    • Total budget and country of purchase: Willing to spend $800, but I am mainly trying to figure out if that's worth it for my needs. USA

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. I'm all about the price-to-performance ratio but I'm open to anything

    • How important is weight and thinness to you? I will be carrying it everywhere for the next three years so it has some importance

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Windows

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 13"

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? I have a desktop for gaming and I play CSGO. I don't want this to factor in too much as this is for school, but I would like to be able to play if I wanted to.

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? N/A

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I am going to school for physical therapy. I will have unlimited cloud storage via google drive.

    • I feel like for my needs I can't justify paying more than $500-600. I really just need a machine that I can study on, watch twitch/youtube, and play some surf/kz on CSGO when I need a break from studying. Thanks!

So basically, for Programming a wide, good processing laptop. What do you suggest?

Just enough Usb ports for hardware such as audio interface and midi controllers * Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I run a lot of midi information, so that's the most important part.

Laptop under $2K for Film Production Management Work - USA

    Posted: 14 May 2019 07:46 PM PDT

    Hi all,

I'm transitioning from a full-time to a freelance job soon, and looking to get a laptop. I currently use iMac with a second monitor at work, and there are times where I need to borrow my co-worker's Windows laptop to do certain tasks that I otherwise cannot do on MacOS (looking at you, Office 365 for Mac). I do have a personal laptop, but it's a Chromebook, and I will need a more complete OS when I go freelancing.

I am familiar with both Windows and Mac OS, and have used both for decades (and have used Ubuntu before). I am not into Apple's "ecosystem" and don't use any of their software (I'm also an Android user), but I do appreciate Mac OS's simplicity and its Terminal and Automator.

    • Total budget and country of purchase: I'd say under $2,000 (in case I need to go with Macbook Pro) but I would love it if I can save a bit and get something decent under $1,5000. I'm in the USA.

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Battery life is a priority. I rarely use the 2-in-1 form factor in my current Chromebook. As for specs, I'd consider spending a bit more in case I need to render/transcode video files, or do some Lightroom/Photoshop work. Not planning on gaming or watching content on it.

    • How important is weight and thinness to you? Very important. I need to be mobile and will be using it on planes and film sets/stages a lot.

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. I am good with either Windows or Mac OS. But here's where it gets complicated. In my full-time job where 90% of my work is within Office 365 environment (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.), I always wished that I had a Windows machine, as Office on Windows is more feature rich: Excel's Power Pivot and ability to link to SharePoint Lists seamlessly, Desktop Power BI, etc. Yes, I could install Windows on my iMac, but it won't be supported by our IT team. On the other hand, the film industry is very much biased towards Mac OS. Most tools and applications are available for both, and in fact most film finishing houses actually run Linux. But there are some (few) developers who only develop solutions for Mac OS/iOS. Some hardware (RAID controllers) are only supported on Mac OS. Until recently, one wouldn't be able to export ProRes on Windows without workarounds, etc. I think if I went with Windows, I would probably be fine, but I'm still conflicted. Also, I don't think I'll be doing any heavy Office work when freelancing (i.e. no SharePoint integration, no Power Pivot tables, etc.)

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. N/A, but I think most 15" laptops I've seen are too big for work on airplanes. I could be wrong.

    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite if needed (Media Encoder, Photoshop, Lightroom), Movie Magic Budgeting, cloud collaboration applications, like Box, OneDrive, PIX System, ShotGun, CineSync (emphasis on multi-user collaboration), TBD calendar application, TBD project management application (both are probably going to be web-based).

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? N/A

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Good keyboard and touchpad, as well as a good build quality are important. I am probably going to have an external monitor and peripherals setup in my office for more involved work, but I'll be on the move a lot. Touch screen is a plus. Anti-glare is a plus. HDR/high contrast ratio is a plus, but I don't think I need a UHD or 4K display on such a small screen. Thunderbolt 3 is required at this point (most external drives are either USB 3.1 or TB3). USB-C and USB-A are preferable. HDMI port is preferable but not a deal-breaker. Would love a full SD card slot, but again not a deal-breaker.

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. A clean, simple yet functional design is preferable. Not a fan of cosmetic bells-and-whistles.

Sorry for my long post! And thank you!

    Amateur Gamer/Graphic Designer

    Posted: 15 May 2019 12:02 AM PDT

    • Total budget and country of purchase: $900 (max), USA.

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Prefer best specs for the $$, but a good battery life is also great. 2 in 1 would be nice, but not necessary.

    • How important is weight and thinness to you? Fairly important. Most likely traveling with it.

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Windows

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Prefer a larger-ish laptop, around 13" or more. Nothing too large.

    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Occasional AutoCAD use, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and a majority gaming.

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Minecraft and similar games. No specifics for FPS or settings, just smooth graphics and timing.

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Reliable build quality is a must, due to traveling. Finger print reader and touch screen would be nice, but not necessary.

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Would prefer a sleeker more modern looking laptop. Nothing too bulky or screams "I'M A GAMER"

Looking for some help choosing a laptop after 8 years. Big question is between 1070 vs 2060. Couple of options posted would love advice. (X-post Nvidia)

    Posted: 15 May 2019 03:37 AM PDT

Hey guys im looking to buy a laptop after about 8 years with my old laptop which has a gt 770m i believe.

Ive been looking through all the reviews everywhere and the laptops that seem to be most recommended are

Lenovo Legion Y740-15 with the 2060 RTX Asus Zephyrus S or the Strix Scar 2 with the GTX 1070

Looking for some opinions on how these cards perform in comparison to each other and more importantly how these laptops perform under load with heat etc.

Im probably not going to upgrade for another 4 years (knock on wood) but i dont play any intensive games currently mostly MOBA's (dota 2) but i might pick something up in the future.

Ability to use VR would be a plus but im not sure if i can expect VR handling in a laptop at a $1500 budget.

It has i5-8300h, GTX 1050ti, 256gb SSD and 8gb ram. Is it a good deal? My laptop choice is very limited, usually from UK Amazon shipping is +150€.

I want to get into computer gaming

    Posted: 14 May 2019 08:55 AM PDT

Hello everyone! I am looking into buying a gaming laptop for the first time ever. I want a laptop because my job requires me to travel frequently. I am looking at MSI and Asus, and would like to get the best bang for my buck. My budget is around $1500 ideally but if I need to spend up to $2000 I probably could make it happen. I do not know much yet but have been learning quite a bit since I started looking.

    I have looked at: msi g65 stealth thin-051 15.6" 1060 16gb 256ssd 144hz $1575 Asus ROG Zephyrus s ultra slim 15.6" 1070 16gb 512ssd 144hz $1550 Asus ROG strix scar II edition 15.6" 2070 16gb 512ssd 144hz $1800

Need a 17" laptop for home use, streaming, WoW-USA-$1300

    Posted: 14 May 2019 09:24 PM PDT

    • Total budget and country of purchase: $1300, not including extended warranty

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Best specs for the money. It'll be plugged in most of the time. Don't want a 2 in 1.

    • How important is weight and thinness to you? I'd like to keep it under 6.5 lbs. Thinness not important.

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Windows

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 17"-17.3"

    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Light photo editing with Corel, gaming, Office (Word, Excel)

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Main game is WoW, high setting

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? I'm replacing an Acer Aspire Vi7 Nitro w/16GB ram, GEForce GTX860--plastic back is breaking, getting glitchy after 4.5 years. I'm looking for good graphics & speed, a backlit keyboard with a good feel, durable to travel 1-2 a week, not fragile. What I don't want is something like a Lenovo Ideapad w/Intel Core i5 & 8GB RAM-have access to that and don't like it-slow to do everything, lagged at times. Don't need optical drive or touchscreen. Would like plenty of USB ports, and durable earphone and power jacks.

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

I'm looking at an ASUS - TUF Gaming FX705GM 17.3" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 512GB Solid State Drive but I'm hearing problems with heat after extended use and it's edging over my budget.

Looking for a new portable setup

    Posted: 14 May 2019 11:34 PM PDT

    • Total budget and country of purchase: I'm planing to purchase in the US, and will be using a budget of around $500 to $800 (maybe a tad more).
    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? I'd rather have the best specifications for the money, although a decent battery life would be nice.
    • How important is weight and thinness to you? Not too much. It's important to me for it to be able to be carried in a backpack though.
    • Which OS do you require? Windows would be fine. The possibility of Linux could also be useful.
    • Preferred screen sizes: between 14'' to 16'' would be ideal
    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run: I typically use Discord, Photoshop, Sony Vegas (and Premiere rarely). However, my top priority is being able to run relatively busy Ableton sessions somewhat smoothly, and the occasional game. Also I'll probably be needing Visual Studio.
    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? I'm not too picky when it comes to FPS, but as long as my games run smoothly it's fine. Also, I typically play old games such as Age of Empires II, maybe some emulation, and newer games although none come to mind right now.
    • Any specific requirements? Not really, although I would need a couple of USB ports. Upgrade-able storage and memory would also be nice.
    • My current setup is a 2011 Mac with 12GB Ram. I mostly use it for school and music and video production with the occasional game. I'm a Computer Science major, and soon I won't be able to access my Mac. However, I would like to have a laptop I could take with me and move around, but still able to be used for school, and powerful enough so I don't feel too limited as compared to how I use my current setup.

Looking for a reliable laptop with decent specs and a good battery. 15", USA, $1,300 USD.

    Posted: 14 May 2019 11:06 PM PDT

    • Total budget and country of purchase: $1,300, United States

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Definitely not looking for a 2in1. Battery life over specs.

    • How important is weight and thinness to you? Doesn't need to be crazy thin, but I would rather avoid a super thick build.

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Windows

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 15"

    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Some light video editing/audio and gaming. Davinci, audacity, modern games.

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? I would like to be able to play modern games, but I am fine lowering settings to medium as long as I can get around 60fps.

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Build quality is very important. No touch screen needed. Good keyboard is always nice.

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Basically I am looking for something that I can carry around fairly easily as I am going to be traveling alot soon. I need something that I can throw a fair amount of tasks at and not worry about it not being able to handle them. I also want to be able to game, but that is secondary. If possible, biodegradability is a plus. I want to be able to use this for quite a few years. Thanks for any input!

Buying a laptop for the first time in over 8 years, some questions

    Posted: 14 May 2019 08:15 PM PDT

Hey all, thanks for taking the time to read. My last laptop was a MacBook Air 2011, but I gave it to my brother as I joined the military and didn't have much time for it due to deployments and traveling, and told myself I would eventually get a new one when I had some time. I never really saw the need for it while I was in, but now that I'm out and have some money saved up I want to finally buy a nice laptop for myself.

I really want a MacBook, as most of my stuff is apple and thats the operating system I'm most familiar with. However, I really want to game a little bit on it, and I've looked into downloading Steam (never used before, but looks really cool) and an old favorite of mine, Diablo 2. I also need it for just casual matters as well though, and don't necessarily need any specific program for my job. I'm not really looking to hardcore game, just download a few games off Steam and casually play. Would getting a brand new Mac be a good idea? From what I understand, Mac can run Steam but there's only specific games you can get for it. And with installing Diablo 2, I've read it's possible but it's just a different installation than on a Windows OS.

Anyways, thanks for reading and I appreciate any feedback I can get. If anyone out there has experience with gaming on Macs or the new Macs in general, that'd be awesome. I've really been out of the loop these last few years.

I'll have around a $2000 budget and I'm located in the US. I won't need any programs like CAD or do any coding, just manly for my own use and some gaming.

Artist looking for a cheap laptop

    Posted: 15 May 2019 01:57 AM PDT

Hello! Sorry if I make mistakes with English, I'm not fluent.

I'm looking for a 2 in 1 laptop to draw easily with a pen with a very very low budget. I only need to use Paint Tool Sai to draw, I don't really need photoshop, the only thing that I need is that I can draw in a good way. Is it better to go for a tablet instead of a 2-in-1? My budget is around 300 - 450 €, pen included.

I do not have a laptop and I need it to travel, so don't propose non screen wacom graphic tablet, I worked with those for years and now I can't do it anymore. I'm currently using a gaomon tablet with screen when I'm home and I love the feel to draw directly on the screen.

    Is it possibile to find something acceptable for that price? Do not need the top quality laptop / tablet ; ;

    Thanks for your time!

I need a laptop for college but still want to play games

    Posted: 14 May 2019 07:51 PM PDT

    * **Total budget and country of purchase:** Maximum 900 USD, USA.

    * **Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply.** Best specifications for money is most important, but good battery life would be appreciated.

    * **How important is weight and thinness to you?** Moderately, I would need to carry it around campus.

    * **Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux.** Windows

    * **Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.** N/A

    * **Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.** Gaming

    * **If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?** I want to run Witcher 3 and XCOM 2 as the most intensive games. I don't need pretty graphics, I play on low for performance all games anyway, I just want a smooth framerate.

    * **Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?** Reliable/sturdy build would be preferred.

    * **Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.** While I do want to game, I can sacrifice it to an extent. The laptop needs to be good for general use and travel, gaming is a preference but can ultimately be sacrificed. Additionally, cheaper is better.

Academic functionnality - League of Legends on 90 fps

    Posted: 15 May 2019 01:16 AM PDT

    • Total budget and country of purchase: 400- 700 I'm willing to spend up to 700 € if it's really worth it but if there's an item that meets my requirement for less i'll take it. France
    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Good battery life, and ideally the cheapest that meets the requirements
    • How important is weight and thinness to you? Not really important, i'm used to lifting heavy bags

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. N/A
    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run: I was entertaining playing around with Fruity loops for music making, but if that's a consideration that bumps the price too much i'm happy to pass on it.
    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Only League of legends and Hearthstone, ideally i'd like to play League at around 90 fps on mid settings and maybe things like overwatch on low.
    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? N/A
    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I'm preparing an important exam that's in 5 months and i irreparably broke my old computer but i managed to salvage my SSD.
    • My main needs in descending order are academic functionnality, possibility to play the games i do in a decent setting and some autonomy but i can pass on the autonomy. Music production would be cherry on top.
    • My max usage of any laptop in the past would've been playing league, while listening to music on spotify, and having some internet tabs open.
    • Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for the advice!

Mid range laptop for light gaming and use

    Posted: 15 May 2019 12:57 AM PDT

Total Budget and Country of Purpose- $900-1200 CAD and Canada

Do you prefer 2 in 1 form Factor, good Battery life or best specifications for the money? I've been using an MSI for the past 6 years that lasts all about 2 hours. So I'm prioritizing specs over battery for sure as I'm use to having the charger in 24/7 anyways. Does not need to be a 2 in 1.

How important is weight and thinness to you? Pretty important, my MSI was 6LBs and all plastic, so I'm over the clunky and big laptop days. I'm looking for a modern clean and light look no more than 4.5lbs

    Screen size preference? 13-15

Do you game, edit? List preferred settings and FPS: Mainly going to be used to study for my CFA/ general emails, twitch, Netflix, browsing. However, I'd still like to occasionally game for hearthstone( I know a potato can run hearthstone) CSGO, league, and fortnite. On at least medium settings 50-60FPS. I think I would want at least an MX150.

Specific requirements such as fingerprint reader? Touch screen, build quality, good input, good keyboard, battery life? Build quality, and laptop sustainability would be my number one requirement. Finger print, backlit keyboard, touch screens would be nice. good inputs would be next.

Any finishing thoughts here. Yeah, like I said I've had an MSI for the last 6 years, so I'm over the 2 hour battery, loud ass fans, and clunky and heavy laptop. I would like a solid build (Aluminum) a clean look to it, so a good screen to body ratio. And at least an MX150. I would like it to not overheat, or have loud fans, but also boot up and just daily browse quickly, so typically an i5 or i7.

Doing my own research I think the Matebook D 15 checks off most of my requirements. As it's a nice clean look, aluminum build, and has an MX150 with good processors. However, it does not have fingerprint, touchscreen or a backlit keyboard (The intel version).

I may be getting greedy asking for a fingerprint touchscreen and backlit in my budget range though. But if your suggestion has any of those, would be a bonus. The Matebook 13 i7 MX150, would be ideal, but it's slightly out of the budget range.

I'm a little worried about the service in Canada with huawei products. However, I am open minded to potential dell, asus, levono, products, as long as they are not clunky and loud.

Let me know what you guys come up with. Thanks

Are Dell Precision and Lenovo ThinkPad P Series Notebooks are as equally good (overall build quality/less likely for repairs) as Apple Notebooks?

    Posted: 14 May 2019 08:43 PM PDT

I currently have a 2015 MacBook Air that has no problems whatsoever and need a new PC since I am going to be a 2 year transfer for undergrad school. Programs that I'm likely to be running are Esri ArcGIS Pro/Desktop and Autocad Revit. I could get a MacBook Pro 15 inch with Boot Camp since I already have a Windows 10 Pro retail copy at home. I am looking at either Precision 5530 or the Lenovo P1. Remember, that I am walking around campus and my backpack will probably be carrying many books as well as my computer.

College student from USA looking for a high-end laptop

    Posted: 14 May 2019 06:23 PM PDT

    • Total budget and country of purchase: Up to $2600, USA

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Best specs, but see specific requirements below.

    • How important is weight and thinness to you? Moderately important

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Any would work

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. I prefer 15 inch (though it's not a dealbreaker)

    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Nothing intensive, just basic student programs like Evernote

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? N/A

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? I absolutely need a good keyboard as I'll be doing a lot of typing. Build quality is important too because I probably won't have the budget to buy a laptop like this for a while. A touch-screen would be useful but it's not really necessary for my major (Math/CS).

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I'm covered by a scholarship, so price doesn't matter as long as it's within the budget.

    Thanks in advance!

Need recommendation on casual gaming laptop

    Posted: 14 May 2019 08:30 PM PDT

Howdy folks. I'm an online student and my family is moving to another country, and I can't exactly haul my desktop tower with me. So I figure it's time to purchase a new laptop. I'm looking for something that can handle video games (otherwise I'd just buy a laptop for 500 dollars from Costco), but nothing hardcore. Here's my filled out form:

    • Total budget and country of purchase:

My budget is around $900 or (preferably) less. I'm going to buy it in the U.S.

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply.

2-in-1 would be real nice, but I know that isn't always the case for my relatively low budget. If I had to choose, I would prefer better specifications over battery life, if anything I'll buy a large portable power pack.

    • How important is weight and thinness to you?

Weight and thinness isn't very important to me, however, a big factor for me is how much it screams "epic gamer". I would prefer not to have flashy lights and bizarre patterns. The more casual and vanilla the look, the better.

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux.

I require Windows, 10 or 7 obviously. (Do they even release computers with W7 anymore?)

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

    N/A

    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

Probably the most intensive activity I'll be doing on this laptop is gaming. I'll elaborate in the next point.

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

The two most graphically intensive games I play are XCOM 2 and Warframe (the others can be played even on a potato PC). I'll be satisfied if I can run them on low settings with 45 fps, but medium settings with higher fps would be a nice bonus of course. XCOM 2 is notorious for being poorly optimized so I'll accept 30 fps on lowest graphics and lowest resolution. Bottom line is, I'm not too picky.

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

It would be nice if the laptop had a good variety of ports, specifically a few USB-A ports, HDMI port, 3.5mm audio jack, and LAN port. But if it doesn't include one or more of those ports, not the end of the world.

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

Razer blade stealth issues and other comparable laptops

    Posted: 14 May 2019 07:39 PM PDT

Hi all, Back in september 2018 i bought a new Razer blade stealth. A few days ago i suspect that the motherboard died. I was wondering if any of you have/had a stealth, and if it has given any issues to you. It is under manufature warranty, and it is getting fixed. I am just curious if others have similar issues. My second question: is there a gaming laptop or professional grade laptop that any of you could reccomend. The price would be around 2,000.
