| Bad RAM management on OnePlus 6. Posted: 29 Jul 2018 06:48 AM PDT So I have the 6GB variant of the OnePlus 6, and I can barely keep 5 apps open in the background before the apps start to reload, especially when I open the camera. I heard so much about the good RAM on the OnePlus, but so far it's very underwhelming. Here's my RAM usage even though I have no apps in the background right now. | Posted: 29 Jul 2018 11:35 AM PDT So I decided to give DP3 a try. So far so good. I read somewhere here on Reddit that Verizon was working with DP3. I put my wife's Verizon SIM into my OP6 and, lo and behold, Verizon works. I was able to make and receive calls, and data was working fine. No VoLTE, though. The phone was on Band 4/66 the whole time. So Verizon does work, albeit on a limited basis. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 29 Jul 2018 11:11 AM PDT I saw this link https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/07/07/android-p-shows-current-weather-conditions-lock-screen-ambient-mode/ but this doesn't work for me on the Android P beta. I have location on, latest Google app beta, tried uninstalling updates on Google app, rebooting, even installed Pixel ambient services from play store even though I thought you weren't supposed to be able to get it from play store on non-pixel devices, etc and I can't get it to work. Must of been dancing and it slipped out my pocket :( I know that someone has picked it up and has remained in possession of it as when one of my friends called it, someone answered but swiftly hung up and turned the phone off. However, i recently noticed that the microphone on the headphones is not being used while recording audio, whether it be on the recorder app or instagram stories.
