    Ive seen some reviews but havent seen any that talk about the refresh rate of the machine compared to the ipad.

    How to restrict the use of mobile data in j7 pro

    At the place i work at we started to renew the phones the delivery guys use to register the sales/deliveries, we decided to buy the j7 pro (SM-J730GM).

    We had huawei phones that let us choose wich applications could use mobile data but i cant find that option in the new phones, does this phone not have that option? If not how can i restrict wich apps use mobile data.

    help: just got a replacement s8 after breaking my other one.

    Hi, I today received a new s8 after I broke the LCD in my other one rendering it useless. Insurance company said that a repair wouldn't be possible. My old phone had the option enabled where you need to enter your password after turning it off. I am now in need of assistance because I'm not sure if I can possibly use smart switch to transfer my photos across onto my new phone as it was turned off when it broke so is now encrypted when I turn it on, I have restored using cloud however this didn't have any of my photos on for some reason, in the grand scheme of things my life will continue without the photos but it would be really annoying if I lose holiday photos etc, so any help or ideas on how I could retrieve these photos would be massively appreciated.

    Hello everyone!! Ever since I've purchased my S7 there has been a lot of overheating problems such as the back of the phone being hot to the point where it is uncomfortable to use. Is it possible that the battery is causing it?? And if so will replacing it prevent the phone from overheating??? Furthermore, the battery of the phone is draining quick!

    Galaxy S7 Edge still thinks I'm in Korea. How do I fix it?

    I was in Korea for a year and I got a phone out there. However I'm in England now but my phone still thinks I'm in Korea. The play store displays ₩ instead of £ and some apps I want to download aren't even available. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

    Question about the OEM Galaxy S9+ charger cable.

    Hey everyone,

    I'm trying to locate info on the OEM charger for the S9+. Model: EP-DG950CBZ

    Can anyone tell me what the ohm resistance of the cable is? I want to use it for another device but I need to make sure it has the 56k ohm resistor before I do.

    I can't seem to locate any information online about this. Can anyone please help me?

    Upgraded to S9 I want to optimize my phone for battery life and cut bloatware

    As the title states I am basically looking for pointers as to how I should prepare my S9 to be running at optimum efficiency and what bloatware apps I can safely remove and tips I can use to extend the battery life of my new phone to be as long as possible, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Got an S9+ the other day and to keep it safe from cracks I am keeping it in my bag as opposed to my pocket whilst cycling (this is how my S7 edge cracked). However I have a Bluetooth speaker (UE Boom 2) that I occasionally use to listen to music as I ride and it would be great to be able to change songs using the speakers mic and Bixby with my phone never even having to leave my bag. Is this a possibility as I have had no luck so far. Cheers

    Samsung S9/S9+ users, DO NOT update to 7/8/2018 (G960USQU2ARF7) android firmware if you want 240fps slowmo camera mode to work properly! TLDR inside..

    I'm a video creator and I use the new 1080p 240fps slow motion camera mode a lot in my videos. I recently discovered that my videos were getting a lot of stuttering and lag and even freezing when trying to record. After a lot of digging, and not a lot to go on from the internet, I think I've pinpointed the issue.

    I purchased my S9+ through T-Mobile about a month ago upgrading from a Google Pixel. I was mostly after the enhanced camera modes such as 4k (60fps), super slow motion (960fps), and 1080p slow motion (240fps). It worked great for the first few weeks and then one day the 240fps mode started recording very choppy, stuttery video and would even freeze or crash on hitting record. At first I thought it was the new SD card I started using, but removing that didn't fix it. Then I tried the usual troubleshooting tactics such as deleting the camera app cache and data. I even went as far as factory resetting the phone. Nothing worked.

    I finally contacted Tmobile and they sent me a free replacement thinking it was hardware related. Yesterday I picked up my new phone and, voila, it worked. Smooth 240fps video once again. Then last night, my phone auto-updated to latest firmware and once again, I'm stuck with stuttery, laggy 240fps slow motion video. So I had my friend who also has a S9+ through Tmobile test his, and he had the same issue. He is also updated to the latest version of firmware.

    At this point I knew it was firmware related, so I dug deeper. I contacted Tmobile again and they suggested I contact Samsung. Samsung stated they hadn't heard about this issue and escalated it to their dev team. I'm assuming since the mode isn't enabled on the camera by default that not a lot of people have experienced this issue. Combined with the fact that a lot of people in general don't use slow motion modes.

    I then had another friend with a S9+ but through AT&T test his and it worked perfectly. After looking at his Baseband version and comparing it to mine, it is the stock version of firmware that ships with the phone and it seems AT&T is further behind on updates than T-Mobile is.

    TLDR: Don't upgrade to Baseband version G960USQU2ARF7 if you want 240fps camera mode to work smoothly. This is the July 8th update and is the latest update for T-Mobile and hasn't been released for AT&T

    I'm 99% sure this is the issue and Samsung needs to know about it. If anyone else has a S9 or S9+ through T-Mobile and is updated to the latest firmware feel free to comment and confirm that your 240fps slow motion video is also choppy or stuttering. And if you haven't updated, let me know if your video is smooth or not! I kinda hope I'm wrong and am just unlucky with TWO phones. But I need to know or I might go insane trying to figure this out.

    Thinking of switching from IPhone X to Galaxy S9+ but....

    I can't seem to decide for sure. I want to as I have never owned an android but I've used them, and I love emulating. Other than that though, I suppose I'm asking to be sold on it. Or if not, sold on a Galaxy phone in general. Any help here would be awesome!

    Won a samsung MU6300 55" do I keep or sell?

    Like the title says I won a MU6300 4K TV today. My dilemma is whether to keep my first gen 2015 Vizio P series P502ui-B1E. It's a 60hz panel variant, and no HDR.

    Or sell it and keep the Samsung. I know the current P series is a high end device but given mine is a first gen with no HDR.. I'm on the fence.

    This message keeps popping up while I'm using my phone and it also turns on location services for the phone. I keep my location services off unless I'm using an app that requires it and this notification comes in several times a day regardless of how many times I hit disagree and I don't know how to disable it for good.

    Best way to transfer data between 2 samsung phones?

    I'll be upgrading from my old samsung phone to another in the near future and I was wondering what the best way to transfer data would be. I think my old phone has some damage to the docking port since it won't fast charge or be recognized by any computer when plugged in.

    Does the built in Data Backup and Restore in settings do the trick for transferring contacts, pics, apps, app data, etc? Or would Samsung Switch be better? And does Samsung Switch work if I take out the sim card for one of the phones? Thanks!
