Posted: 01 Jun 2018 02:44 AM PDT I've read that the Google type c to headphone jack adapter is better than the HTC one and works with the U11, but on XDA someone said that their Pixel 2 XL's adapter wouldn't work with their U11+. Can anyone confirm if the Google made adapter works with the U11+? Also, has anyone tried the Razer adapter with a U11+? [link] [comments]  |
| HTC U play seriously bad battery issues. Posted: 31 May 2018 11:03 PM PDT I have a u play, which worked great for a couple months until the battery started playing up. I can usually get about half way through the day before I get to 25%, which then always drops to 13% and then straight to 0% within the space of ten minutes. I am only using it to check emails and respond to texts and calls, as anything else now drains the battery in minutes. This was something I could deal with by regularly charging, but now it is not even doing that. Last night I had to leave it on charge as I slept, and woke up to it only on 27% after 7 hours of charging, and I now cannot remove the charger without the battery panicking and shutting down. It was telling me that charge may be slow due to the charger not being HTC (which is wrong, I bought a brand new HTC branded charger when it first showed the error) and now it's saying that it is unable to charge due to too much running, even though no apps are running, Bluetooth etc is off and screen brightness is right down. Turning it off to charge does not make a difference. I have done a factory reset with no improvement. My lock screen says three days till full charge. Do I just need a new battery? | Need help finding the proper RUU for my HTC Posted: 31 May 2018 02:20 PM PDT I'm in the process of trying to repair my phone. Apparently I need a new RUU, which I'm supposed to download on my computer than then install on my phone. Sounds simple, but I need to find the exact same RUU as the one used on my phone and that is not so simple. This website seem to have exactly what I need, but they ask of me that I sign up a paying account and I find that suspicious. | Posted: 31 May 2018 07:29 AM PDT So I'm looking to upgrade from my M9 to the U12. I originally had the M7 years ago. HTC used to send promos to my phone and I'm wondering if anyone has a promo code to share? I asked their CS they said no promo codes but if you go check out and abandon the cart you'll get an email giving you free two day shipping which I'm going to guess comes with the phone anyway.
