| 5t extreme battery drain after update Posted: 02 May 2018 12:20 PM PDT So I updated my phone this weekend to android 8.1 (automatic update). And now my phone have a battery life at about 8 hours on standby, compared to nearly 2 days of mixed usage. The phone is constantly warm, like it have been active for a while. I'm worried that it might take up most of the space overtime. are there any solutions to this? ibe tried clearing the cache and data but it says that the app itself is 412mb. also, the camera lags for a while upon start up when there's too much light or too little. it also stutters a bit after taking the shot. this is after the latest update. is this normal? I've had my phone for half a year and thought updates would fix it but none have. When I add a second language the spell check doesn't work for the original language most of the time, if I switch between them sometimes it starts working, sometimes it works for the original language but not for the second language, if I just have the 2nd language and remove the 1st it works fine. Posted: 02 May 2018 03:28 PM PDT If you've never used this app, it does a very simple thing: it automatically turns on the speaker and microphone when you pull the phone away from your face, so you can continue your call on speaker, and reverts to normal mode when you put it up to your face again. It is incredibly useful, and works perfectly, but OnePlus has now changed something and does not allow external apps to turn the speaker on or off. | Should oneplus focua more on enterprise/bussines features? Posted: 02 May 2018 01:58 PM PDT I am working as a sysadmin and every 1.5-2 years we need to order new phones for our workforce. The obvious choices for these phones are Samsung or apple which I both hate. So this year a small new team was setup in our company and I was in the position to choose phones. I grabbed this chance to opt for OnePlus 5t phones and in the process was allowed to order one for myself as well. It was nice to finally get a company phone I would actually use (been using my private op3 with business sim as secondary untill this point) However once I got the go ahead I ran into some issues, the first one being that OnePlus does not sell more than 4phones per customer/order. I contacted OnePlus sales asking them if I could bulk order (15 to begin with) An literally haven't heard from them since one month ago. Further more Samsung and apple both offer features to quickly configure/image phones and semi automatically connect them to mobile device manant software. OnePlus offers none of these features. Wouldn't it be nice if OnePlus also caters to the Enterprise users? It surely would make me happy TLDR; I think OnePlus should invest in business features and make their phones available for bulk orders [link] [comments]  | ||

Since then, I can no longer use my microphone when i connect the phone to my car with an Aux cable. So I can't do phone calls, I can't use "Ok google" and so on...
