Has anyone given this a try? It's not perfect but it saves me time. Currently works with WhatsApp, Skype, Hangouts, Twitter, Android Messages, and Facebook Messenger. Wish it had support for Textra though.

SHOUT - A map based messaging app. Please give honest feedback. [DEV]

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 03:06 AM PST

I'm working as part of an engineering team, Shout, to deliver a map based messaging app. We recently released it and I'm looking for feedback from you, the community.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.shoutapp.shout

You're at a gig, festival, convention, conference or just out in town. You want to know who and what's around you. What do you use right now? Twitter? Sure, but people can tweet with a hashtag from anywhere. The only way to see and message those around you is with Shout.

    Thanks!

[DEV] Looking for feedback: microMathematics 2.17 preview build

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 03:41 AM PST

microMathematics Plus – free and open source Android App that is the closest to Mathcad on Android OS today.

Many users asked me to add the support of SI and non-SI units and the possibility to open calculation worksheets from Smath Studio.

Both features are now implemented and ready for testing:

    • If you need a unit for the constant, you can put it from the keyboard into the same input field. The unit shall be separated from the number using space. The list of available units is collected in this document

    • An Smath Studio document can now be opened in microMathematics. There are limitations: microMathematics does not currently support images, tables, 3-D plots, string and symbolic functions from Smath Studio. However the functionality, collected in this document shall already work.

Both these themes are not easy to implement and contain a lot of special cases that currently may not work properly. I would like to invite any people who like mobile mathematics and mobile engineering (scientific) calculations help me with testing these new features.

The build 2.17.0 can be downloaded here

    App for copying NFC data

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 01:56 AM PST

I'm using a contactless card for the Athens metro, and I'm assuming it's using NFC. I was wondering if it's possible to scan the card with my Galaxy S8 and have that replicate the signal so I can just use my phone at the turnstiles.

Is there an app which can do this?

App that is able to forward SMS to Whatsapp texts ?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 11:03 AM PST

    Hello,

Me and my gf bought 2 DZ09 with the hope to be able to answer quickly Whatsapp when she'll be on internship, but those smartwatchs only allows whatsapps reply when a SIM is inserted in the watch. Which is extremely dumb.

I tried some applications of SMS forwarder but none worked !

So i'm looking for something that could forward a SMS to a Whatsapp contact. By doing that, i'll just send a SMS to myself, and set the forward to "my number" to "whatsapp contact GF". Am I understandable ?

Sorry for lack of vocabulary, i'd really like to set up something that could make her happy to have no issues with quick replies during the time she'll be gone...

    Thanks already !

    Best all-around android web browser

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 01:20 AM PST

Hello guys, I'm looking for the best all-around android web browser that's fast & smooth(doesn't have to be lightweight but can), has option to import bookmars from other browsers and doesn't eat a lot of battery. Also btw. I have an adaway so recommending me a browser just purely because it has an adblock built in is unnecessarry to me. I'm currently using Chrome and wondering if there are any better options for it?
    Thank you!

I give a FREE unlock code for the new version of my alarm clock App which turns your Android into a professional wake up light. It will unlock all PREMIUM functions.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 07:00 AM PST

Wake up with a true sunrise accompanied by the twittering of birds. The device screen, the natural sound and the vibration will increase gently to take you out of the deep sleep. You will feel refreshed when opening your eyes and ready for the day. Free unlock code wakeup2604 for premium functions.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.changemystyle.gentlewakeup

"Hi, I am an independent app developer with a big problem: I just can't get out of bed in the morning. In the past I hit snooze over and over again but I still felt tired. I guess I am what is called a typical night owl. Then a friend told me to try a wake up light and I was really flashed how refreshed I felt when the light waked me up gently the first time.

But good wake up devices are expensive and I also saw a lot of improvement possibilities. So I started to develop the app "Gentle Wakeup" in 2016. The app gives you full control over the wake up process. Start the sunrise 20 minutes before your desired wake-up time and define your personal brightness level at the end. Add slowly increasing sounds of birds twittering and add a device vibration as a backup 5 min after wake up time. Enjoy a nice morning show including weather forecast before you get out of bed.

The response from the play store was just amazing. Until now the app has been downloaded over a 100 thousand times. Seems like I was not the only one with this problem ;) People even told me that the app has changed their life! Great!

I sticked close to the community to constantly improve the app. The app has an average rating of 4.3 with amazing reviews and is packed full with cool features:

    • Alarm clock: Fully functional alarm clock with repeated alarms and snooze function.
    • Gentle sounds: Wake up with different natural sounds, instrumental music or your own favorite pieces.
    • True sunrise: The sun changes its colors from red to yellow like a real sunrise.
    • Weather forecast: An animated weather show presents you the weather conditions and temperature for the day.
    • Skip next alarm: Skip a repeating alarm in case you wake up earlier. No risk of forgetting to turn alarm on again.
    • Custom repeat options: Repeat alarms every second monday, every second day or set specific calendar days for work shift.

What I also learned from the community is that for many people not only waking up is a problem but also staying asleep. Today I am very proud to present a big update with:

    • Sleeping sounds: Sleep better with background sounds like rain, wind, crickets or white noise.
    • Nightstand clock: Display shows current time and wake up time over night.

The app has 50 high quality sounds for wakeup and night background now!

And best of all: Here at androidapps you get all premium functions for FREE!

Just enter the code wakeup2604 in the app settings and unlock all premium functions. You get all the features of the pro version which saves you $7!

In return I would love to get some feedback from you guys how the app works for you. Any new feature ideas are welcome. I will try to answer all comments.

So what comes next? Currently I am working on fading light effects and fading sound for power napping and sleep timer. I'll keep you updated when these features are ready."

    Android Application for Time Management

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 10:55 PM PST

An application with Time Management capabilities is needed. The app should give alarm notifications at specified time given. For example At 10 AM should remind me of taking medicine. At 10:20 AM must remind me of taking a break etc. The number of Time to be fed in the app should be enough for all day. Thank You.

Looking for an app to document my route

    Posted: 22 Feb 2018 02:09 AM PST

Hi, I'm working as a distributor of posters, and I have about 20 bulletin boards to hang my posters there. There is a new worker I need to instruct, and generally I want to document all of my distributing route, with a picture of the bulletin board and where it is located, the best route (for my opinion, I don't need to calculate one for me) between all the boards, description of where the board is located and maybe a serial number / name for the board. I wanted to use Google My Maps but there is no option for a picture there and the line/point thingy over there is pretty confusing.

Someone can recommend me something else?

What app absolutely deserves it's price in your opinion ?

    Posted: 21 Feb 2018 01:41 PM PST

I've looked at top posts of the sub and didn't see that question asked.

It's hard to find quality paid apps on the play store, i think sharing what you like could help great devs to grow and users to have diversity in apps.

For me, i've been using his apps for approximatively 3 years, KF Software house deserves all my money.

Mainly for Battery,Network,Resource Monitor pro. These have been able to tell me when my phone was overheating (my previous HTC ONE m9 before the overheating patch #55celsiusdegrees), when my phone consumed too much cpu or ram and also how good my wifi and data is (very useful if you doubt the quality of signal).

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=KF+Software+House

BTW i'm not a r/hailcorporate guy. I just haven't bought many apps on the store and i thought i'd highlight those who are great.

    Thanks for your answers :)
