    Nice own-goal Xiaomi. I was stressed that my phone would need the 15 day wait when it arrived but it had an unlocked bootloader. Really has made my day.

    Wasn't the point of locking it to stop vendors from flashing crappy ROMs? Now they can just unlock en mass 15 days delay.

    I really want to buy the Mipad 4 to have with me on holiday, I'm thinking of buying it from Aliexpress, but the version they are selling there do not have a "global rom" it does support English language which is fine by me.

    The thing I'm wondering about is if I will be able to flash it to a global rom in the future if Xiaomi release it, and also is that complicated to do? (Never done it before)

    Also, will I be able to download apps from APKmirror and install them? (Supposedly it does not support Google play)

    Hey guys. So, the wait is over, 360hs and the bootloader on my phone is unlocked, so I wanted to know what to install. I'm tempted on MIUI 10 but read that it lags a bit, it's fair since it's a beta. I was looking into the MIUI 10 from Xiaomi EU or some Android Stock ROM.

    Which one do you guys recommend? And with which kernels or mods?

    Unlocking bootloader Redmi 5 plus

    I tried unlocking mine and have searched for a way to bypass the stupid 360 hour thing. I gave up but wanted to know. The 360 hours : Did they start when I bought the phone or when I tried unlocking it?

    Can't change region (Xiaomi Mi5 Prime, MIUI 10 Global Beta)

    Hi, so I installed MIUI 10 Global 8.6.21 Beta on my Xiaomi Mi 5 Prime and when I entered Themes app, it was in Chinese. I started researching I found that it might be because the region is set to China, and it was actually set to China but I set it to UK I think when I did the setup. Then I clicked on region to changed but it just went back to settings. Can you help me?

    Can I use icon packs with Xiaomi build-up launcher?

    Okay, kinda Xiaomi related. My Mi5 looks, uhh, boring after a year of using it. I'd love to change at least those square icons. So, are there any icon packs that work with Xiaomi launcher, or do I really have to install Nova or something similar to use them?

    As the title mention, i wanna buy one of these 2 smartphones i really like the Mix 2 and i have almost enough to afford it. but i don't know if the difference between these 2 is worth spending more than 100$ of difference on the Mix 2. I will mostly use my phone to: Surf on the internet Photo And i need the phone to be very responsive No gaming at all Loud speakers Good screen
