Posted: 01 Feb 2019 03:13 AM PST Quite a long time ago HTC announced that the HTC Desire would get Gingerbread a period of silence followed and then the news that the Desire would not get the update due to system issues mainly partitions not being the right size if I remember correctly. Reason for the trip down memory lane? I emailed HTC Support asking about if the u11 will be getting Android Pie and this is the response:
*cough cough* https://twitter.com/htc/status/1028000627794706432 It is highly possible that PR is not talking to Support and the information has not been carried over since August last year so make of it what you will. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ [link] [comments] | ||
New HTC U11 unsure if battery is fine Posted: 31 Jan 2019 10:00 PM PST Out of the box the phone drained really quickly, like it dropped by 1% in 2 minutes. I charged the phone and Software updated it and since then it is not draining as badly. However yesterday night I charged it to full and didn't use the phone since. This morning the battery was at 96%. When I checked for app usage there was only minimal usage of the launcher and Google app. Is this normal or at least comparable with your u11's? Is there any good way to ensure that I got a good battery? [link] [comments] |
