    Let's just appreciate how good the full-screen gestures are. I saw how it works natively on android 9 and I have to say this seems 100 times better.

    Hi guys,

    I am an owner of 2 Xiaomi Roborock Vacuum Cleaner. However, recently one of them suffered from the Laser Sensor Error, and based on my research online, I found out that it needs a replacement of the LDS, which is definitely not cheap! So, my question is what are the best ways to prevent this from happening? What do I need to do to clean the LDS? I really want to prolong its life, as LDS replacement every few months is really very costing!

    How to unlock phone with fullscreen gestures when using app on lockscreen - eg. Google maps?

    When i'm using navigation i have no idea how to reach my home screen or recent apps. Only gesture that workis is swipe from top, to access to notifications.

    Any ideas? Redmi note 5 pro here with miui 10.

    Mi A2 Lite on Telus

    Hey I've been thinking about buying a Mi A2 Lite. I'm on a pay as you go plan so I really only use my phone for calls, texts, music and some light gaming.

    From what I can see the Mi A2 Lite is perfect for me other than i'm not sure if it will work on Telus in Canada. For some bands it does but if I don't have data will I be fine?

    Static noise when playing audio

    Whenever I listen to music or watch a youtube video with headphones on, I can hear a very annoying static sound in the background. It even distorts some of the more silent parts in the audio. The static continues for a few seconds after I pause the music.

    I have tried using all of my headphones, but the hissing is present with all of them. I can even hear it when using the built in speakers, although it's a lot less noticeable.

    I've had this issue ever since I got this phone back in january of this year.

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'm using a Redmi Note 4

    Mi Body Composition Scale - Water reading, is it accurate?

    Guys, any of you have the Mi Body Composition Scale (https://www.mi.com/us/mi-body-composition-scale/)? The water reading for me always show a figure around 45%, how about yours? Measurement taken first thing in the morning and late evening shows little difference. I assume readings taken later in the days should show more since I normally think I drank enough water (6-10 glass) during the day, I don't feel dehydrated at all.

    Are Xiaomi phones compatible with emergency alerts?

    I did not receive the Presidential Alert test today, but a lot of people I know didn't receive it (include iPhone users) so I wasn't sure if this is a Xiaomi issue.

    Did anyone else on Xiaomi receive the alert? For further insight, I am on MIUI 10 Global.

    I had a Redmi Pro previously and I never received Amber Alerts, but I was also on the Chinese ROM so I had assumed that was the reason.

    Charging issue in my Xiaomi mi mix 2s

    So, I have a Xiaomi mi mix 2s and i don't have any problems charging it with its factory charger, the thing is sometimes I dont have on me my charger, and when I try to use another type C charger it doesnt work; also I've just bought an external battery, and the only way to use it is using the factory cable.

    Is there any way i can use the other chargers? It's just that the charger is a little bit different? Or i should be able to use other chargers, and the phone has a problem?

    In regards to the presedential alert test in US

    I have a mi mix 2 with current MIUI 10 stable. I did not get the presidential alert today when everyone else did and that makes me extremely happy. I was standing around with a bunch of people in line at Starbucks when all of their stupid iPhones went off at that same time. A few of them wanted to know why mine didn't get the alert and actually seemed upset about it.

    My phone is not rooted and I haven't installed a custom recovery. Did any of the rest of you get the presidential alert on your xiaomi products?

    Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (battery??) issue.

    So I was experiencing battery drain issues for like two weeks, the temperature was a bit higher than usual but nothing to worry about (I thought lol).

    apps open by themselves while screen is locked MIUI 10.

    hey guys, i have the xiami red mi 5 plus, and ever since i updated to miui 10 i encountered three weird problems:

    1. was playing a game and then locked the screen. two hours later i heard the game's music playing while the screen was still locked, and trying to unlock the phone was glitchy and taking time.
    2. lock screen wallpaper changed by itself to the one you get with your phone (i have no wallpaper carosel activated or anything like that)
    3. lockscreen randomly displayed permission alerts from the notes app (allow notes to access contacts, files, etc.). I have not opened notes whatsoever. the permission alerts were right on the lockscreen which i've never seen on an android device before.

    has anyone run into these before? i am concerened my phone is hacked, but these started only lately after the miui update to miui 10.

    Notifications on fitbit versa don’t work on pocophone MIUI 9.6.22 stable

    Anyone figured out how to get notifications working on their fitbit? I recently got the pocophone and the fitbit app keeps telling me to "Restart your phone to restore tracker notifications".

    I have restarted and looked around for any settings I can change to get this working but have not been able to fix this.
