    Maybe a little info would be helpful... in my infinite wisdom my s7 edge made it's way into the washing machine today. I stopped it before any major washing cycle started and got it out asap. It seems to be working absolutely fine after doing the usual preventative measures (rice, silica gel, take apart and leave somewhere warm and dry etc) but there's a small problem with the headphone jack.

    At first it wasn't auto detecting so I got a brush pick and fiddled around in there - managed to clear out some fluff and a few bits of rice that had gotten stuck and sorted that problem out. However now only the left ear works and I know it's the phone itself.

    Any ideas that could help fix this? I'm pretty tech savvy and don't mind taking it to bits if that's what it takes but I'd rather not if there's a simpler solution. I've heard a cotton bud and some alcohol might help?

    iPhone 8plus to Samsung s9?

    Hi guys, I'm very strongly considering switching from my iPhone 8plus to the Samsung s9. Nervous because I'm fully apart of the iOS ecosystem (iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods) and have never had an Android before.

    Any advice you guys can give me / pros to using Samsung over Apple.

    Also s9 or s9+ what do you like best

    Taking my S8 to another country, how can I use it there?

    Hey guys, I have a question, I own an S8 that locked to Verizon, and I was wondering if there was a way that I could be able to use it over there. I'm heading to India in a little under two weeks, and I don't exactly want to buy a whole new phone over there just to communicate with my family. Am I able to just insert a prepaid sim card into my phone, or will I have to do some wonky shit to get it to work?

    How to clean the screen of a Galaxy S8/Note 8 without scratching it?

    Hello,
    is there any way to clean the screen of phones without scratching it? I got a Galaxy Note 8 today and ~12 hrs of usage I can already see one micro-scratch under bright light (that means my ceiling light), and I just used my finger to remove some dust particles when they fall down on the screen.
    That's why I'm worried to use microfiber cloth to clean the screen, dry or wet doesn't matter.....

    Also a question I wanted to ask, do you also have problems with dust when using your phone? Like some small particles which settle down on the screen by just using it, nothing big of course.

    Can't sync Exchange calendar on Samsung J3.

    I configured an Exchange e-mail on a employee's phone, like I always do here at work, and I noticed that the calendar events are not synchronizing. I just selectd to sync calendar and not e-mails and contacts, and nothing changes. I did the process a lot of times, I rebooted the phone, and nothing.

    I tested on an iPhone and it's working on the first try.

    Does anyone had a problem like this?

    [help] headphones disconnect easily

    my new S9 just arrived and i can't help but notice that my earphones get unplugged very easily, especially when the connector is rotated. is this some design feature or should i get my phone checked?

    my earphone uses an L-shaped connector if that explains the rotation

    I just got the Gear IconX (2018 Edition) and it seems to work fine. Except, once I put my earbuds in the charging case and connect the case to my phone to add music, it cannot connect. If I take the buds out of the case, they connect without issue.

    The main problem here is that I can't manage music from my phone. And if I want to add music, I can only do so over Bluetooth, which seems like it takes a while. Any ideas?

    Constant echo on callers end when talking through hand set

    I only have an echo when I'm talking using the handset and the person in the other end can hear their voice echoing back. This doesnt go away, happens with every one I call or anyone who calls me, happens everywhere I take a call. There are no problems when I use speaker though. I've had my phone sent for repair twice already and samsung wants me to send it again ffs....

    Anyone know of any fixes for this issue that I can do myself and save the hassle of sending my phone away again?

    I've deleted the talkback app. I've made sure concert hall effect is turned off. I've obviously factory reset several times. The issue happens on wifi and off. Blue tooth on and off. Literally happens all the fucking time.

    Lightly hit my screen and now half the screen is blank... Help me save my Memos?

    My phone is a Samsung S6.

    Tonight I tossed my phone onto my bed and it lightly bounced against the wall, which to my surprise has caused three quarters of the screen to go blank. I have some memos that are VERY important to me. A family member of mine passed away earlier this week and some information I need of them are saved on a memo.

    All I want to recover from this is that 1 memo. Ideally I'll save my phone too, but the memo is more important to me.

    I can connect my phone to the laptop and retrieve photos and videos, but I don't seem to be able to retrieve memos from it.

    I've done a lot of googling and tried some save techniques, but nothing is working for me. I can try taking my phone into the store tomorrow and see what they recommend, but if anybody has any tips beforehand it would be a huge help.

    So please, tips and recommendations and welcome, thank you.

    Hello, I recently got a note 5 (I know its old, I wanted a phone with a pen). Anyways i'm having an issue where if I have it in my pocket, anytime that the top of bottom hits my leg bluetooth will get knocked out for a bit. Any ideas why this would be? I can't seem to replicate this if it is not in my pocket, and its worse if its in my back pocket rather than my front. Thanks in advance for the help!

    Attempting to retrieve data from locked and broken screen Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

    My S7 Edge was great for about a year. Yesterday, (much longer than a year than I've had the phone,) I tried to turn it on and the screen is fucked. Flashing green lines, cannot touch.

    I switched phone providers because I got on my mom's plan and got an S9+

    I had a microusb in my s7 edge so I am not super concerned about my pictures and whatnot but I am at a loss as far as my contacts and text messages go.

    Text messages are not as important, just really want my contacts. Any way to do this?

    Also worth mentioning that I had a passcode lock on my edge which I know but cannot enter because the screen is broken.
