I have another computer that's a Windows 7 and all I see is LAN when changing adapter settings. Does this mean I really have to buy an adapter or can it be enabled somehow? I'm on desktop btw. Dell Optiplex 760, 32 bit, Intel 82567Lm-3 GB network.

    DTS:X Ultra? (Spatial Sound)

    Posted: 09 Aug 2018 10:34 AM PDT

There are a few newer options coming to Spatial Sound, like Dolby Atmos for Stereo Speakers, which i think is a "updated" version of Dolby Virtual Speaker, but what about DTS:X Ultra? I didn't found a good definition of what it is, and how it will be used inside Windows 10.

Can anyone recommend a Cheap/Freeware Bandwidth Monitor?

    Posted: 09 Aug 2018 05:32 PM PDT

I'm experiencing some latency issues in gaming lately and I'm wondering if there is some software I can sue to keep an eye on if any programs and sending or receiving data that I'm unaware of. I know Win10 has it's own Resource Manager. I'm just curious if there is a better program to use.

    What is the program redist?

    Posted: 09 Aug 2018 03:17 AM PDT

In my programs list, I have a program called redist. Just that, all lowercase. The publisher is also redist, and the version is 1.0.0.0. There's no other information, and I can't find the program elsewhere on my machine.

What is this program and what is it needed for? I have Windows 7.

How do I get the taskbar to always open tabs to the right of pinning applications?

    Posted: 08 Aug 2018 09:40 PM PDT

Here I have 2 screenshots, one to show what I mean by multiple windows, and the other showing my settings.

In the image you can see 2 chrome windows open in the middle of the pinned applications.

The settings show pretty much everything turned off.

What I want to know is: How do I get the new windows to appear on the right of those pins? I feel like this must have been a very recent change from windows that snuck through. The whole thing becomes cluttered as I have more and more windows from Chrome or Unity.

I've searched through the settings and googling around has been just about useless.

    Thanks!
