Posted: 29 Jan 2019 10:15 AM PST It's like they heard me! I just posted about this last week... https://www.theverge.com/2019/1/29/18201193/gmail-mobile-app-redesign-material-theme-android-iphone [link] [comments] |
[Dev] I developed a location-based messaging app that builds chat rooms for Google Maps locations. Posted: 29 Jan 2019 11:07 AM PST I taught myself Android last year and used an idea I've been sitting on for a while as my first app. Theo lets you chat anonymously anywhere on the map, be it a city, a particular establishment, or even a set of coordinates. Posted: 29 Jan 2019 03:05 AM PST I had a Sony Xperia Z-Ultra for a long time and one thing I really like about the Sony phones is the built in answering machine service. It is not voicemail, it is an answering machine and the messages are stored offline on my device. I recently moved to the OnePlus 6T and was wondering if there is an app, which is good and also trustworthy which would fulfill this requirement of mine. Any suggestions would be helpful! Google photo's extreme usage of 2.8GB out of nowhere? Posted: 29 Jan 2019 07:10 AM PST Hi, Today & yesterday Google photo's suddenly decided to consume over 2GB of data. [link] [comments] |
Greatest launcher that never passed Beta (FlowHome) Posted: 29 Jan 2019 04:53 AM PST Flowhome is perhaps the most eye pleasing launcher which never passed Beta phase. With Social networks and specially Reddit feed built in, I can't believe no launcher like this exists. Take a look. Attached is the download link too. Is it possible for apps to overlay the navigation bar with touch actions? Posted: 29 Jan 2019 10:33 AM PST For example, could an app put a trigger on the navigation bar for a certain action? Or does Android block all touch on the navigation bar except for the home, back, and recent button? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jan 2019 07:21 AM PST I plan on getting airpods and wondering which of the two apps is better Airbattery or airbuds [link] [comments] |

Notification light for bezeless oled display Posted: 28 Jan 2019 09:59 PM PST Is there any apps that would add a little light to the corner of my screen as though I had a notification led like old Samsungs and such? Like always on display but just a little light. [link] [comments] |
aCalendar+ help needed to prove a theory... Posted: 29 Jan 2019 06:43 AM PST Can any aCal users help proving a theory I have? I have been experiencing issues with event with invitees syncing with my Google account. If I create an event in aCal, this will sync with my Google account. Same thing in reverse: if I had an event on Google calendar online, it will sync up with aCal. The problem is when I add an event with invitees on aCal, this will not sync with my Google account. That means the invitee will never receive the event invite. This will only sync if I hit the synchronization button on aCal. I've asked the dev but didn't get a proper response. Can anyone try to see if it's just me?? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Looking for a music app that plays songs according to ranking or skipping Posted: 29 Jan 2019 12:03 PM PST Long ago yahoo music (remember that, lol) had a feature where you assigned music according to a 0-5 scale. 0 being don't play again & 5* meant you wanted it to play most frequently. Are there any apps that do this with local stored music? Thanks [link] [comments] |
Looking for an app that will allow me to use only the 3 apps I've explicitly whitelisted Posted: 29 Jan 2019 05:47 AM PST Hi. I'm cutereddit and I'm a phoneaholic. I've been sober for one hour. I'm looking for help. I'm looking for something that will lock down my phone and will only let me use one of three apps when I tell it to. The three apps are Amazon Kindle, Moon Reader, and Play Books. I've checked out many other apps (AppBlock; Thrive Away; Stay Focused; HelpMeFocus; AppDetox, Block, StayFree; Keep Me Out). But the problem with them, for my usage, is that they are "blacklist apps". They work by knowing what apps you want to block. For example, Facebook and Instagram. But I want to work on my netaholism the other way around. In other words. I want apps that I explitily whitelist to be accessible to me. (The 3 reading apps I've specified). Is there such an app? Posted: 29 Jan 2019 09:21 AM PST I've been looking for a tally counter with a feature that none I've tried seem to have. Has anyone come across a counter that will mark down the last date and time it was incremented. Example if I increment today it would say 29/01/19 12:20pm est or something similar to that? Stopwatch apps which pauses/resumes by flipping device Posted: 29 Jan 2019 09:13 AM PST People who have tried 'Tide' app would know this feature where you can pause or resume the timer just by flipping the device. That feature uses the proximity sensor to function. I wanted to know if there exist any stopwatch apps which can do this. Thanks [link] [comments] |

Third Party Launcher w/ Android P Multitasking/App Drawer Features Posted: 29 Jan 2019 07:46 AM PST I'm wondering wether there's a third party launcher that adopts the same stock Android P multitasking animations, but will also allow me to change icon pack and have a few more features than the stock launcher. When using Nova Launcher and pretty much any other third party launcher I have tried, the multitasking features are disabled and the animations are much different. Please tell me of any launchers you know of that I'm requesting (if there is any), cheers. [link] [comments] |
