[DEV] Duels RPG - Text and turn based RPG for Android - Indie Game Posted: 29 Aug 2019 04:36 AM PDT Hi, Duels RPG is a text and turn based combat RPG with a story driven narrative. It is like a CYOA (Chose your own adventure) with modern RPG elements like item sets, spells, spell schools, talents (perks), crafting and stuff. I publicated the game half year ago and it is going well, I would say people likes it, it has roughly 2 000 reviews with 4.5/5 star rating right now on Google Play Store. Here be some screenshots for teasing: https://imgur.com/gallery/781Npdv If you like RPGs, you should definitely try this game, if you like text RPGs its made for you. I work on this project with passion and love, feel free to write me any time about anything, questions, suggestions, reviews, etc. Link to Google Play Store: Regards, Adam [link] [comments] |
Simple Community or Group or Club app? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 08:31 AM PDT I am a member of two small groups that could utilize a mobile app for organization. Ideally something where an organizer can create a private group and invite people. Only invited people can see the information about the group. The group should have a notice board and calendar at a minimum. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Aug 2019 05:57 AM PDT Amazon recently changed the filtering in their app to match the (awful) mobile site, making it much more difficult to drill down. I'm guessing the app is just an overlay, but just on the off chance, is anyone running an older version with the filters that stay open as you drill down? Or does anyone know of a safe archive where I could try an older version? I don't think it's on APK Mirror. [link] [comments] |
What apps do you recommend that aren't in the Google Play Store? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 04:30 PM PDT Like the title says, I'm looking for what people use and recommend that aren't found in Google's store. One example I can think of is Humble Bundle's app (although I wish they'd actually do more with the app), it's a handy app that you need to download the APK directly from them and install it. Not looking for anything in particular, just wondering what gems I might be missing out there since I really only browse Google's store. [link] [comments] |

Help! Floating keyboard for a broken screen Posted: 29 Aug 2019 09:02 AM PDT I dropped my phone and pretty much the right lower part of my screen is unresponsive. I'm looking for a floating keyboard that would have enter as a send key since I can't use the send button on android messages. Please help! [link] [comments] |
Tablet: Stylus-Handwriting app (University) Posted: 29 Aug 2019 09:56 AM PDT Hi! I´ve been using onenote on my Galaxy Tab S4 for some time and then switched to squid mid semester for my lecture notes (lots of math and sketches). Since Squid wants me to pay a monthly subscription but doesnt get any new (needed) features that would be easy to implement even though users are requesting the same features for a long time now, I am looking for an alternative. Features I am looking for: Stylus support Basic shapes (lines, rectangles, circles) Quick swap between pencils pdf import pdf export easy way to organize multiple notes for multiple courses (folders) Any suggestions or do I really need to make the switch to an ipad? Spark email multiple accounts? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 09:06 AM PDT I used inbox for a long time and it was perfect for me. I've finally gotten sick of Gmail's lack of proper bundling and have gotten around to looking for replacements. Spark seems promising, but I'm running into an issue involving mail being forwarded. I have 2 email accounts. My Gmail and my main personal email (Yahoo, yes I know). I have it setup so my personal forwards to Gmail and in the Gmail app and on gmail.com I can choose which email I send new emails from (as well as select a default). Spark doesn't seem to let me do that. I can receive and view the messages that are sent to my Yahoo account and forwarded to my Gmail, but when I try and respond it comes from my Gmail account. Same goes for new messages. I can only send from Gmail. [link] [comments] |
Is sixaxis removed from play store? Posted: 29 Aug 2019 08:18 AM PDT I can't find it on my library and when I open the link from google the page says item not found. Is it really gone or is this just a server issue? [link] [comments] |
E-mail app that on par or better than k-9 to manage a lot of emails Posted: 29 Aug 2019 05:59 AM PDT I have been a k-9 user as long as I can remember. I was trying to reply to an email and the app crashed because it went out of memory (https://del.dog/igaqinadif.pl). I am having a long conversation with someone and somehow quoting the replies cost a lot of memory I guess. K-9 got a few bugs and I have been living with them for years. I have been searching for a reason for me to move away and I think this is it. Anyone know an alternative that is better or on par with k-9? I have around 20 emails, mostly custom domain and some of them are gmail. Any email app that you feels comfortable with? That is safe to use and working beautifuly? Thanks in advanced! Looking for countdown app recommendations Posted: 29 Aug 2019 09:32 AM PDT Hey guys, my girlfriend has been working abroad for the past few months and she's coming back in September so I thought it'd be cool to set a countdown. I looked at the top play store apps and tried two that looked pretty (this and this) but I was kinda disappointed because they seemed unpolished and just off (not that they were feature rich either). Am I missing the good ones? Are countdown apps not a popular thing anymore maybe? I'm just looking for a nice countdown app with an up-to-date design which is possibly feature rich but that's not the priority. So I decided to ask you guys, which app do you use for counting down to events or tracking how much time has passed since an event? Looking forward to your recommendations. P.S. I do have it in my calendar app, but I want it in the form of a countdown. [link] [comments] |

Best app for extending (NOT mirroring) pc screen to Android? Posted: 28 Aug 2019 11:36 AM PDT I have a tablet (rooted and custom rom) that I want to use as an extended screen next to my regular monitor but not as a mirrored screen. Which is the best app for this? Preferably as lag-free as possible and good picture quality. USB cable or wifi doesn't matter. [link] [comments] |

Looking for a different kind of productivity app Posted: 29 Aug 2019 07:55 AM PDT Lots of apps are available that block your access to a list of apps, and many can set up schedules, have different passwords or timers to turn off, etc. Not what I'm looking for. I want something that watches in the background when I open a certain distracting app (oh Reddit...). After I've been browsing for, say, 10 minutes, it shuts down the app for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes I can open it again. Maybe 5 minutes and 1 minute? I just want something that breaks the "one more click" cycle without completely blocking me out of the app, which encourages me to find workarounds. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
App for sending to and from a simless device Posted: 29 Aug 2019 03:59 AM PDT I have an Amazon Fire 8 device (WiFi only). I am unable to use Xender on it since Xender requires a Hotspot to transfer. The only way to send file here is via WiFi. I am looking for a free app that can allow me send large files between android devices via WiFi. Pls help [link] [comments] |
