| Posted: 28 Aug 2018 04:20 AM PDT Edit: fixed it And can't get texts to work, I've followed all the steps your supposed to, turned off iMessage and FaceTime before swapping the sim, I went to apples site and deregistered my number, and I'm still not getting texts, it's not just from iPhone users either, Trying to login to my banking apps requires a text for verification, half of them came through the other half didn't. I'm loving the phone but if I can't get texts to work properly I'll be dropping the sim right back into my iPhone and dealing with the hassle of returning the 1+ anyone have any ideas on what to do!? | Experiencing horrible battery life on 3t Posted: 28 Aug 2018 09:20 AM PDT So I'm getting like 1-2 hours of screen on-time and having to charge twice throughout the day to survive. Cell standby is using 13% of the battery, the OS 5% and then the screen is only at 4%. Has anyone else experienced this? [link] [comments]  |

I'm using island to get the second instance but I can't have both windows active at the same time. This means that one of the instances is not refreshing the screen and treated as if it is a background process. Is there a way I can force them both to be active? | Oneplus automatic brightness is way too dim Posted: 28 Aug 2018 01:20 PM PDT Anyone else getting this issue? Most of the time indoors the Oneplus 6 is at around 10% brightness and it's really dim. I find myself manually adjust the brightness all the time. Is there some way to adjust the auto brightness sensitivity? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 28 Aug 2018 05:46 PM PDT I'm not 100% on this yet. Long story short, I bought the OP6 because Samsung was asking $513 for a repair but they're now supposedly fixing it for free. Basically my question is how would returns work if all of them are open and for the most part used? Would all of items be subject to the 85% restocking fee? Phone, charger + cable, headphones, and case (that I bought)? I'm just trying to figure out how much I'll lose. Might just end up selling the S8+ but for now I'm just considering my options. | OP6: Where did 'notification priorities' go? Posted: 28 Aug 2018 12:02 PM PDT Hi all, owner of a brand new OP6 here. I'm coming right from an OPO running Android N (latest Sultan's ROM / Lineage), and I'm kinda surprised how much stuff is missing. Is 'notification priorities' and being able to hide notifications if they annoy you gone completely? Is it ever coming back? Is it an Android O thing or is Oxygen OS at fault? I really enjoyed being able to pick what gets shown on the lock screen, what gets to the top, what gets hidden from the status bar but shows when expanded, etc. (Also Quick Settings - am I missing something or is it either 'quick toggle' or 'hold to open menu' with no in-between like it was with Lineage on Android M / N? i.e. being able to pick Wi-Fi to connect to from the status bar if you pulled it down to 'expand' it) Feels like many steps forward (the hardware is amazing), but also quite a few steps back, software-wise. Is this something I should learn to live with or will Oneplus be fixing it at some point? (And if they're not, is there a stable, good ROM I could flash that does have these features?) | Posted: 28 Aug 2018 12:59 AM PDT Wifi of my OP3 can not be activated anymore. Also, latest build 5.0.5 bootloops (maybe because of that). I tried msmdownloadtool to restore to OOS 3.1.2 and it booted up again, but no wifi possible. I then tried unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom (omni) rom, but still wifi can not be activated. So, is this a hardware fault? [link] [comments]  |

Just now by holding my phone I realized that holding my phone along the right side of it causes the bluetooth to cut our horrendously.
