[DEV] ranDungeon - a truly free action hack'n'slash game

    Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:16 AM PST

Hi, I wanted to share with You a game I made (and im still making). It's called ranDungeon (random dungeon). Its in development for very long time, has no ads, no payments and is completely free. It's the first game I started making ever, and I was learning everything from ground up on it.

What can You do in it? You go through randomly generated dungeons of various types, slaying monsters, collecting stuff, leveling up, making quests (bring x of x), hunting for epic items, submit your level to global rankings.. your character has skills, can use bombs, there is 2 character classess.. I have written and developed 100% of it by myself, every mechanic even the littlest, nothing is from ready assets, therefore graphics is.. poor. From the beginning it was going to be very oldschool, because many scripts are manipulating graphics (like item textures are generated randomly, or monsters that come as champions too, or you can draw your weapon skin by yourself).

Yet I hope someone will enjoy it.

You can watch the gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uImqHf4_Q20

You can download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.raszopg.randungeon&hl=pl

Game is in development all the time, I'm adding new features in updates, you can find more info or contact me via game's fb. If you have any concerns about the game, please share them here or message me - I will try to improve it.

    Looking for tactical rpgs

    Posted: 26 Feb 2019 05:58 PM PST

I'm looking for tactical rpg games like Final Fantasy Tactics and Vandal Hearts. I love the squad mechanics and class progressions in those games. Any mobile games that can scratch that itch?

[DEV] Typochondria by Chester Monty Games LLC

    Posted: 26 Feb 2019 07:26 AM PST

Typochondria is the result of about a year's worth of free-time development. It features over 1500 unique sentences (with each sentence having multiple variations), as well as three different gameplay modes and a global scoreboard. Happy Typo Hunting!

    Survival games

    Posted: 26 Feb 2019 11:53 AM PST

First, if you love survival games and haven't played The Long Dark your deficient in your experiences and you should go play it now.

TLD is my favorite survival game. And while I know there aren't any Android games like it, I'd still like to find something comparable.

I enjoy the slow pace of The Long Dark. And there's crafting, but it's not ridiculous. I also love the walking and slow exploring.

Sometimes I'll ramp up the difficulty for some wilderness brutality, but usually I'll play it on normal for a more emersive and relaxed mental getaway.

So, I'm looking for survival game suggestions. And most of all I hate games that have that have timed events or notifications urging you to play constantly.

I'd prefer a free game with ads and an option to buy so I can try it first. But I'm not adverse to buying a good game. Definitely no pay to play or MMOs or shit-tons of in app purchases.

Edit: I'm pretty done with zombie games don't bother suggesting those.

Anything like Xperia Play? Or an android device with a built-in controller alternatives?

    Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:25 PM PST

Hey guys, looking for something like an Xperia Play but modern; Looking to have a mobile gaming device with a built-in controller could be a phone or non-phone but pretty much just want an android device with a built-in controller for ease.

Xperia Play looks pretty good, just old. The JXD looks pretty cool but I think it's discontinued.

    Know any alternatives?

Been emulating GSH with the english patch but it's gotten stale now because I obviously can't use the online features the game was build around. Would be great to find out if there are similar games for Android games out there.

Is Axe as bad as it seems to be?

    Posted: 26 Feb 2019 08:54 AM PST

I installed the recently worldwide released Axe : Alliance versus Empire. At first it seems like a very polished mmo with an open world so I was pretty excited to try it out as I'm looking for a cool cooperative game to play with my SO.

Then I realized all the content can be done with auto... Furthermore the shop seems heavily pay to win with the best gears hidden behind huge paywall. PvP is a fucking joke and I already got killed in the open maps by high level roamers/bullies.

F2P doesn't seem to stand a chance and the progression seems to be locked behind pay wall as you have to reach very high amount of power to unlock new quests which only can be unlocked fast by buying better gears.

I don't want to give up that early, nor do I want to lose my time with a shitty cash grab - as good as it looks - so if other people could share their experiences, I'd be grateful :)

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this!

Recently I've been playing GTA LCS but I cant get custom songs to work even tho I create a playlist with the name GTALCS or even a folder with the mp3 inside like I saw some people do on youtube but none of these work for me! I tried using Shuttle app because one person said that they used it and it worked fine for them, but it didn't work for me, any solutions?

    Im using version 2.4

Fortress defender games like D-Fence 2?

    Posted: 26 Feb 2019 05:16 AM PST

    https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/233974

That link is one of the finest games I've ever played. Resource management, incremental upgrades, incremental enemies, tower management, walls, military, YOU NAME IT.

I have been looking for a "fortress defender" game like this for ages. I enjoyed Grow Castle, but it didn't have the city building aspect. However, this is the kind of game I'm looking for: One main hub to protect by arming it to the teeth instead of a winding path with towers that fire in a certain area.

Sorry to be the millionth post looking for a recommendation, but the play store is completely useless for finding new games
