[Help] I was looking into Bias Lighting for my 65" 4k tv. Any recommendations? Posted: 01 May 2018 08:21 AM PDT Color changing are cool but Ive heard they are glitchy. Any of you guys have any recommendations. I'm unfamiliar with Bias Lighting but think it looks awesome. Thanks! [link] [comments]
[HELP] Problem with headphone jack Posted: 01 May 2018 07:51 AM PDT I've just gotten a new pair of headphones, and when I'm trying to watch videos on my phone, there is no sound, even though the volume isn't muted. Can someone tell me what's wrong with the headphone jack, and what I can do to fix it, please? I've checked for dust inside the jack itself, but that's not a problem. I have also tried different pairs of headphones, but they don't work either. [link] [comments]
Is there a way to get the home button touch animation from the pixel on the s9+? Posted: 01 May 2018 07:50 AM PDT I know that the pixelized them will change the home touch buttons to look like the pixel. But what I mean is when you only press the circle home button and then the green, blue, red, yellow lines appear on the sides of the circle. Is there a way to get that on the s9? I think it looks really cool lol [link] [comments]
[Help] Samsung Galaxy S7 wont charge, and smells like burning electronics when plugged in. Posted: 01 May 2018 07:06 AM PDT This happened literally an hour after installing an update. I've already been told that the cracks on the back of my phone mean Samsung won't repair anything for me for free, even though I bought a 2 year warranty. Is this just a charger/battery problem? If so, can I just go to a kiosk and get it fixed for cheap? Or would the problem be fixed if I used a wireless charger? [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Apr 2018 08:49 PM PDT I'm not a bad annunciater or anything but I realise Bixby can't distinguish between 8 and it and it is very annoying. I love Samsung's phones and I'm trying to give Bixby the benefit of the doubt but if they don't better it's voice recognition patterns I'll disable the virtual assistant soon. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 May 2018 02:32 AM PDT I have an old Samsung Galaxy S6 and i don't know what to do with it. I don't want to abandon it and not use it. Any suggestions on how I should use my S6? Maybe as a GPS? Thanks for your help! [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 May 2018 01:41 AM PDT I bought a new Samsung galaxy tab A on amazon, and only just saw some reviewers saying they received the 2016 version instead of the 2018. Any ideas of how I can tell the difference? Many thanks! [link] [comments]
Samsungs next model of phone - another version for battery. Posted: 01 May 2018 12:31 AM PDT I'm not fussed about facial recognition or a finger print scanner... when I bought my gaming laptop, none of this was a feature and I went big on specs. Would it be possible that samsung did this for the 20% or so of people who aren't bothered about a facial regnition or finger print scanner and instead used the extra room for battery and possibly a bit of extra ram. I'd 100% buy the next model if this was done. I'm not really hot for any of the options of smartphones available from any company - it seems they're actually reducing battery size each generation too. Edit: in short... I'd like a smartphone for when I go out... am carefree of worrying about charging it for the whole day. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Apr 2018 11:55 PM PDT I have these two files that when I delete them they keep coming back an hour later and i was wondering what i can do to stop them from coming back in my files on the s9 [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Apr 2018 08:19 AM PDT I am looking for a smartwatch and I really like the S3. My only concern is that I don't own a Samsung phone. So how well does it work with pure Android Oreo? And how good is the watch for tracking runs and heartrate? [link] [comments]

Samsung A5 2017 home screen lag problem Posted: 30 Apr 2018 10:27 PM PDT For some reason, my home screen started to lag a lot and I can't seem to stop it. I've tried restarting my phone, deleted apps, reduce memory usage, removed widgets etc. I turned on safe mode and it runs smoothly, but when I turned it off it's back to the original slow laggy interface. What's weird is that when I use the apps menu or if I view a folder from the home screen or even move some apps around in the home screen, it's normal and smooth. Even when im using apps, its smooth (most of the time) It's getting annoying and I don't know how to fix it. Please help and thank you for reading this TL;DR: home screen lags on A5 only when on home screen -- editing home screen, apps screen, viewing folders are all smooth [link] [comments]
Other app alternatives to Game Launcher? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 02:44 PM PDT I really like the utility of Game Launcher, but the app ads for PUBG and etc. are annoying. Are there any third party alternatives out there? [link] [comments]

HAS ANYBODY EXPERIENCED SAMSUNG REPAIR PROCESS? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 04:46 PM PDT For better clarity, I will put it in steps.
So basically, they first charged me $500 to replace the whole motherboard instead of getting the plastic piece out of the SIM slot. After some frustration, they finally promised to fix it for free of charge. Then they pulled, "sorry dont have parts, you wont get your phone fixed, heres ur phone back" What the fuck? Has anyone else gone through this bullcrap before? https://i.redd.it/d3q7k4gzt4v01.jpg https://i.redd.it/0qg23vw0u4v01.jpg [link] [comments]
Problems taking and saving photos/video with Camera app on Galaxy S9+ Posted: 30 Apr 2018 07:37 PM PDT Bought it just a few days ago. I've taken Snaps and they work fine. When it comes to using the Camera app, everything is messed up. When I try to record video, It says "failed to record"; when I try to take pictures, they appear as a thumbnail, but when I click on them, it's just a grey box with a ! at the center (and they don't appear in the Gallery or Photos app). I have tried clearing data and cache of all three apps. I have tried restarting the phone. I have tried rebooting the phone. Nothing works and I'm pretty annoyed by it at this point. Any thoughts? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 07:01 PM PDT Hello, I just bought a Galaxy S8, as my Moto is on its last legs. I bought it outside the US as I am currently deployed. The store clerk said it would be unlocked but judging by the model number (SM-G950F) which is for Europe it is not. The box said in order to remove this regional lock that I would need to use a Sim card from here and make a 5 minute phone call. Also I am not able to activate the device in My Verizon as it says it isn't compatible. Would unlocking it regionally fix that ? If not what should I do with phone ? My understanding is returns are only accepted if unopened. [link] [comments]
Galaxy A5 2017 home screen lag out of nowhere and most apps disappear Posted: 30 Apr 2018 05:37 PM PDT Everything was normal throughout the day until for some reason, I started getting lots of home screen lag and for some reason my apps disappeared from my home screen. When I navigate through the app screen or when I try to move apps around in the home screen, it's smooth (most of the time). I've tried rebooting, and turning on safe mode (No home screen lag while safe mode was on), deleted caches, deleting some apps etc. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Apr 2018 05:25 PM PDT On eBay the Note 8 is $679.99 its a very good deal I want to buy it but I'm on the fence with the Note 9 that's around the corner should I wait or should buy the Note 8? [link] [comments]
Are any batteries cross-compatible with other models? Posted: 30 Apr 2018 05:07 PM PDT The battery on my Galaxy Grand Max has just about worn out completely, so I'm looking for a replacement. The only problem is that I live in Australia where the Grand Max wasn't released, and so I'm wondering if there are any other batteries I can buy that would fit. The model number on the battery seems to be EB-BG720CBK [link] [comments] |
