    ThirdMiracle: New buy-to-own SRPG

    Posted: 13 May 2019 07:50 AM PDT

Amazingly, Google Play actually suggested to me a premium SRPG that has a tiny amount of downloads. That's pretty much the first time Google offers me something like that and since it's very relevant to my interests, I bought a copy. I have only a very limited amount of playtime with it so far, but I figured it could get a bit of visibility so here's my very early thoughts about it. Here's the link:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ryuminus.srpg

Free roaming: In certain areas like cities, you can free-roam ala Shining Force to talk to villagers, find chests, etc.

Super-smooth visuals and speedy flow: It's a 3d SRPG, but the animations are buttery-smooth. The visuals are actually pretty decent for a game of this genre. It also plays very well on a phone (most 3d mobile SRPGs I played have some interface issues at phone-size). Enemy turn goes by exceedingly fast, and animations are short but pretty decent.

Free-form unusual battle system: Each turn, every character can do an attack, a special move and move multiple time (movement points allowing). Nothing needs to be done in order, and you can even switch characters midway. So for example, you can do something like this in one turn with just two characters:

Move Coco one space, do an attack with Coco (which in her case teleport her next to the enemy), attack with Aron, move Aron 4 steps away, throw a bomb with Coco, move Coco away 4 spaces, end player turn.

Bad English: So far, I've always understood what is being said and the abilities descriptions are fine, but... The game has obviously been Google Translated. You understand the meaning, but it's not pleasant to read and most jokes are going to fall very flat.

Questionable balance: I'm still very early, but so far the game is extremely easy due to Aron being so much stronger than the enemies. Ignoring the "tutorial" fight with a full high level party, Aron starts at level 20 and he barely takes damage from anything. Coco starts at 12 and dies in a few hits (she does have amazing hit-and-run capabilities though) so she feels balanced as does still unamed scythe girl, but Aron is an issue. Levels go up surprisingly fast too; I don't know if it will slow down later, or 99 is not the cap, or if the game is very short. It did feature two Escape levels so far though, so mission variety does exist to some extent.

TLDR: ThirdMiracle is pretty unique in the mobile SRPG space, is cheap, buy-to-own with absolutely zero in-game purchases or "need-to-logon" nonsense. The presentation impresses me quite a bit and the battle system is fun to play with, but the English is pretty bad. I have some concerns with the balance, but I'm still very early so I can't confirm if that will be a problem throughout. All in all, I doubt it's going to be an amazing game, but I'm pretty sure I'll be getting my money's worth with this one. Might be the same for you too! I'll probably do an actual review once I'm finished with the game.

I'm looking for some suggestions to kill time while waiting for loading screens on the PC/console. Preferably portrait mode and loading fast. Fun is mandatory! :)

The Felon [Action game with an open world]

    https://i.redd.it/o1a3yicy80y21.png

Hey hello everyone! I finally released my game. Of course, the work on it is still in full swing, and I want to add a lot more and is not interesting, but already you can join and try. I develop it completely alone.

I am greatly inspired by the idea of creating the world. I want to make the game lively and smart. I did not mind the reviews and advice. I want to add many new features to the game:

    - factories

    - banks

    - police station

    - prison

    - even more work (now you can be a taxi driver)

    - Online mode and property ownership!

and much more. I collect the opinions of players, as I develop a game for people.

How to stop sweating on thumb when playing mobile games?

    Posted: 13 May 2019 05:40 PM PDT

It's really troublesome when my thumb starts to sweat when playing, the screen will become unresponsive or when i tap with two fingers, it becomes a slide instead or ghost touches. Quite annoying when playing games and especially so in rhythm games.

Anyone else playing Rush Rally 3 think a subreddit would be helpful?

    Posted: 13 May 2019 11:15 AM PDT

If there's already one being used, I apologize, and please point me there.

I think it would be nice to have a subreddit to discuss gameplay and updates. I don't really have time to moderate, but I would contribute.

I have an LG G8 Thinq. Why can’t I download Asphalt 9 from the playstore?

    Posted: 13 May 2019 09:40 AM PDT

So I recently upgraded to the LG G8 (love everything about it except the google button) and I've been putting this thing through it's paces. Every seems to run great from old school endless runners like temple run, to the newer games like fortnite and pubg. So I wanted to check out asphalt 9 because, Why not? And there was a problem. I couldn't find it in the playstore and when I visit the playstore from my browser it says that it's not compatible with my phone. Welp what ever I'm not that new and I go to sideload it and I get messages that I need the latest version to run it. Won't auto update. Then I go the shadier route and torrent the apk and obb and used a vpn to locate myself in the originating country and I still get problems(not the latest ver.). I don't really know what to do? Do I really need to send gameloft an email and ask them why asphalt 9 isn't compatible with a current year flagship device on the latest snapdragon processor? Or is there some something I need to change in my settings? I don't really know what to do since my last phone was old as shit and all I would do on it was play 8-ball poll and other random graphically less intense games.

I'm so bored of these P2W cash grab mmo's...is there anything decent?

    Posted: 13 May 2019 02:12 AM PDT

I'm from EU and I actually got quite a really good phone to play games and such but I just can't get my head round anything....everything is just either auto-play or just straight up pay to win....

Unless I missed something are there any online fun games? Especially MMO's if possible.....

Looking for good recommendations on mobile controllers

    Posted: 13 May 2019 01:34 PM PDT

Hey folks what's up, I've been searching for a controller I can use with phone, I really like models like ipega red knight, wee 2, that give sort of a psp/Vita feel, but apparently there's an issue with deadzones on both controllers. Since I play mostly racing games (usually through parsec), accuracy is a must, and preferably not a noisy controller as well. Any recommendations?
