Need help moving apple SSD files to Windows 10 Posted: 01 Jul 2018 03:37 PM PDT My MacBook Air's logic board is bad, turns on for 2 mins then shuts off. However I prefer to just move all the files rather then fix the logic board(cheaper solution). Since I don't have enough time to transfer files via usb I decided to just remove the apple SSD (APPLE SSD SM0256F) and throw it on my test bench PC. Apple's SSD aren't pc friendly so I bought a adapter to make it m.2 compatible (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076P87ZYP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I assume the adapter is fine since I can see the device in my disk management and disk manager, but noticed in the event page i get this error: Device SCSI\Disk&Ven_APPLE&Prod_SSD_SM0256F\5&19a0178c&0&000000 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match. Last Device Instance Id: USBSTOR I'm going to use HFSexplorer to read the files but it can't load the partitions on the SSD, I assume it is due to the error above. Anyone know how to fix?
