Wifi Stops Working Once An online steam game is launched Posted: 05 Feb 2019 05:16 PM PST It's extremely weird but my internet work's perfectly fine, but as soon as I launch rocket league and attempt to play it online then it just "cuts out". To the point where I can't even load a google page and it remains this way until I restart. Then if I restart my pc the wifi is perfectly fine again. I want to play rocket league online, I don't know why a steam game would cause the wifi connection to stop working for my whole pc. FYI, I have a labtop and sat it in the exact same spot as my PC and it can rocket league and steam games perfectly fine without the connection cutting out. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Feb 2019 02:50 PM PST Hi Guys, Don't know if this has come up before but had a scroll through and couldn't find anything. I have an app with the above name and due to an iOS upgrade it gives the error message 'developer needs to update this app' now I've tried to contact the developer and as have a lot of people judging by the comments on their page, but to no avail, how do I get this data back? Any suggestions would be amazing! TIA [link] [comments] |
Random HDD I/O failures on boot Posted: 05 Feb 2019 05:44 PM PST Yesterday my PC started to display BSOD on boot, then BIOS stopped detecting hard drive. After several unsuccessful attempts, Windows surprisingly booted and the computer worked the same way as before with no issues. After two successful boots (each required 4-5 hard resets) windows stopped loading correctly, showing various errors, such as:
I tried to reinstall Windows from USB drive, but installation obviously failed. I booted LiveCD and ran HDD blocks test. After 10 mins HDD suddenly disappeared from "My Computer". Testing software (Victoria) indicated T0NF on one block and ABRT on all following blocks. Then I connected another HDD and Windows USB storage. Initially Windows setup failed to detect hard drive, but I used MBR fix and successfully ran installation. After installation finished, PC started to do the same pattern. This time errors were more specific: Unexpected I/O error 0xc00000e9 Your PC/Device needs to be repaired File: boot\BCD 0xc000014c The data on the HDD seems to be intact (except for system files that now may be corrupted). Two successful Windows boots after early failures may indicate that problem evolved gradually. I used different HDDs and SATA cables with no results. I suspect that the reason may be in the motherboard, SATA controller or power supply (they are quite old). How can I figure out what's wrong? Where to start? PC is able to boot from the LiveCD and USB, so apparently, DVD/USB works fine or at least better than HDD.
