| Heads up - Malwarebytes is flagging lots of legit software after new update Posted: 19 Apr 2018 07:12 AM PDT If you start getting some calls from users that have malwarebytes breaking their software, we found today that they have issued an update that includes "machine learning" signature less malware detection and it seems to particularly hate .NET based software among other apps. Their forums are now filled with people complaining about these false positives and it seems they are trying to white list app by app instead of pulling the broken feature until they can fix it. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/42-file-detections/ I have always been a big proponent of malwarebytes, but this is norton's "reputation scoring" level of shitty.
