| Looking for weather app that supports landscape mode Posted: 29 Aug 2018 07:29 AM PDT I have an old Android phone set up as a clock at my desk, and I'd like to be able to pull up the weather on it as well. The problem is that I have the phone mounted horizontally, and all the weather apps I've tried so far don't support landscape mode. | Newpipe vs Youtube Vanced - if you have tried both and stuck with Newpipe, why? Posted: 28 Aug 2018 04:40 PM PDT I see Newpipe still often being suggested as the alternative to the stock youtube app, yet YT Vanced exists. Is that because Vanced is quite new in the scheme of things or because there is something Newpipe does which Vanced doesn't? I have to assume anyone still using Newpipe hasn't tried Vanced, or for some reason they can't get it installed. So if you have tried both and still prefer Newpipe, I am interested in knowing why. (sesame street, etc) Is there an app that can act as a media player with access to all libraries of media on the tablet? Sort of like plex, but with no need for internet access. I'm looking for some kind of childlock-like app which lets someone set a password for say the play store but without the whole geofencing and nsfw filtering stuff parents like so much. I'm only finding apps that block nsfw or don't prevent me from unblocking apps (I know I will cheat if I can) or have the whole helicopter parent package. Because I have tested with multiples accounts. With 60 fps video, other accounts run smoothly at 60 fps. But on my main account, it runs like 30 fps. And with 30 fps video. Or is there any API to extract app details from Playstore? I am not a dev and not very familiar with API, but I think I can try my luck with Tasker/Autoapps community and see if anything works. Firstly these features would be quick to access from the main screen or lock screen. Say I want to budget $450 a month for non essential spending. The widget would divide that and show you your daily spending allowance $15/day. This number would continually roll over showing how over or under budget you are. To add a transaction I would press either a $1, $5, $10 button, no categories, no going into the app, just 1 press. A nice feature would be to change color to indicate how recently you made an input, so you don't double down. Thanks for reading, maybe someone can help me find this. [link] [comments]  |
