    [request] multi-player turn-based RPG

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 09:58 PM PDT

I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons with some of my high school friends recently. We've been wanting to play something similar on our phones.

We do not want a game that requires us all to be online at the same time. We'd like to be able to play asynchronously.

    Also, we'd like:

    • 3 to 6 players
    • $10 or less
    • Be able to play with people on iOS too.

    Thanks!

Hi everyone. I'm looking for games like Merchant / The Villages beginning and Goblin Shop. Games where you can craft/collect and sell pretty much. I prefer this type of games with an idle complement if possible. Game can be free or pay to play.

    Thank you everyone !

Searching for an online multiplayer game like Pokemon

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 10:06 PM PDT

Anybody know a game like Pokémon? I'm only looking for the online battle part.. Like having 1 "monster" fight another. I only found games which are like summoner war but I don't really like those type of games.

Edit: it doesn't have to be free to play

After working for 3 months, I have launched my first puzzle game for Android. I would love to have your suggestions about it.

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 04:11 AM PDT

    Hey guys,

I am a student and a beginner in Android development. I have developed and published an app and a game before when I was learning the basics. I started working on my game 3 months ago and it's finally out.

You can play the game for free here

    About the game:

'here' is a simple and minimal puzzle game that requires you to think out of the box on every single level. The objective of the game is quite simple. All you have to do is make or find the word 'here'. That's right. Just connect, break, align the words and make the word.

In case you if you're stuck on a level and can't find the word, you can tap the 'hint' button and get some help. I try to make animations smooth and some challenging creative levels that'll hook up to this game. Hope you will like it :).

The game asks for no permissions and all the data (your progress) is saved locally on your device.

I released the game weeks ago. I would love to have any kind of feedback or suggestions about the game. There have been a few bugs which the users encountered during and which I try to fix it, so feel free to mention any problem or bug that I should take care of.

    Criticism is highly appreciated.

Looking For: game you can help friends and vice versa

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 01:56 PM PDT

Hello! My girlfriend and I have grown tired of Clash royale and are now looking for a new mobile game to play together. Just so you guys know, in not talking about those Facebook send lives to your friend games like candy crush. We both really enjoyed clash royale for over a year and we are looking for something that we can play together and hopefully help each other out. Kind of like the clan setting. Preferably not 100% p2w, but we don't mind throwing a few dollars at a game here and there.

    Thanks in advance!

[DEV] I made a Q*bert style game with power-ups and upgrades

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 05:24 PM PDT

Hey guys, I told myself that I wanted to publish a game before I graduate, and here it is, Pyramid Run. It's loosely based on a game my Dad showed me when I was a kid (Q*bert) that I absolutely loved! Any feedback or comments you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

[Request] Lords Mobile, but not as pay to win.

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 02:38 PM PDT

I am looking for an empire-builder strategy game in the veins of Lords Mobile, where you essentially grind troops, buildings and research to grow your overall power. After you get strong enough, you move your castle next to the ones of your clan members and try to take over the server.

What I love about Lords Mobile in specific is the heroes system. You collect and rank up characters, and then use them in dungeonds and rallies.

I doubt I'll find a game that has both of these elements, but who knows.

[Request] kingdom game similar to Ikariam

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 07:30 AM PDT

I'm looking for a kingdom building game (coc, game of war etc...), but from my past searches all i came up with are too much p2w games, not a lot of things to do besides a no brainer "click here, click there, build this" and no real stratrgy elements. I want tbe same experience you had in the past like with Ikariam, which has p2w elements, but you can play without it just fine with no problem.

I want it to be multiplayer ofc. Not too much p2w, atleast let me be able play without having to pay. Base building and evolving, i like the concept a lot, getting resources and stuff. You get my point.

    [Request] Offline vertical jRPG

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 07:05 AM PDT

I need a game to play when I'm on a train from home to work and since jRPGs are my favorite genre ever, I want something jRPG-like, at least in terms of basic gameplay. There are good Android jRPGs, ports, original titles, emulators and such, but AFAIK they all have one problem: they are horizontal. I find landscape mode and especially playing games in this mode extremely uncomfortable. So, in bullet-point format:

    • One-handed, vertical game. Main limiter of options. I tried to search here but couldn't find anything, and any suggested jRPG I saw here were in landscape mode
    • Completely offline. There are a lot of places on my way to work where connection drops from barely tolerable to nearly nonexistant. I tried to play F2P jRPGs like FFRK before and, while it's enjoyable experience, I can't do it when I need it
    • Turn-based battle system. ATB and such are also okay, but ability to distract myself or doze off and then be "What was I doing again" instead of "Nooo, everybody's dead!"
    • Any sort of complexity. So there are more varied strategies than just "Attack, attack, attack, attack, victory" and "Apply element A to monster B repeatedly until it's dead"
    • Customization options to exploit this complexity
    • Party of characters. Not a deal-breaker, but would be nice

There actually is a game that matches these; but I played Knights of Pen and Paper so much, I got tired of it. So, it's more a question of "Is there any other games like this?". There is also Buriedbornes, which I enjoyed for a while, but combination of solo-character, broken translation, low graphics and the fact that I accidentally lost all my data discourage me from going back

[Request] What are your favorite word games?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 07:53 PM PDT

    Hey folks,

I have a habit of playing word games in bed at the end of the day to unwind a little bit. I really enjoy Crossword by Redstone Games, Snap Attack by Microsoft, and Wordiest by Concreterose.

These have been getting a little stale lately, though. I still like them, but I'm looking for something new to explore.

    I'm looking for:

    Free to play

    Online/Offline (doesn't matter)

    Singleplayer or multiplayer

Games I have played but haven't particularly liked: Words with Friends, Alphabetty Saga, Word Cross

    Thanks!

Questland - recently released turn-based first person dungeon crawler RPG

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 01:04 PM PDT

    Play Store link

I've been trying out the game for the past couple days (it has been released a week ago) and so far it's been a blast. If you can get past the VIP system (you get VIP stuff just by playing, from what I've seen) and the bajillion top-up events, which would normally be automatically no-no for me, the game is quite fun and fair for F2P players.

You get gems (premium currency) out of almost anything you do, and there are plenty of events that reward you with it constantly. Most of the high-end loot is also obtainable only by playing the game, although it will definitely take longer than just swiping your credit card.

The game has loads of different systems and most are unlocked as you play and evolve. I haven't been able to unlock even half of them it seems. So there is a energy system, but at the same time there is so much to do that it doesn't feel TOO restrictive. I am not a huge fan of energy based games generally, but I do understand why developers need to gate content behind some form of timewall, or else addicted people would just rush to endgame after 16hours straight playing and ditch the game. Questland seems to parse it well.

The developers are active on Facebook and in-game, and seem to be caring about what the community thinks of the development. They are also actively adding new stuff and adjusting old stuff, it seems.

It's free after all, so I highly commend you guys try it.

Optionally, I got a secret code that you can use for some free gems and other goodies: U37 VZE QA7

Feel free to share your thoughts, secret codes (we can use loads of them) and also questions if you got them, I'd be happy to answer if I can.

    [Request] Game suggestions?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 11:03 AM PDT

Hiya I was looking for a competitive game that my friends and I could play thats quick and decently polished?

We're looking for a game along the lines of clash royale or even mobile legends(though this game can last quite long). Doesn't have to be the same genre of games or anything and not necessarily looking for clones. Just something that we could play for like 5-10 min and put down but with pvp aspects. Totally free would be nice but with IAP would be ok too and also if it could be played on both android and iOS?

    Thanks!

    Game Controller as keyboard

    Posted: 25 Apr 2018 10:16 AM PDT

Hello, I have a JXD S5110b. It still works great. The WiFi on my smart TV died, so I've been watching Netflix through that.

One thing, though, is that I wish it had a better keyboard. One suited for a console. It just has the stock Android keyboard from Android 4.4. The controller buttons do anything on the keyboard, I have to type on the screen or OTG a full keyboard - Bluetooth doesn't work on this device (not even through a dongle).

Anyone know of a keyboard that you can navigate with a D-Pad and type with on a controller? Like the one on the PS4, or PSP, or Nintendo Switch.
