Samsung should implement an equivalent to Apple's airdrop

    Posted: 16 May 2019 06:25 AM PDT

This is probably the only thing that I've found Apple does better, and this one has been bugging me for a while. Whenever I want to transfer files between devices, I have to go through this rollercoaster ride through Google drive, emails, drop box, not having enough drop box storage, etc.

Samsung have made improvements to the Galaxy Fold

    Posted: 16 May 2019 08:25 AM PDT

I get this lockscreen pop immediately after viewing the original one after unlocking the phone. I also get random video advertisements every now and then throughout the UI

Does anybody know how to fix this? (This thing only happens on Samsung so I'm pretty sure it's more than vaguely related to Samsung)

    J5 not booting up

    Posted: 16 May 2019 07:00 AM PDT

First it started right into Odin Mode. After holding Volume Down and Power to exit it, the screen went black (as expected). However, afterwards it won't boot up again. Tried normal boot, recovery and download. Removed the battery and put it again, didn't work. Also tried various cables and outlets. Tried the sequence for download mode (holding Power + Volume Down + Home, then pressing Volume Up - even if it didn't show anything on screen) and connected it to my PC. The computer played the sound as if a device was connected, then after some seconds Windows said that the USB device was not recognized. Odin did not recognize it either. Samsung 300K tool doesn't work as well. USB Jig does nothing.

How to restore dark theme in samsung music app on s5?

    Posted: 16 May 2019 06:57 AM PDT

My samsung music app is suddenly blindingly white and I can't find the option to change it back. Can anyone help please?

I don't know if it's just me but we seem to always be taking steps backwards with technology, it's bizarre.

One side of buds won't turn on

    Posted: 16 May 2019 06:56 AM PDT

I happened to me before, got back to normal, and I'm now two days without my right bud.

No beep sound when I touch the button Case shows right bud battery is good I can't reset or update software as the rghtside is not connected to my phone.

Does anyone have a similar experience? I'd appreciate any help I can get on this.

How to cast an Android 5.1.1 device to Windows 10?

    Posted: 16 May 2019 06:50 AM PDT

I've got an old Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) SM-T280

I'm looking for a way to cast to a Windows 10 computer but this version of Android does not have the casting option in the display settings so how can this possibly be done?

    S10 vs OnePlus 7 pro

    Posted: 16 May 2019 12:07 AM PDT

Which of these phones is better. Just straight better, not value, price isn't a factor. The 90hz screen on the 7pro seems really amazing, as well as the speed, (I would get the 12gb model for it). And the no cutout is great, but I'm not too much of a fan of the pop up camera, but it's alright. Honestly, I prefer the fingerprint technology on the S10, with ultrasonic, because it can be used through water, and also you don't have to wake the screen to use it. Not having a ip68 rating kinda bothers me, but I think I trust OnePlus enough. No wireless charging isn't that much of a loss for me, but in planning on buying the galaxy buds so the reverse wireless charging will be useful. I don't really need good cameras, but having them is a plus for the S10. So which is just a better phone? I might have to just get the S10, because I like having a phone that is actually pocketable, and the OP7 pro is kinda giant, need to try it in a store

    Card removed from Samsung pay

    Posted: 16 May 2019 05:09 AM PDT

I woke up this morning to a few emails from almost all of my credit cards stating that they were removed from Samsung Pay, which I didn't do because I was sleeping. When I check my phone and my watch, all my cards were still there. Was this just a mistake or what? Did anyone else have this happen?
