Anyone know a workaround for older Android apps that have input bugs on newer devices? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 06:45 PM PST I've noticed in one or two applications (the one I know of that's unfixed is the original The Room), there's an annoying bug where it offsets all your touchscreen inputs on newer devices? That is, if you touched the center of the screen, it'd act like you touched a cm or so off of that point? (It appears to be constant.) This is particularly frustrating in that app, because it makes some of the puzzles almost uncompletable, since you cannot touch the correct location. Their later games don't have this problem, but it's not obvious to me what is causing this, and I don't have a plethora of Android versions I can swap between (my current device with this problem is a Pixel 2, my prior device was a Droid Incredible 2, so rather a large gap between last version for the older and first version for the newer). I don't suppose anyone's got a handy workaround for this? [link] [comments]

Need help finding a game I forgot the name of. Posted: 05 Feb 2019 05:08 AM PST There was a game I played on my tablet before it broke. I never had a decent phone to play games until now. So I couldn't just install it on my phone. The game is a survival game. You are a 2d character sitting in the wilderness. Each night you have to buy stuff like fly traps, lightning rods etc to defend yourself against the world. Each night you survived, you got more points. If you didn't take any damage you didn't need to spend it on life. It gets to a point where you are defending against aliens, bears and tornados on a nightly basis. I've looked through my previous apps list but I cannot find it there. I'm wondering if it has been removed? It was a very simple game. I remember reading reviews about it, which is why I played it. I'm pretty sure it was free. EDIT: the game is "sit and survive" which is no longer avaliable on the Google play store. Well according to my phone anyway. [link] [comments]

[Request] Dungeon Master Games Posted: 05 Feb 2019 03:11 PM PST I might be hoping for a bit too much here, but are there any games that let you control and manage your own dungeon? It would also be great if it allows players to attempt dungeons designed by other players. [link] [comments]

[REQUEST] 3+ players multiplayer game? Posted: 05 Feb 2019 10:43 AM PST Can anyone suggest game for group of friends? Game must be: -online multiplayer (we are in different cities) -competitive (free for all or team battle) -easy to learn -playable with one finger, or not so complex controls -slow paced -fun :) We played Risk, but we get bored and now can't agree which game to play next. I suggested UniWar but didn't find agreement, one friend suggested bombermen also failed. Thanks in advance for your suggestion! P. S. We are all 30+yo, former Dota gamers (noobs :)) with not so much time for games, but for casual gaming we can make online gathering Edit: formating [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Feb 2019 08:50 AM PST I saw the game roughly a month ago and want to try it, unfortunately I have to rely on data to play (and occasionally download) games. I would download all stuff possible (maps, items, and the like if I can) to reduce data usage as I have no storage problems. How much data would I spend for roughly an hour or 2 of playing? PvP excluded, I'm not too much into battling other players so I would just join PvP when necessary [link] [comments] |
