| Google’s SMS/Call Log restrictions –possible “work around” for auto reply apps Posted: 03 Apr 2019 09:48 AM PDT With the latest Google's SMS/Call Log restrictions, all SMS autoresponders (auto reply apps) were removed from the Play store on March 9, 2019. Even although Tasker as a "Task Automation" apps was exempted from these restrictions, all our attempts to go on this case were rejected. (we had 17 different auto reply apps) "You may only request permissions that are necessary to implement critical current features or services in your application" Unlike Tasker for our apps this is CORE functionality and not additional service and anyway it was rejected Are somebody have different experience with Google? Anyway, we see no other ways except server side service, distribution outside of Google Play and finally using Android notification API (but it will only work with apps (messengers) that support reply in their notification.) In addition, it will not work with phone calls. We have started with Auto Reply for WhatsApp app with more than 20 different features https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lemi.autoreplyforwamessage automatic reply with text message to incoming WhatsApp messages when you are busy, away, in a meeting, in school, on vacation, on leave, out of office. And also while you are driving, watching a movie, sleeping, or just when you would prefer not to be disturbed. It allowed you to basically take a still image and apply motion to it, like make a waterfall move or things like that. Does anyone know what the app is, or one that can do the same thing? Thank you! | Posted: 03 Apr 2019 07:35 AM PDT I've been waiting to have a good ad block in my browser and tried Yandex extensions. AdGaurd, Adblock and uBlock extensions from the chrome web store returns a compatibility error. I tried this on desktop mode as well. I'm trying to migrate from my old sony phone to a blackberry dtek50 and if you don't know, it's literally impossible to root that phone whatsoever because of all the security blackberry's thrown into it, so titanium backup or anything else that requires root is literally, irrevocably out of question. | Texting app for verification on Ticketmaster? Posted: 03 Apr 2019 08:05 AM PDT There a few concerts I am looking to attend this summer and I was hoping to get the best seats possible. To try and get them at face value I wanted to create a few ticket master accounts and have my computers, tablets and cell phone logged in to try and grab the seats the minute they are released. The only issue is that ticketmaster needs a text verification for all new accounts, and I've tried google voice and my work VoIP number both come back saying "the number you are trying to use is not supported". Seems they can tell its not a "legit cellphone " number. Don't know if its even possible, but before I went to my local wallymart and picked up a few burner phones I wanted to see if anyone knows an app that could be used as a go around.
