Galaxy S10 Does Not Have Replaceable Charge Port Posted: 26 Feb 2019 05:02 PM PST Edit: This is for both the S10 and S10+ but I'm unsure of the S10E. I work at an electronic repair store partnered with Samsung and we have seen the assembly of the S10. It looks like the charge port is soldered on to the motherboard. This may be replaceable at unauthorized repair shops but a charge port repair requires a motherboard replacement or a mail in repair to Samsung. I'm curious what everyone's thoughts on this are as I see a lot of charge port repairs as well as Samsung phones having a moisture detection error occur with many of their charge ports.
