Request | Weather apps with great radar Posted: 09 Aug 2018 11:56 AM PDT I think I have used many weather apps and am never really happy with them. Has anyone found a decent weather app that has a fast loading radar that is accurate? There are a lot of great apps that are nice to look at but have terrible radar. I love Today Weather but again the radar is slow. Thanks [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 Aug 2018 04:18 AM PDT Hi guys Now that Newton has announced that they will be shutting in September, is there any other email app/service that you are aware of that has the same read receipt functionality like Newton? Paid/free/subscription anything. I don't mean regular read receipts wherein the recipient gets an alert saying the sender had requested a read receipt and they have to typically click on 'Send' or 'Don't send' I mean the kind where the recipient doesn't know at all, but you get the information/alerts of whether they have read the email or not, time of reading it and the location as well. Not sure how Newton did this... Going to miss them! [link] [comments] |

Heremaps: How to save maps to memory card. Posted: 09 Aug 2018 10:47 AM PDT I am trying to install Here maps on my memory card, following the instructions on this official support page: It says: Go to the main menu of HERE WeGo and select Settings > General > Storage memory then set the destination to which you want to save your maps. However, when I follow this, the only option provided is internal. How can I select my memory card? I do not have the option to root my device. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 09 Aug 2018 11:41 AM PDT Hi guys, hoping to make the switch from my iPhone to a s9+, but the only thing I'm struggling to find is a HomeKit app equivalent, something to amalgamate all my smart devices together. Functions I need include setting timers, settings etc and the ability to turn them on off, dim them etc without having to use my voice. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 08 Aug 2018 09:34 PM PDT I'm used to LG phones that have a feature called Clip Tray that is basically an easily-accessible clipboard (copy-paste) history. Just the other day I used it to copy two things from different places that needed to be put together in a third place, and it was easier to get both then place both instead of get one, place one, get the other, place the other. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 08 Aug 2018 09:13 PM PDT I have severe sleeping issues. Well, not sleeping issues, waking up issues. I'm not a deep sleeper but I am persistent. I have other issues (possibly apnea, definite insomnia) that I am working on, but I've been trying to get a handle of getting myself out of bed. I can get a full nights good sleep and still want to sleep more in the morning. I caught a glimpse of a normal life for a brief window using Puzzle Alarm. I attached an NFC sticker to my tumbler filled with cold brew in my fridge. The alarm would not turn off until I swiped it to an NFC sticker. I'd get up, swipe my phone to the sticker, grab the cold brew, sit down, drink it and wake up Then, after a few weeks, my sleep-addled brain figured out a shortcut: when my alarm goes off I just restart my phone. Half the time I don't wake up enough to remember doing it. I figured multiple alarms a couple minutes a part would still do the trick, but after I realized restarting circumvented the alarm(s), I'd just do it multiple times. This is Half Android Apps, Half Life Hacks, but I'm looking for any suggestions or ideas to ensure not only does not restarting my phone bypass my alarm(s) but also that I have to get out of bed to stop them from continuing to go off. Posted: 09 Aug 2018 12:02 PM PDT Are there any legitimate key logger apps for Android? They are all pay for use, and I can't determine which ones are going to work and which ones are scams. Any recommendations? Need to monitor texts (both sides of the conversation), FB Messenger (both sides of the conversation), browser history, phone calls, pictures, location, e-mails, etc. I just have no idea where to start! Is there a free&ad-free color combo generator that generate combo based on 1-3 selected colors? Posted: 09 Aug 2018 05:34 AM PDT Hi. The example of an app that I need is Coolors (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.fabrizio.coolors). Here you can enter one-three colors and "lock" them. The other 2(4) colors will be generated automatically when you press "Generate". The issue in that, that this app is paid, and I don't want to pay for that app. I need free version. Any recommendations? [link] [comments] |
SoundCloud ad-free alternative? Posted: 08 Aug 2018 11:49 PM PDT Hi. I don't like official SoundCloud app. Please recommend me ad-free music services or ad-free apps that can play tracks from SC. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 08 Aug 2018 07:56 PM PDT The MQT Engine Discord server needs more developers knowledgeable in Android app building! We're a large, friendly group of technological problem-solvers just having a good time learning, chatting about our projects, and helping each other out. Check us out here: https://discord.gg/2hCNqZ7 We're always looking for new friends, mentors, or students, and hope to see you there! (I'm assuming this counts as app-related. Posted: 09 Aug 2018 01:53 AM PDT As the title says. Basically I would like to "clean" my track before i upload it. Remove spider/stars from being stationery. Maybe remove the first and last sections so I dont tell everyone my home address etc. Remove the part where I forget to stop recording and drive home :). I can do all this on my PC, but dont want to lug around my laptop on holiday. Any suggestion would be fantastic. [link] [comments] |
