Has anyone gotten approved for SMS + Call Log Permissions Posted: 13 Feb 2019 04:57 AM PST I know that Tasker was, but haven't heard of anyone else getting approved to use permissions post March 9. How does Google send an actual approval? Does something change within the console - approved message, different status, etc... [link] [comments] |
[DEV] Created a minimal wallpaper app called PaperSplash! Posted: 13 Feb 2019 10:27 AM PST This app was something I developed for myself, for personal use, but I thought the app was really great and released it to the play store. LINK: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jlindemann.papersplash At it's core the app is a wallpaper app based on Unsplash, but with some features I always wanted in a wallpaper app. As I have always been frustrated about how bad some of the wallpaper app look and how much nonsense they have so I tried to create an app with as little nonsense as possible. With no nonsense I mean: no ads, no in app purchases, no clunky design, no unnecessary features. Just a clean app that tries to give you your perfect wallpaper. One feature I believe many always would have liked to have and it is the ability to inspect a wallpaper with icons on it and adjust the brightness to make your home screen looks as good as possible. When you first enter the app you will get to see the latest "Picture of the Day". This feature works like the title suggests, gives you the latest and greatest wallpaper curated by me. You can always find older "Picture of the Day" in specific section of the app Ever wondered where your downloaded wallpapers went. PaperSplash let's you go into a downloads menu and find all of the wallpapers you have downloaded. As this is my first released app I would love to get some feedback. If there is anything I could improve, let me know! [link] [comments] |

An app that makes the LED red or a big red notification on screen when my phone mic is muted Posted: 13 Feb 2019 07:37 AM PST Being a participant on conference calls quite often, I like to have occasional reassurance that I'm actually muted and not being that rude asshole on the phone. I find very often I'm double checking whether I'm actually muted or not and get a little paranoid about it. Large board rooms often have mics at each seat with green and red LEDs that represent whether a mic is live or muted. I just want that same reassurance while I'm using my phone. :) [link] [comments] |

Posted: 13 Feb 2019 10:52 AM PST Reddit is blocked in my country. It's super annoying to have to turn VPN on manually each time I want to browse. I also want to familiarize my girlfriend with Reddit. There are several subs she likes but she considers it too much hassle to browse with VPN as such. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 13 Feb 2019 05:19 AM PST So I try go to gym as often as possible but my motivation changes on a daily basis. The app that I currently use is gym guider offline. It is a great app but it doesn't motivate me. The app should be a gym app that can motivate me. What I like about gym guider offline is it explains how to do the exercise's correctly. I don't mind paying something a month as long as it is a really good app [link] [comments] |

App to forward whatsapp to text inbox, to view in car? Posted: 13 Feb 2019 04:43 AM PST I'm my car I can read and reply to text messages when i am connected by bluetooth, it can read out messages and i can reply by voice command, all very safe, i never need to get my phone out of my pocket........except when someone sends me a message via WhatsApp, i have come unstuck a few times when i have missed a WhatsApp message while I'm driving and ended up in the wrong place or at the wrong time etc. I can't expect people I'm chatting with to know when I'm driving and send me a text instead. Does anyone know of an app which would forward whatsapp messages into my text message inbox, so i can read and reply through the car system? [link] [comments] |
is there a trusted password manager? Posted: 13 Feb 2019 08:16 AM PST hey, I'm looking for a trusted (preferably free) password managing app. Fingerprint scanning, autofill, and a PC software or chrome plugin (if I'll be paying for it the plugin or PC software is kinda mandatory) thanks in advance [link] [comments] |
App to decline a call, and NOT send to voicemail? Posted: 12 Feb 2019 03:19 PM PST Not sure if this already exists (maybe I am searching it incorrectly) but is there a way to decline a call and NOT send them to voicemail? I get a lot of those spam calls throughout the day, and I think then I decline the call it sends them to my voicemail. It's pointless to block them, because they're just spoofing numbers. I don't really know what to do. [link] [comments] |
[REQUEST] georeferenced .tiff/.dwg viewer capable of supporting an xref'd image. Posted: 13 Feb 2019 11:18 AM PST I have the ability to download georeferenced nautical charts in .tiff or .dwg format, i would like to view these charts along with xrefed image files in a android app. Apps like autocad support .dwg but they dont seem to support an xrefed image file. A bonus would also being able to view my GPS position on the chart. [link] [comments] |

A sound recorder which can reduce the noise? Posted: 13 Feb 2019 11:02 AM PST So, I was wondering if there is any sound recording app which can record Sound, while reducing or removing the noise. I get white noise when I record voice. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Feb 2019 10:09 AM PST I'm the IT for my family, which means not only do I have to keep track of my own passwords, I also have to keep track of my elderly mother and father's. Is there an app (not like LastPass, Enpass, etc) that will let me manually input and store their information securely? [link] [comments] |
Browser with new tabs in the front? Posted: 13 Feb 2019 09:59 AM PST I never open a link into a new tab without wanting to switch to it immediately. Never. I certainly don't want to have to open the tab manager and pick out the new tab to see it. Firefox leaves a notification bar at the bottom you can click on to switch to the new tab which is nice, but I want it done automatically. I can probably install an extension in FF that would handle it but would prefer a chromium-based browser as FF is slower while browsing (at least on my phone). Any suggestions? Also: what is up with browsers that have a night mode (Kiwi, Samsung) using glaring white screens for their tab switchers when night mode is active? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 13 Feb 2019 01:52 AM PST Hi i was making this app and i need people to tell me their opinion. [link] [comments] |
