I'd just like to commend my dead OnePlus 3T for its still excellent battery life. Posted: 21 Oct 2018 09:00 AM PDT I pulled it off the charger Friday morning, then dropped and broke the screen. It's now Sunday at noon and THE ALARM IS STILL GOING OFF EVERY FIVE MINUTES. A removable battery would be lovely right now, BUT NO. A hardware off switch that doesn't require using the screen would be really nice right now, BUT NO. Battery life, though? Still excellent after two years. OH GOODY THERE IT GOES AGAIN Edit: welp. I'm dumb. Thanks for pointing out the long press. [link] [comments]

Posted: 21 Oct 2018 05:58 AM PDT I have done a search and know this has been brought up. But there have been no recent discussion about this.. As users would know. Stories doesn't show fully. Have anyone discovered a way where I can see the full story without having parts cropped off? [link] [comments]
I guess this is the end of my OnePlus 3 then. Posted: 21 Oct 2018 08:49 AM PDT I had a OnePlus 3 sat on a shelf for a while today I plugged it in to charge it and i smelt smoke and it got hot, i immediately unplugged it. As it is far out of its warranty I popped open the phone to find the cause of this and found it. On the connector where the dock connector plugs in the the motherboard. (Not posting this for sympathy etc, or to shame OnePlus. Just found it interesting.) [link] [comments]

This sucks: Bluetooth randomly disconnecting Posted: 21 Oct 2018 09:41 AM PDT And I need to restar my phone just to make it connect to my fitness band. While driving the music cuts off and reconnects seconds later. What's going on? [link] [comments]
What are everyone's thoughts on the camera for the 6T? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 08:24 AM PDT I've owned the OPO, OP3 and OP5 and currently rock a Pixel 2 XL for the last year. It's a nice phone, but Google is really off their rocker lately especially with the Pixel 3. The only thing that's kept me from owning a OnePlus phone for long periods of time has been their cameras. Does anyone know or speculate what the camera will be like on the 6T? Same sensor as the 6? Has any seen significant improvement on their 6 since installing the Pixel camera port? My wife's on a Pixel 1 XL and it's acting up and the 6T is on my short list for her when it needs to be replaced. Cheers [link] [comments]
OnePlus 6, "Hey Google"/"Ok Google" prompting for pin instead of auto unlocking Posted: 21 Oct 2018 07:42 PM PDT Hey guys, I've been having a super annoying issue lately with my OP6, The "hey google" command will "register" when my screen is off, but prompts for the pin before opening. I've tried:
I have no idea what is going on and it was working perfectly about until a week ago, there isn't really a point in the voice command if I have to walk over to unlock my phone :/ [link] [comments]
Need Help deciding between Pixel 3 and OnePlus 6t Posted: 21 Oct 2018 03:21 PM PDT I know this question has been posted in a few ways. But I need help choosing my next phone. I really want a good camera as I have a newborn at home and expect to take many photos. Which phone would you do if you were me? [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 02:26 PM PDT Gearbest currently has a deal for the OnePlus 6 for $429. I was considering springing for it, but the OnePlus 6T launches next week. Will we see any OnePlus 6 deals after the launch or towards Black Friday? [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 09:00 PM PDT I know they are out of stock, but when they do come back, I have a question. Do they have any added benefits of being connected to a Oneplus device than a non-Oneplus device? For example are they going to work differently because I have a Oneplus 6 than if I had a pixel 3? Does anyone had their OnePlus phone died when abroad? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 05:11 PM PDT Dear OP users, have you had any issues with your phones when you're abroad? Last year my phone was disconnecting randomly from the cellular network when I was using "data roaming", without that option it was working perfectly fine. Also every time during a period on which I was using my phone with "data roaming" turned on, the device would suddenly die for 15-20 minutes and not responding to holding only the power button or power+volume down buttons. And after 15-20 minutes the device just boot off but without working SIM slots for another 5-10 minutes. Now this weekend it seems that the problem with the disconnecting from the network was fixed, but my device still dies in the middle of unknown leaving me with paper map I've printed just in case. My device is 3T. [link] [comments]
One plus 6 - how do I hide my number when I call other people? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 08:50 PM PDT Not sure what it's called - block caller id? Call privately? I want to block other people's ability to see my number when I call them. [link] [comments]

When will the next batch of OP 6's arrive? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 01:47 PM PDT I really want to buy one but I may have to settle for another phone at the moment. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 10:36 AM PDT Im thinking of buying OnePlus 6 but when i looked at the specs of the 6 vs 5T i see almost no difference except for the 6 having a little bigger screen. So is there no bigger differences between them except for the name and the screen size. [link] [comments]
Oneplus 6 Karbon Bumper Case v Free Case (Size) Posted: 21 Oct 2018 01:12 PM PDT Hi :) Does anyone know if the Karbon Bumper case is the same size in terms of overall dimensions as the clear TPU case included in the box? I ask as the one included in the box is as thick/wide as I'd like to go so if the bumper case adds more bulk then I'd get the standard Karbon case instead. Cheers [link] [comments]
Twitter app notification sounds??? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 12:22 PM PDT I wasn't using it for long time, so I didn't notice, but WHERE IS THE SETTINGS FOR THE SOUND???? I can't find it. I see notifications but without sounds or vibrations. [link] [comments]
Question about the lock option in the opened apps Posted: 21 Oct 2018 04:09 AM PDT Does this lock option prevent the phone from killing apps to free ram? Or at least tell the phone to kill that app last. I'm mostly interested to keep games open on background. [link] [comments]
Anyone experiment with freezing/removing the OnePlus applications from OxygenOS? Posted: 21 Oct 2018 11:45 AM PDT Not a huge fan of closed source code on my phone, particularly from a company with a history of security mishaps. I've always run AOSP based ROMS one previous devices (when possible), but it seems that the community overall is dying, and even LineageOS isn't particularly stable on OP6 from what I've heard. I started freezing some apps in Titanium Backup, but that didn't go so well. It turns out you can't even freeze the OnePlus launcher without breaking the navigation bar. Anyone else go down this rabbit hole? [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 11:43 AM PDT I keep getting ads saved onto my phone. It is saved as a cached folder in Google photos. I tried sourcing what game it could be but it seems like it's coming from every game that has ads. Any fix? [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Oct 2018 10:30 AM PDT Hey guys, I've used my first Android for the last few months and love it (Xiaomi Mi A1, a very budget phone at $275 canadian) and I'm planning on getting a OnePlus because I've heard so much good stuff about them, and I want a beefier Android. So, out of the 5, 5T, and the 6, what do you suggest? I barely use the camera on my phone, so that is a non-consideration for me. I value speed, storage and battery I guess, that's about it. Also, do you suggest ever buying a used smartphone? I like to spend less but don't want a bogged down or damaged device. Just wondering your thoughts on this. Thanks! [link] [comments]
What case, if any, are you using for your OnePlus 6? Posted: 20 Oct 2018 10:25 PM PDT I am looking for a case that gives good fall protection but also looks good as well. Any leads will be appreciated. [link] [comments] |
