| Posted: 02 Apr 2018 03:47 PM PDT I know for a fact that Windows 10 supports 3.5 inch floppy drives so I wondering if I could take it a step further, or backwards. Update: Windows 10 does support 5.25 in floppy drives!!!! Turns out is was a setting in my bios. I switched it from 1.44 mb floppy to 1.2 mb floppy support and it worked like a charm. It automatically adds English keyboard, so i got Russian, Norwegian and English when i switch thru keyboards. But i do not want the English one. Is there a way to disable it completely? | Posted: 02 Apr 2018 04:45 AM PDT I have an issue where my disk usage on task manager goes up to 100% whenever i open a program. Here is an example of what happens. I have google chrome, discord and task manager open and that is it. My disk usage is 0%. I open spotify. My disk usage goes up to 100% and spotify is only using 0.2 mb/s. I close spotify and do the same with blizzard app. Disk usage goes up to 100% but blizzard app is using 5 mb/s. This doesn't add up to me. I have tried multiple restarts and scans with malware bytes and my anti virus software and nothing comes up. I have disabled windows search and superfetch which was a short term solution but it is back. I have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Note: I have not cleaned my pc from dust in around a year (going to do it on tuesday need to wait for compressed air to arrive) Note: I have a gtx 1060 8gb of ram an I5 and a 1tb wd hdd, used to be able to run Overwatch at around 200 fps now constant frame rate drops even when capped at 60. It looks similar to this. The text reads as the title shows, "...at location 0x000000000768Eo8F2." Anyone else been getting this, and know what I can do to stop this from happening? | Notebook 3min baterry on full charge Posted: 02 Apr 2018 11:12 AM PDT Hi guys by the title it isn't matter of battery wear I hope atleast. I have msi OEM and my battery says 3 min when charging or on full charge unplugged. I think it's slowing my Notebook cause it want save battery I suppose which isn't right since it's good enough. One of the problem that I can guess need repair is connector for charging. But still that doesn't make battery to say 3 min. Also it can be underpowered but I can't measure by anything thanks to battery problem. When I try to play ds3 my fps goes from 60-40 to 16-8. Can somebody identificate what's the problem? Thanks. We purchased VGA splitters so that this can be done but all it's allowing us to do is Duplicate the screen. Windows isn't detecting another screen and using the Win + P also doesn't help, even when selecting "Extend Screen". This is a bit urgent and a rather important requirement. Plugging the HDMI out of the graphics card (GTX 1060) .. using another HDMI cable, using 2 different monitors. Each time there's no signal at all. Now every night my computer restarts itself - I think... It goes to the login menu, and programs I had closed like Rainmeter are reopened. I think it also might be closing my notepad notes which is far more frustrating considering how much I write on those. I've clearly disabled this option but it continues to restart. I've tried setting the image as read only, but the program deletes it and uses its own. How can I tell Windows that this program is only allowed to read this specific file? Not delete or move it? | XBOX One Controller Triggers Not Resposive Posted: 02 Apr 2018 04:40 AM PDT I am trying to use an XBOX One controller for gaming, however the controllers triggers do not work on any level. I have tested using Spelunky on Steam and this site: http://html5gamepad.com I have tested all versions of the drivers in the Device Manager, however all of them either do not fix the issue or stop the controller from working at all. Finally, in Settings, on the "Bluetooth and Other Devices" page, the controller is listed there, but only as "Controller," and not as "XBOX Controller" or something like that, as I believe it should be. There are no options when clicking or right clicking on the device name. Does anyone know how to fix this? I want to be able to move in Rocket League. I can share PC or controller specs if needed, however there may be a delay if wanting controller specs as I am borrowing it from a friend. Thanks in advance [link] [comments]  | ||
