How quick should Android One actually be at updating? Posted: 31 Aug 2018 06:45 AM PDT So the idea behind Android one is that buying such a device allows for swift security updates and at least a couple of OS updates. However we have already started to see that there is fragmentation in speed of release - for example although today is the end of August - UK based Nokia 7 plus users still do not have an august update (although released in other markets). In other markets, HTC android one devices have not had an update. How quick should android one be or should users simply expect - 'you'll get something at some point'? [link] [comments]

Can we talk about the differences in fitness apps accuracy? (Pics below) Posted: 31 Aug 2018 12:21 PM PDT So i worked a 12 hour shift yesterday from about 6 to 6ish I have both Google Fit (because of the new MD 2) and S-Health cause i had it to begin with. I knew there was going to be some difference between the stats it gives me...but this isn't small at all. Which is more accurate? and why is there such a big difference between the two? Which do you prefer? Edit: Numbers for those who don't wanna click the screenshots: Google Fit: I walked 4.87 miles and burned 2,291 calories S-Health: I walked 6.56 miles and burned 566 calories [link] [comments]

The another advantage is they are usually ad-free and less resource-hungry than shady ad-filled apps or tracking-heavy apps. PS: Many of above apps are available on F-droid but not play store. Eg: NewPipe. comment any other nice open source apps you know. [link] [comments] |
