    Mi Mix 2 WhatsApp images not showing in Gallery

    A friend has a Mi Mix 2 (I got a RN4G) and the photos he receives in WhatsApp don't appear in the Gallery app. I tried installing Simple Gallery from the Play Store and still, nothing. It doesn't seem to be any .nomedia file. What can possibly cause this? He is going to do a backup in Google Drive, reinstall the app and see what happens. But in the meantime, I'm looking for any info that could be helpful.

    I don't even use Facebook. ES Task Manager informed me that the app is wired to 9 startup events.

    Into the trash it goes!

    Can someone do a measurement of battery drain before and after deleting the app? Preferrably in a mostly doze scenario like.. over night?

    Miui 9.5 Redmi 4x here.

    Xiaomi mi 5x Snapchat notifications not working

    Any fix for this yet? Does anyone even have Snapchat working properly on mi 5x?

    I have all permissions set right and notifications enabled. ( 99% sure about that since Whatsapp notifications are working properly with same settings.)

    I have MIUI 9.5.3.0 | Stable and Android version 7.1.2

    [Help] Redmi Note 4x doesn't boot suddenly

    I turned off my phone when it had 4% to save battery untill I get home. When I turned it on, the phone got stuck on the mi logo for a long time and didn't boot.

    Tried charging for sometime, and it still didn't boot.

    Upgrade from Redmi Note 3 Pro

    Hello guys! I got my Redmi N3Pro around 4 years ago and it's been a joyful ride with lots of bumps on the way. Right now the phone is showing signs of old age, like touchscreen recognizing point of contact somewhere else, battery draining too fast, random crashes, sometimes it just has a life of its own. I need an upgrade but i'm at loss with the amount of possibilities to choose. What are some of the best budget and midrange options to go for? I guess since it's been 4 years everything is an upgrade from Redmi N3Pro right?

    So my Mi6 updated to 9.5 Stable 9.5.6.0 Last night, and I've noticed a few differences, some positive, some negative. I was wondering if anyone had any solutions to the below:

    Notification bar - I prefer the fact that notifications from the same app are rolled into one. However, I still wish Material Notification Shade worked as I hate the toggle/weather section at the top. To make it worse, I can't even use the Themes app as it's "not supported in my region (UK). Any MNS alternatives/other ways of changing this?

    Opening browser links from apps - Some links on my Reddit client (Boost) gives the option to choose which browser to open with. It used to offer Chrome and DuckDuckGo (my 2 installed browsers), but now it only offers me the MIUI Browser on the first page (Screenshots), with the option of Chrome/DDG on another page. I'd rather not have to go to another page to choose between Chrome/DDG and I certainly don't want to use the MIUI Browser. Obviously I could just tick the "Remember my choice" and choose Chrome/DDG but I'd still like the choice. If there's not way to do this on the first screen, I'll just choose DDG as default (depite MIUI kindly unticking the "remember my choice" box when you go to the 'Non-MIUI Browser' page)

    Anyone have any suggestions/other problems?

    MI a1 screen after april update

    Just purchased a mi 6 from Hong Kong goldway with a nilkin glass screen protector

    No screen protector came with the phone separately, I messaged them and they said it came already applied, I can't see a screen protector on the phone, so I just wanted to see if it is a great screen protector you can't see or if they are lying/forgot

    Change Xiaomi mi book to English?

    Soon I will buy one and I see a few guides online. I know I can format C but I'm worried about finding the drivers in English and updating the bios correctly. Is it possible to update the Chinese OS to English? If I change the China product key to windows 10 pro key would that work?
