| Posted: 29 Aug 2018 02:55 PM PDT Clear the cache of Google Play Services and Store, as well as the Google app. Recently had immense battery drain (at one point 1000mah per hour) and couldn't figure out why. Notification kept popping up saying "Google app is draining too much battery", but wasn't listed under any battery monitoring apps. Kernel was taking up the most, but was normal usage. Remembered that clearing Google cache has helped people in the past so tried it again. Battery life back to normal (so far anyway) May not fix battery life for all, (I've seen comments complain about the new OOS OP3/T update) but helped me so I hope it might help someone else too 🤷♀️ Happy trails! | Oneplus camera focus repair (Canada) experience Posted: 29 Aug 2018 06:33 PM PDT I bought my oneplus 3 on release day and last fall, got the camera focus glitch. Everyone thought it was a software glitch, so I waited for the fix to come. Never did. Had to use a magnet to take pictures. So, last week, I thought I'd try an rma. Even though it was over a year out of warranty, I'd read were a lot of people were getting repairs out of warranty for this. I emailed them Friday, got approved Saturday, shipped it, across Canada on Monday and got it back on Wednesday. That's pretty damned good! Posted: 29 Aug 2018 06:05 PM PDT I've been managing to use the official TGSP with the Otterbox case on my OP6 for about a month, but the screen protector's starting to bubble at the edges and come off. I only just found out that they aren't compatible I'm having issues finding any similar, explicitly compatible, setups. And I haven't seen anyone compile a list like this either. | Posted: 29 Aug 2018 02:18 PM PDT Since the recent update I can't use my camera app anymore. It just gives a black screen. When I try to open gallery or switch from view the app freezes. The camera works perfectly fine though if I use third party apps or use camera through WhatsApp, so I'm pretty sure it's a software issue and not hardware. I tried the usual stuff like clearing cache, rebooting, etc. But it doesn't seem to help. Anyone has a solution or similar issue? [link] [comments]  |
| OP5 on OB15 dash charge maxed at 2.5A Posted: 29 Aug 2018 02:17 PM PDT anyone else notice this? regardless of current battery percentage, dash charge with original charger max out around 2.5A according to Ampere. This is further confirmed since 30m only get me from 30% to 60% now. It used to get to 85% or so. [link] [comments]  |

Always on display has its benefits, Samsung especially knows how to make one work. Really hope OnePlus has this on future phones or tries to make it work for existing phones. I had a question as I have been experiencing an odd issue when trying to have multiple BT devices paired with my OP6. Keep in mind that neither device is active at the same time and I experience this. Scenario: I have 2 devices that are paired for Phone, Contacts, and Media. When I pair the second device and the first device is OFF/inactive everything is fine. I turn off the second device and then turn on the first device, it's status is changed to say (no media). My OP2 did not have this issue - I could switch between BT devices without losing phone or media functionality. Is anyone else experiencing this? Have a solution? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 29 Aug 2018 12:49 AM PDT I've had my OP3 on lineage OS since it was available for 2 reasons only: to change the way the alert slider works, and to be able to set scheduled do not disturb rules (e.g. Dnd over night). It seems the alert slider behaviour changed in newer OP phones so I was wondering if someone who is on the latest official OOS version on the OP3 could tell me if it's possible to use dnd automatic rules (or tasker or other workaround), and if the alert slider has changed from being normal, priority, dnd to something else/has settings now? | Possible OnePlus Wifi Connection Issue Posted: 28 Aug 2018 11:12 PM PDT This is a long shot but figured its worth asking here. I just moved to South Korea and am trying to connect to the wifi the previous occupant left me. They were able to connect, but when I tried on my OnePlus2 I am able to join the wifi and put in the password, but then am alerted that there is no internet and asked if I want to stay connected. I don't think its phone specific because my laptop (Dell XPS 13) is having the same issue. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? All I can think is something with my devices either being older or somehow bound to something in the US? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 28 Aug 2018 10:24 PM PDT I've been experiencing a nasty wakelock on my One plus 6 currently running OxygenOS 5.1.11. I've already cleared cache, reset app preferences and restarted phone several times but to no avail. The issue started about two days ago. I've also got location services set to battery saving modeand scanning for both WiFi and Bluetooth turned off but the problems still persists. I ran into zero wakelocks until this started happening seemingly out of the blue. Anyone got suggestions? [link] [comments]  |
