The 6T is remarkably resistant to maple syrup. Posted: 27 Nov 2018 04:06 PM PST Fifteen minutes ago, I absentmindedly opened what I thought was a single-serving pad of butter over my phone. It was not butter. However, by the time I got to the sink seconds later, it had literally slid off of the glass screen without leaving a drop. I don't know what this glass is made of, but it is impressive. [link] [comments]
Is it possible to put the time on the right on the 6t? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 12:14 PM PST Hello! On the 6t the time is displayed on the left side. To me, left side is for notifications and right side for the time and status. Since there is a notch, I wanna optimize space for the notifications since they can add up; the right side barely changes. How can I put the time on the right side? [link] [comments]
Am I the only one having issues with fingerprint on 6t? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 04:06 PM PST Have tried all the tricks. Registering my prints in the dark. Pressing hard and soft. It's been a week now and the fingerprint unlock is still having issues. I've all but givin up with the inconsistency of it and mainly use face and pattern unlock now. [link] [comments]

Convince me to leave Nova launcher for OP's own Posted: 27 Nov 2018 01:34 PM PST I just got the 6T and before I was even given the chance to try the stock launcher, Google had already synced Nova as my main launcher. I'm definitely pro-gestures, and I even got used to Oneplus' own navigation system rather quickly (about a minute, give or take), but is it really worth it to ditch Nova for it? I know it has some neat features (like double-tap to sleep), but I still can't see myself moving away from the customizable and clean Nova launcher. Nova is one of very few apps I've actually paid for. Just for context. [link] [comments]

Would enabling/disabling smart boost help battery? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 02:40 PM PST Looking to get my battery to last longer until I need to charge it again and was thinking, could enabling or disabling smart boost help at all or wouldn't it make any difference? Probably wouldn't make a difference but I'm looking at trying to find some tweaks to help the battery last longer each day by disabling or enabling certain features. [link] [comments]
(OP6) Lock screen slightly flickers when waked Posted: 27 Nov 2018 06:44 AM PST I would describe the flickering as pixels turning on completely at different times. It's not instant. It's like those old lightbulbs that take a short time to prep to turn on. It's not jarring but it kind of irks me. It only happens if I wake my device after I already logged in. ( lock screen, sleep, then wake to lock screen doesn't show any flickering ) Should it be of any concern or just pettiness? Device is currently 2 months old. ( no root ) Testing with backgrounds, I noticed that it happens more noticeably on bright ones. [link] [comments]
Can we yalk about how weak night mode is on One Plus? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 08:08 PM PST Compared to what you can do with other apps it is pathetic. It needs to have an option to further dim the light, as well as more red imo. Currently have to use the twilight app out of necessity, bur dreaming of the day I can just use night mode. Stuff i want to see changed about OOS navigation gestures. Posted: 27 Nov 2018 07:35 PM PST First, I feel like you should be able to hold the back button. When you swipe up from the corners to go back, they should make it that if you don't let go, it'll act as if you were holding the back button. Some apps use it (like chrome). Also, they need a force auto rotate toggle with navigation gestures on. It's a thing with pie gestures but I don't really like them. They could have a floating button that pops up for 5 seconds for that Idunno some other stuff I guess What about y'all What do you want to see changed about navigation gestures? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 07:20 PM PST I have had apple for a long time. Pretty much have the entire ecosystem. Two iPad pros two Xs, Apple TVs etc. I have always watched oneplus since the first one and liked how they operated and the phones they built. I'm really interested in the 6 but worried about my music and how use to everything I am. I need some input here if it would be beneficial to switch or since I'm so deep it wouldn't be worth it. OnePlus foruns - why all those alphabet games? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 11:48 AM PST Hey. Why are there so many folks playing alphabet games in the OnePlus forums? I really cannot understand. Aren't those supposed to be tech-related forums for tech-related discussions? [link] [comments]
OnePlus 3T Immense slowdown at the 2 year mark Posted: 27 Nov 2018 06:38 PM PST As of late, my 3T has been failing me speed-wise; often slowing down to a point at which the phone takes 2-3 seconds to turn the screen on with the power button when locked. Is this normal behavior? I had planned on using the phone for longer than 2 years. Maybe a factory reset would be beneficial? [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 Nov 2018 06:04 PM PST Anyone else having this issue with the 6t? I cannot post or upload a video to Reddit? It's just keeps spinning saying submitting. Ive tried in WiFi and my data and will not. I can upload from my laptop on the same band and WiFi but the 6t refuses to do it. [link] [comments]
I'm probably purchasing a 6T today. 6GB or 8GB? Much of a performance difference? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 01:42 AM PST I'm on a Pixel 2 right now that I have really enjoyed, but I'll be handing it off to my mother as her Nexus 5x has reached its end. I'd give the 6T to her but she hates big screens on phones. Anyway, should I go for 6GB RAM or 8GB? I think there probably isn't much of a difference between the 2, but I'd rather ask the 1+ community about it beforehand. Having 8GB of RAM does sound nice though. [link] [comments]
Speeding up home gesture animation? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 05:38 PM PST Is it possible to speed up the animation speed of the home swipe up gesture? I don't know if it feels sluggish to anyone else. [link] [comments]
Is there any Free and/or open source program to do a full system backup locally of OxygenOS? Posted: 27 Nov 2018 05:18 PM PST I performed a google backup and noticed many apps missing. I use a lot of f-droid apps that amazing back up but some apps i got off the play store wouldn't. Is there any Free and/or open source app to do a full system backup? [link] [comments]
Google Discover page not loading Posted: 27 Nov 2018 05:18 PM PST Is anyone else's 6T discover page not loading? Coming from Pixel 2 im use to loading instantly. On my 6T when I refresh it just keeps loading and the pictures never load. I got my 6T through TMobile if that matters [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Nov 2018 04:53 PM PST I've seen two extremely good deals for the 6T and 3XL, that result in an overall contract cost with a SIM that's less than the phones new. The issue is... I can't pick which one. I'm a 5T user and everything has been fine apart from the camera - it leaves me a bit disappointed. Then the 3XL looks uglier. Such a hard choice. Any opinions? Should I upgrade from oreo to pie Posted: 27 Nov 2018 07:01 AM PST So I got my brand new op6 today. I'm comming from a samsung galaxy s5 and oh boy is it an upgrade... But in the last week or so I've read many posts about shitty battery life after upgrading from oreo to pie. So should I stay at oreo or update to pie? [link] [comments]
