Anyone using Firebase+Bigquery for detailed analytics ? Any tips for first time users ?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2018 10:07 AM PST

hi guys, we are just going to start integrating Firebase Analytics into our app - we want to do detailed analysis for our marketing teams. We have never used Bigquery (or Datastudio which seems to be recommended these days), so this new for us. I have used Mixpanel in the past - so want to get a lot of the same funnels and analytics working. We are happy to learn bigquery syntax to do it - im just wondering if anything is NOT possible ?

Also when integrating firebase into the app - is it just drop in (like a lot of other tools) or do we have to manually send an event for every button click, etc?

Any advice/tips will be very helpful

I start emulator with Google APIs, I login to play store, it automatically starts downloading everything in my account and my emulator image is now 9 GB.

Like, literally doesn't even bother to ask or detect whether it's on a fucking emulator. And if I wipe the image or cold boot it just does it all over again.

How exactly are you supposed to use it?

Can I have the Play store page available to the public before the game is?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2018 11:51 AM PST

I'm struggling to find where I would do this. I have a store page that I see when I'm logged in, because I'm a tester, but others can't see the store page yet.

    Best Free analytics platform

    Posted: 16 Feb 2018 08:09 PM PST

    Hello,

I have been using MIxpanal. I am fully integrated and I am about to run out of my free data points(25k a month). I am not ready to spend $999 a year. What are my best options? Amplitude has 10 million actions a month for free. Is there a definitive best free analytics service for Android? User-friendly is best as I am not a data scientist.

What do you think about the idea of revenue sharing among users? I've recently found a service/sdk that will detect user interactions and calculate their earnings on your app.
