Install Windows ISO on machine from another machine. Posted: 01 Mar 2018 01:45 AM PST Currently in a bit of a tight spot and looking for a way to install a windows ISO from a working windows install to a machine without a CD drive. I can't create a physical bootable USB. I can mount the HDD i'm looking to install in the working windows machine.. Dual booting 2 windows 10? Posted: 01 Mar 2018 02:27 AM PST Is it possible to dual boot windows 10 on the same SSD? I want to have 1 OS for personal use and 1 OS for work(software development). I read on the internet that it's not safe to do so, on the same drive, because it may corrupt one another, even though you are doing it on different partitions. P.S. I tried virtualbox, but its so laggy that even opening a chrome tab takes up to 1 min. Unfortunately, when he tried to play Breath of the Wild, he found he didn't have enough storage to start a new save game. I bought him a micro SD card for him to have an extra 100 gigs of memory, but I can't seem to make the damned thing save to the micro SD. Internet seems to randomly stop working from a few seconds to a minute over an ethernet connection Posted: 28 Feb 2018 11:12 AM PST So if I am gaming while connected to discord, my internet inexplicably freezes for a few seconds. During this time if I browse the internet I get a "Device isn't connected to the internet" prompt. I feel like this maybe packet loss, but I am not sure. This happens while my family is using the internet over the same router but they use it through wifi. Haven't been able to play due to the horrible lag. Btw the games are Paladins and Fortnite. HP Pavilion XG820 not working Posted: 01 Mar 2018 04:08 AM PST I recently bought an HP Pavilion XG820 pc. I plugged everything in, and nothing happens on screen. But the fans spin upon plugging it in. No keyboard, mouse, Floppy, or CD Drive loading. Sometimes nothing happened when plugging it in. if I want to turn it off while this is happening, I have to remove the power cord as the power button doesn't work. I thought it was the power supply so I bought a new one. Same result in which nothing besides the fans function. The only difference is now the HDD Orange light comes on & stays on. I got the Green power light to come on once when switching the HDD power connections. I've tried removing the 2 sticks of RAM (64MB & 256MB), removing Floppy Drive, CD Drive, even HDD, & no luck. Bluetooth not working unless... Avast randomly installed, won't let me uninstall Posted: 28 Feb 2018 08:20 PM PST Not exactly sure what caused it to install, but I know I didn't install it myself. Whenever I try to uninstall from control panel nothing happens. I tried it for maybe 20 minutes, kept staying on one screen nothing was happening. Something else interesting is that the AV doesn't even work. Specs: Intel Core i7 4770k, stock clocks, voltage 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 250GB Transcend SSD Asus GTX980 Cryorig H7 single dan Phanteks Enthoo Pro with all fans installed eVGA 650W PSU I'm currently trying to undervolt the CPU, which I started off at 1.06v. The CPU passed 8 hours of AIDA64 FPU stress test, but blue screens started appearing randomly. I then bumped the voltage in 0.005 increments till 1.1v, but the system still crashes when stressed with Prime95. Once finished I turned the PC on and everything turned on fine, but after 5 seconds the PC turned it self off and then rebooted. After I number of reboots the PC sometimes stays on but the boot EZ LED's show up and their is no video output. I am planning on taking it to my local computer shop for them to have a look at it, as well I rang them and they believe it's an issue with the front panel connectors. Is This Clock Speed And Temp For My GPU Safe? Posted: 28 Feb 2018 09:04 PM PST i just ordered a new gtx 1080 ti from MSI. Its The MSI Gaming X 1080 ti, and when i was playing PUBG today i noticed on msi afterburner it said the gpu clock speed was around 1900 to 1800 mhz when the advertised speed was around 1600 mhz or so. And the temp of the card during gameplay was sitting around 63-66 Celsius. Is this safe for my card is it normal? I never overclock my card i just use it with base speed but for some reason its still going above the advertised speeds. My Current Specs are... Sony Vegas lag across scenes Posted: 01 Mar 2018 02:51 AM PST i've noticed when i'm editing in sony vegas 15, when im previewing the video when it changes between scenes my CPU usage goes to like 70% (from like 15%) and the frames in the preview drop.
