Will OnePlus officially support black notifications header and black notifications panel any time soon?

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 04:42 PM PST

The white notifications and the dark grey notifications panel feel off to the dark mode. What's the easiest way to achieve true dark mode at those elements?

    LineageOS or OxygenOS

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 04:25 AM PST

I have had OP6 for quite a while, and I am pretty content with OxygenOS, but lately I am also quite interested in trying out LineageOS, and privacy stuff there sounds really nice, but... I am not really sure if it is worth, especially that I have never flashed any custom ROM before..
I am sincerely sorry if it is not a proper place for such post.

Is the Oneplus 6T's official tempered glass good ?

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 03:30 PM PST

So I've been using the 6T for a few months now and I found out recently that the default screen protector has been having some scratches on it... I was wondering if the official 6T tempered glass is any good to replace the default screen protector ? Is there any major problems that came with the tempered glass ?

Changing country code on my oneplus 6t

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 02:57 PM PST

I would like to change my country code to Lebanon to use a specific app that only works in the Middle East. There's no country setting in settings, that I could find at least, and none of the VPN or country changing apps work. I downloaded the app Settings Database Editor and I saw the row "op_default_country_code" and the value is "United States;+1". I also found a row that says "op_country_code_is_suggested" and the value "1" next to it.

I don't want to accidentally screw things up, but would changing these work? And what exactly should I change them to? Also is there another thing that maybe I haven't thought of that could work? I have an American SIM and I am in the US btw.

    Thank you!

Silent-Vibrate-Ring; Or 'How to miss all your notifications after pulling your phone out of your pants once'.

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 12:19 PM PST

So on my 5T the slider catches on my jeans pocket and turns to silent when I pull it out of my pocket. I then miss all notifications. Vibrate-Silent-Ring, now after experiencing the latter, was a much better configuration from a practicality standpoint.

Potential issue with OP5 on pie

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 05:30 AM PST

It seems that the aggressive ram management in pie is shutting down the stock audio equalizer. When listening to music, I notice the overall quality is a bit worse than usual, go into audio settings, tap the equalizer and suddenly its back to normal. Anyone has had this issue?

Do we have any idea of what the Oneplus 7 will cost? Don't know if I should get the 6T now or wait.

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 02:18 AM PST

Hello i'm currently using a really cracked and old Samsung S6 with terrible battery. Looking for a new phone, however I don't know if I should wait for the 7. Will the 7 cost alot more than 6T or will they be similar in price?

(General Discussion) Safest way to update my 5T?

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 10:35 AM PST

Hello everyone, I got a pretty straight forward question I was unable to find an answer using the search bar.

I got the update to Android Pie on my 5T hanging for a while and decided to update, what is the most stable way to do so?

Should I go into recovery, wipe everything and transfer the file into the internal memory and update my 5T or can I straight update from the System Update and just Wipe Cache in recovery after it?

    Thanks in advance.

    One plus 6t or 7

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 06:14 AM PST

I've been waiting months to upgrade to a new phone . Still using the ONO it's working ok but I'm change. I'm not in any major rush but I would like something new. Should I hold off for the 7 or get the 6t . I just use the phone for general use nothing too heavy. Also if I'm going for the 6t is there any major difference in the 6gb Vs the 8gb? Thanks

    OP5 won't update

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 08:19 AM PST

So I've been getting a persistent notification about the latest update for my OP5 for a while now. However, when I try to install it, something goes wrong and the phone ends up rebooting normally before giving me an error message. I tried downloading and upgrading locally through the recovery, and that didn't do anything either. Does anyone know what might be happening? Thanks!

Do you think the camera on OP7 will be much better

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 06:39 AM PST

I want a oneplus but I want a much better camera also. Now I have a mate 10 pro and I hate the front camera, it's so bad. I like the camera of the iPhones.

So do you think we will get a really good camera with good software ? Or should I buy the S10 plus (yeah money is not the problem but if I get something better than why not oneplus ) I love the oxygen os so this is the reason for oneplus.

Digital Wellbeing & Wind down not working

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 06:33 AM PST

Got Google Digital Wellbeing installed and working ok but not the Wind down. I have OP5 (9.0.3) non-rooted. Anything extra steps to get Wind down working on a non-rooted phone?

    Appreciated.

Changing Bluetooth codecs to Aptx doesn't stick!

    Posted: 03 Mar 2019 06:21 AM PST

    I have OP5 running latest OOS 9.0.4

When I change the Bluetooth codecs to Aptx and leave the Developer Options, I come back to find it changed back to SBC!!

Same thing happening with different speakers/car systems. It's just like I can't get Aptx nor any codec to work other than SBC!.

Changed the ROM yesterday to Lineage OS 16. Same issue exactly.

    Anyone else having this issue??
