff (explanation) I made this app alone in my free time, so please keep that in mind when rating my app or voting this post. You will probably find some translation mistakes. If you do, feel free to send a DM. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Aug 2019 11:55 AM PDT I don't want to put Twitter or any other social media on my phone but I still want to have access to the content. I used to use a app called hooks here is an post from 2015 about it. Anyone know of something like it as a replacement because Hooks isn't in the play store anymore. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Aug 2019 12:08 PM PDT Like Talon for example, it is 1774 days old with 100K installs. Twidere is 2675 days old with 500k installs. How is it that these apps are still available? [link] [comments] |
Best alternative to HoverChat? Posted: 26 Aug 2019 12:53 PM PDT HoverChat simply offered bubble chats that allowed you to respond to texts without leaving your current app, with easy minimizing and expansion. It was perfect but the developer stopped updating it and it looks like it's been removed from the app store. I don't want to settle for fb messenger. Can anyone recommend an alternative? Clipboard manager for Android Q Posted: 26 Aug 2019 03:07 AM PDT Looks like Google is not letting these kind of managers work but some may still do.Please share if you know of a good one working. [link] [comments] |

App for storing different account details Posted: 26 Aug 2019 07:30 AM PDT Hello, I'd like an app for storing all my different insurance policy details in a quick to add, modify and access manner. Maybe things like holiday flights, policy numbers etc. I only need to manage about 10 max but think a notes file may be too messy. Any suggestions? Thank you [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Aug 2019 11:05 AM PDT I keep getting this error...
...in the snapchat app. This happened several times a few months ago with increasing amounts of hours each time. Eventually it just seemed to randomly stop happening. I have no idea what could be causing this. I don't have any third party apps, and I have never actually even been using snapchat when I've gotten the notification that I was blocked. I tried their various support and contact messages/emails and never got a real response. Does anyone have experience with this or suggestions on how to fix it? [link] [comments] |
Alternative Premium App Versions Posted: 26 Aug 2019 10:13 AM PDT Is there a reason that I see so many Android apps with free/starter versions and then alternative paid versions. Or a free version with a companion app that doesn't do anything other than unlock more features in the free one? Is it just a preference on the part of the developer or do they get to keep more of the money from an app purchase than an in app purchase? It's just something I've been wondering. Anybody with thoughts or opinions? [link] [comments] |
Turn off Smart Emoji in Message+ on Android Lollipop Posted: 25 Aug 2019 03:49 PM PDT Just posting this for those that can't find the answer because I found it eventually but none of the posts I saw worked for the phone I was using. (Verizon Droid Turbo w/ Lollipop) Its there just not where other posts say it is. Open Message+ and click the 3 bars in the top left > go to Conversations > turn off Enable Smart Emojis Other options don't work, YMMV, gl! [link] [comments] |
App to reduce noise when videoing Posted: 26 Aug 2019 10:02 AM PDT Hi. I record videos of bands in my local club but due to the volume the bands play at the recorded videos sound always ends up distorted. Is there an app which can reduce the volume levels of the recordings at all please? Thanks. [link] [comments] |

App Recommendation- Looking for an app that acts as a checklist to Google Calender events. Posted: 26 Aug 2019 08:33 AM PDT So I've created a daily routine in my Google Calendar. I want to track them in a checklist manner and visually shows my streak. I need an app that asks if I completed the Calender event just after the event time is over. Is there an app like that or do I have to use any other habit tracker app? [link] [comments] |
Looking for an offline video player like MX player without the internet part/ads. Posted: 26 Aug 2019 08:00 AM PDT Just plain feature rich video player. Have tried VLC, MX, and bunch of others. [link] [comments] |
Is Flud still a viable torrent client? Posted: 26 Aug 2019 04:10 AM PDT I've been searching through recommended torrent client apps in this sub and most suggestions included Flud. I checked the app on Playstore and noticed that it hasn't been updated since September 2, 2017. Is this normal for a torrent app or did the developer drop support for it? I'm concerned about security and functionality issues. [link] [comments] |
REQUEST Checkbook App that has an import file feature (.csv, etc.) Posted: 25 Aug 2019 02:43 PM PDT I'm currently on iOS but am planning on switching back over to AndroidOS soon. My biggest worry is losing all my financial tracking as I have been using an iOS only app to keep track of my expenses for the last few years (Checkbook HD on iOS). I can easily export the data to a .csv file but was wondering if anyone in this sub has recommendations for apps/ways to import the data into an AndroidOS app. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Nine Email (9Folders) Passcode Reuse Posted: 26 Aug 2019 05:04 AM PDT How long does it take before Nine will let you reuse a passcode? Given that I need to enter the code upwards of 30 times a day but need to change it repeatedly, I need to be strategic with code selection. Removing the passcode is not an option, and I assume changing the frequency of expiration also isn't an option. [link] [comments] |
Switching off mobile data automatically Posted: 25 Aug 2019 04:40 PM PDT Is there an app that can turn off mobile data after, say, 2 min of screen off and then automatically turn back on when I turn on the screen? Edit: purpose is to save battery life [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Aug 2019 04:17 AM PDT I saw some sale for Money Lover app (Premium). As a happy user, I am thinking to buy it only if the premium is one time buy. But I can not find any info about this. Do you know if this is a subscription or not? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bookmark.money [link] [comments] |
