    I've recently found an app that turns your fingerprint reader into a home button. I was too used to that feature on my HTC 10 and found myself defaulting to that automatically, with no joy, of course.

    It was temperamental at first but works like a charm now. I really don't know what I did different to get it working properly. I hope it can be of use to some of you out there!

    There are some themes that remove white backgrounds on some apps, but other still got it (i.e. Limitless theme). Are there any themes, compatible with miui10, that remove ALL white backgrounds?

    Where to buy Pocophone from (UK)?

    The 3 options that stand out are Amazon (374£), Gearbest (297£) and eglobalcentral (294£).

    Amazon is the most expensive one, but I'm thinking of the customer service offered in case something goes wrong. Do you know of any other options and where did you buy yours?

    Xiaomi A2 lite Bluetooth volume too low?

    Going from an aging Nexus 6P to the A2 lite I thought Bluetooth would not change. I use the Sony 1000x Bluetooth headset, and as far as I can tell the maximum volume through Bluetooth has reduced dramatically compared to my previous phone. I would think the phone just sends the signal to my headphones who in turn outputs the volume. But even using the volume controls on the headset it maxes out a lot earlier than my previous phone. This is a bit of an inconvenience. Anyone who has any thoughts on this?

    No vibration when receiving whatsapp messages on Poco f1?

    I normally keep the sound of messages to none and rely solely on vibrations. But for some particular reason the phone doesnt vibrate when I recieve a whatsapp message. Also the notification top bar doesnt show whatsapp icon up there so the only way of telling if I received a message is to look at the icon or pull down the notification panel.

    Am I missing out any setting? I have vibrations sst to default in whatsapp settings. Then in notification settings I unchecked the floating notification because it bothers me but have left the vibration ticked. Even after these steps the phone wont vibrate on receiving messages.

    Any solutions for this?

    Sony's Xperia Home launcher has it as a feature, so not only the Pixel Launcher or the Android One launchers can have that.
