Laptop issue: hard drive seems to be the only thing turning on

    Hi!

So this is happening on a Sony Vaio VPCSB. It used to work great but stopped for a mysterious reason.

When I try to power it up, nothing happens (screen stays black, no LED) but I can hear the hard drive running. Long-pressing the power button to force shutdown does nothing, so the only way to stop the hard drive is to remove the battery. This is happening while plugged and unplugged.

Now the circumstances: I moved out last month, by plane. The laptop used to work before the trip, and stopped after. But I didn't put it with my luggage in the hold, it was always with me in my bag, and didn't suffer any impact. So I don't know if the trip is a coincidence or not!

Anyone ever seen this kind of issue?

    Thanks in advance!

My MSI GT72 Dominator Pro gets stuck at MSI screen then shuts off.

From some brief reading on the net some suggestions are corrupt files and possibly bad drive in raid array. Wanted to post on here and get any suggestions from the reddit community. My MSI Laptop has done this a couple times before where it will get stuck at MSI screen before loading wheel spins and turns off, in the past it would do it once maybe twice and not often then go on as normal. It now is not getting past the screen at all, I hear it boot the light indicating accessing drives lights up and I hear the fan kick on. After 5 seconds it then shuts off. I was hoping to see if anyone has any suggestions on what it could be or what I could do. Thanks!

    Windows 10 random clicks

Computer is randomly clicking like every couple of minutes. I have updated drivers, unplugged mouse, unplugged key board, turned off internet, ran virus and malware scans, no new program installs, no new updates. Still randomly left clicks.
