I just wanna hack and slash things on my phone. Any suggestions? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 10:17 AM PST I tried Stickman Legends but felt it was a money pit in the making, but loved the simple concept of just slashing and jumping around. Anything similar that you folks love? *Loving the suggestions. I'm surprised with the level of detail. Thank you folks so much and let's keep it going in case someone else is also curious!!! [DEV] Keep Commander - Turn Based Strategy Game Posted: 31 Dec 2018 11:45 AM PST Hello Everyone I am here today to present my first game: Keep Commander, a turn based strategy game that aims to capture the essence of old school real time strategy games with a tile based map that can be easily played on PC or Mobile. I have been playing video games for the last 20 years, I studied computer engineering in college, I have been doing web work for about 15 years, and I have been employed as a professional software engineer for the past 5 years. I left my most recent contract with the intention of developing games full time and I am proud to say that my first title is ready to play and I have a few others in the works. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BLProductions.KeepCommander I started developing Keep Commander about 6 months ago with the goal of creating a game that had similar balance and mechanics to old school warcraft, but played more like civilization while still being accessible on mobile devices. The initial release has 1 faction that has 10 unique buildings and 7 different units; 1 map with 4 different size variants; and no microtransactions, hidden fees, or added costs for multiplayer. A match on the smallest map can be completed in about 25 minutes (17 x 17 tile map) and a match on the largest map can take as long as 1.5 hours (51 x 51 tile map). Initially multiplayer will only support 2 players per match, but I plan on expanding it to 4 players per match soon with the ability to include AI opponents. Initially the game only includes ground combat, but I plan to include naval and air units shortly into the new year (which would increase the number of buildings and units to 12 and 11 respectively). I plan to eventually add 8 more factions (each with their own unique building, units, and playstyle), tons more maps (each with their own size variations), offline play, in game chat, private matches, tons of new gameplay features, and a full blow single player campaign throughout the rest of 2019. Right now I am trying to find people who would be interested in playing the game so I can get some feedback from people outside of my current gaming group. It currently only has multiplayer available so you will need someone to play with. Keep Commander costs $0.99 on the Google Play store, it costs $1 on itch.io or gamejolt (for the PC/Mac/Linux versions) and will be released on iOS shortly with full cross play between all devices possible. I will be posting a comment with 50 free codes for the game, but if you would like multiple codes to share with other people, feel free to DM me and I will send you some additional codes. Thanks for reading [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Dec 2018 04:30 PM PST I recently splurged on myself and acquired a Bluetooth gamepad, so now I'm looking for games that I wouldn't have been able to fully enjoy without one. My phone is kind of older, so there's a couple requirements..

5 Game Review / Recommendation Post 2 Posted: 31 Dec 2018 07:41 AM PST 1) Stained Act 1 (Free, Action, Offline) Stained Act 1 is a point and click game with an action twist, find the required objects, get into gun fights and survive! Game features 7 chapters and yes it does feel short but it's got potential, the game contains ads but no IAP's and you should totally check out when Stained Act 2 arrives.
Gameplay : https://youtu.be/jxrJYQ78tMg Game Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.tripplebarrel.stainedact1. 2) Elementalist.io (Free, io style Action/RPG, Offline) Elementalist.io is an RPG game in io style, four different wizzards as Earth, Fire, Ice and Wind and the available game modes are io, mines, arena, invasion and boss Each game mode lasts for 2-3 minutes, it's really fun, there are two attacks, dash, and a shield, here's the hard part, you have to utilize them in best way so you can hurt others but don't get hurt since there will be a delay before you can use anything else but to run around, collect loot and survive to the end in order to get reward, if you die your score will reset. The game have various items you can loot and they are used to buy items like different armor and staffs to gain more powers, proteins to help you along, the game is offline and contains ads but no IAP's. The game was really fun, but it can be either a yes or no, it depends on weather you like to play io games or not, the game feels great and have no IAP's so doesn't hurt to try!
Gameplay : https://youtu.be/UL22S6wqidU Game Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.twoHandedGames.Elementalist.io 3) Ugly Moths (Free, Puzzle, Offline) You are the moth and you need to find your way out, the lights are blinding you, you need to turn them off, each light have neighbors and the moment you turn one off/on it will effect the neighbors, your goal is to find the right sequence and turn all of them off, no it doesn't end there, an additional bulb will show up and how you have to figure everything out again! It's really fun, easy to learn and puzzles take around 2 to 4 minutes based on how good you are at solving puzzles, the game contains ads and the IAP to Remove Ads the Game works Offline and have 20 levels in total, one level for each moth :D.
Gameplay : https://youtu.be/I-nnBotHI9k Game Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rubiconix.uglymoths 4) Sky Duels (Free, Arcade, Offline) A game about Dogfighting, easy controls, evolving environment and a 360° map to play in, variety of different planes to play with (based on real life models and have different speed, firepower and maneuvering) shoot the targets down to increase the difficulty, don't bump into buildings and other planes, don't let the simplicity fool you, it's quite intense, fun and addictive. Game contains ads and have No IAP's all the planes are unlockable by leveling up and by in game currency, I hope they add local multiplayer in this game!
Gameplay : https://youtu.be/t7As7Ko6M7s Game Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.panopera.skyduels. 5) Jump & Destroy (Free, Arcade, Offline) Jump and destroy is an run & gun game, cartoony graphics, and fast paced, game have simple controls to jump, aim and shoot, use crazy power ups (you unlock them by collecting Intel points you get by destroying enemies, total of 24 power ups) and fight tanks, helicopters and watch out for those mines, the game contains ads and IAP, mega boost removes ads, 2x your collected Intel's and provide power ups at start of the run. Non-P2W shooters with active community? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 01:22 PM PST I really loved C-ops but its kinda dead. Shadowgun Deadzone was amazing. Probably the best game I ever played. Thousands of hours put into that game. The community was unbelievable. Unfortunately its dead too. Modern Combat has so much potential but its p2w. Bullet force is fun but feels like its missing something. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]

Any recommendations for portrait mode games? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 12:05 AM PST Looking for a game that works in portrait mode, I've already got my fair share of offline games, but I'm looking for some online/multiplayer games. I'd be interested in rpgs mainly, possibly with some gacha elements, but as little fanservice as possible (I'd like to be able to actually play this game in public). Preferably a recent game with good graphics too. [link] [comments]
Any games like the original FarmVille? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 12:39 AM PST I tried farmville 2 and it just feels... so empty, like the first one had something that made you want to play it again and again. Thanks for help :) [link] [comments]

Would you recommend getting Terraria? Or should I get it for another system, e.g. my PS4? Posted: 31 Dec 2018 12:31 AM PST Hey guys, I'm not sure where to ask this question, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place. I am thinking about getting Terraria, what is your experience with it on Android? Are the controls playable? Or maybe it's not a good idea to get it for Android, and it would be better to get it for another system, like PS4? Thank you! [link] [comments]
